Yup, nice to see Hoss finally get one. Also nice to see a few calls against the Flyers, but I was worried in the first when the Hawks didn't capitalize on the (almost) back-to-back power plays. Kane didn't seem "on" last night either. Was he missing from the bench at the end of the game?

Who knows about what I do? Not a soul. It's a bit of a shame, really, because I find so many facets of this hobby/industry/life interesting, it would be great to have someone with whom I could discuss it. Cerb works as well as an online forum can, of course, but it's not quite the same as a conversation. Is seeing an SP only once a definitive method of making a judgment? Sometimes you just know "that dog won't hunt". It's not just the physical aspect of the encounter either that keeps you from returning; there's just no out-of-bedroom chemistry, or the business side of things was handled in a way that did not inspire confidence, or a myriad of other reasons. Recommendations and research are very useful ways to reduce the odds of this happening, but it can't be eliminated. I've had follow-up encounters that brought me down to earth with regards to imagined compatibility, and I've had others that reinforced my initial attraction.

Exactly. I had to cancel a session due to having a really virulent flu. It would be odd paying a cancellation fee for doing something that was actually beneficial for the SP in the long run (one appointment that was cancelled in time to find another client versus 2 or 3 days being out of action).
