I think the lady had over-reacted a bit. In doing so, she had essentially burned the bridges behind her, so to speak. In a situation like this, there are two things that can be done to make amends. When you contact her to cancel, offer her compensation, ie a cancellation fee. Second is to offer to reschedule the appointment. Chances are that with the second offer, she'd be quite unlikely to accept the compensation offered, based on my own experiences.

When my lovely ATF meets me at the door, she always wears high heels which makes her so statuesque. When we go out and about like going to a restaurant or hiking, she'll wear flats to be more comfortable, less formal and so that we could be less eye-catching.

Just back home after spending the day including a hiking trip to the Gatineau park with my lovely favorite lady.

I have been using Google Chrome for quite a while with no problem. Only the last 3-4 days, after I click on "Enter Here" on the main page to log in, it seems to take a longer time for the log in page to appear. Unlike jafo, it does not take 5 mins. though.

Well-said, Cato. I share your sentiments but I would not have said it better even if I try. ;) Like you, over the years, I have met many wonderful ladies and have become regulars with some of them. Some of these ladies are from this region, some were visiting and some were visiting even from oversea. Many of them have retired and I have lost contact with them. I have fond memories with many of these ladies and whenever I think of them, I wish and send them best wishes and success in whatever they are doing or endeavor to do.
