  1. There are literally hundreds of women dancing on any given night in Ottawa, so it would be almost absurd to give you a recommendation. What I can recommend is to take a dancer you like to the back for 1 song and see how it goes from there. If you don't feel it's what you want, keep it to 1 song and move on the next dancer.
  2. I actually feel they are more private because there is no "through" traffic like the booths used to be. The only people who might see you getting a dance are people who are also getting a dance and they are too distracted to care what you are doing. I've only been working dayshifts though, so maybe this is different on the busy nights. In the other booths, I used to get men actually stand and stare, if you can believe that! I would have to tell them to get lost. This has not happened in the new VIP area. With the new VIP room, I have a tendency to grab the fake trees and put them around my couch. Some customer make fun of me for it. The one thing I think needs to be improved is that we need a table! I will be mentioning this to management.
  3. I agree with curious2 and I think that this Nu Den is probably safer now than it's ever been. I worked last night and there was a strong police presence. You wouldn't know if you didn't pay proper attention, but there were undercovers. The perpetrators are known and it is highly unlikely they would return to the Nu Den because they would most certainly be caught. As for business, it was pretty much a normal Monday night. None the customers mentioned the shooting to me. The other dancers told me that even the Sunday after the shooting was pretty normal. Julia
