  1. I've had the privilege of Jessica's company a few times and she is beautiful young woman. She treats you with courtesy and patience and her company truly is an honour. Treat her with world class dignity and respect and here's a small hint to potential visitors out there; her favorite flowers are roses.
  2. Isn't it fascintaing how when something someone owns does really well they're the first in line to accept the credit but when it hits the fan they were ignorant of the day to day business? If News of the Owrld had won a Pulitzer, Murdoch would have been first in line for the photo. But now that his chickens are coming home to roost? He claims he was ignorant of everything. His property. His responsibility. His mess. The one thing this scandal is really highlighting is that for years, Murdoch used his media properties to not only shape national dialogues in the world's most powerful countries to express his own agenda, but he also used them and the support they garnered to coerce and blackmail and terrorize elected officials into doing what he wanted. this whole thing is of his own design (this wrong for media on both the left AND the right-looking at you too, CBC). And as for his biggest American property, Fox News, who always answers criticism of their far right agenda that they take a "fair and balanced" approach, they seem to be completely oblivious to this whole story. Funny how that worked out too.
  3. The simple fact of the matter is that we are all taught to pay for sex and the majority of us don't even know it. At least 90% of advertisers use sex and sexual innuendo to market their products and services. Girls as young as ten are now sold on the idea of dressing for a girls night out and professional sports have never shied away from using scandily clad cheerleaders to sell their brands. And without our addiciton to sex, people like the Kardashians, Britney Spears and the entire cast of Jersy Shore (to name a very few) wouldn't have careers. Nike wants to sell more shoes? They sign that year's Playboy Playmate as a spokemodel. Florida wants to attract more tourists? They make commercials showing a dozen smiling twenty something women in bikinis. How many action movies toss shots of female nuditiy in between gun fights and explosions for no other purpose to have them there? I'm not being judgemental, but that's the way it is. And we're completely screwed up about it. The Sun chain of newspapers uses their Sunshine girls to promote circulation and then print editorials arguing against prostitution and embracing "conservative" views on sexual behaviour. The examples of social hypocrisy are endless. And as far as paying for it, I believe mark Twain said something along the lines that the only difference between prostitution and marriage is that marriage costs more.
  4. Best of Luck Carley! Whenever you feel you're resolve weakening, drop in and I'm sure CERB will do whatever they can to support you.
  5. Having experience in sales, I definately sympathize with MOD. You get no shortage of people asking questions that most people would accept as common sense. Nor was there any shortage of people who seemed to need a hand to guide them through what a lot of us would consider simple tasks. Simply put, MOD has too much to worry about fa lot of issues we as members may sometimes consider frustrating or important. What I think the real issue comes down to is communication. I suspect that decisions may have been made and words may have been said in the heat of the moment and without being carefully thought through. I've nominated a few comments in this thread, pretty much the ones stressing calmer heads. If we abandon reason we pretty much throw about a million years of evolution out the window. There may be some bumps and disagreements along the way but MOD is doing a great job and has addressed a number of issues that may present a danger to both the ladies and gentlemen alike. He is also responsible for the integrity of the site (and by extension, community). Keeping that in mind, I'm sure G11 can find the wisdom to accept this as a learning experience and continue to enjoy the community.
  6. My personal perspective has always been that sharing time with an SP is a privilege, regardless of the donation. And that the ladies deserve respect and dignity no matter how much may have changed hands. Yes, seeing them may well be a fantasy, but without them and their hospitality to begin with, there is no opportunity for that fantasy (the old chicken and the egg quandry). I could never accept that there are some out there who think that simply because they have donated to a lady to share her time that they can judge or demean her based on their own uninformed views of her faith. And even if he disagrees with that faith, he does not have any right to express his that disagreement in any sort of negative way. If he passed moral judgement on Malika because of her symbols, that reflects his ignorance. His reaction betrays his weak character. This is a man who does not deserve the time of any lady regardless of her spiritual beliefs. If Malkia tried to express them to him in an impersonal matter or condemned his beliefs, that would be a different story. Try and forget him Malika, he was a waste of time and seemingly poorly educated on views he uses to condemn others. If he were a true man, he would have sought to understand your beliefs instead of devaluing you becuase of them.
  7. Happy Father's Day to all the fathers! Hope you enjoy and get spoiled.
  8. Congrats Shymale. And I'd also like to extend a thanks to Lee for doing this. It was nice fun. Thanks.
  9. It should be interesting to see how much public opinion will weigh on a new Conservative majority regarding this issue. Especially if it goes to the Supreme Court.
  10. Callimari. Actually, that probably goes ANYTIME.
  11. Best of luck to you in the future and make sure to be safe and happy.
  12. Some years ago, I very good friend of mine walked down the aisle. Her father was unavailable so she asked me to walk her down the aisle. An honour beyond words.
  13. There's been a lot of science lately about how chemicals and other pollutants in our environment may be the reason for increases in various cancer. But having said that, politicans are not the first people I think of who make my safety a priority (otherwise smoking would be illegal and we wouldn't wind up with another few million litres of raw sewage in the river every time it rained). Are there any effective natural ways people know of that can help weeds? Methods that are chemcial free that don't always involve ripping plants from the ground?
  14. I've been amused by Bettman's attempts to use this to reform his image in Canada. Aside form looking more like he was constipated than happy at the press conference announcing the move, and his atttempt to throw cold water on the parade ("if this building isn't full every night, this won't work"), all the evidence points to his contempt for Canada regardless of what he says. I sincerely hope the people of Winnipeg sell our every home date for the next three years, just to add insult to his injured pride.
  15. I had my doubts that Bettman and Co. would allow it, but I for one am thrilled to see the NHL return to Wiinnipeg. I still remain loyal to my own team but feel the people of Winnipeg deserve this for their years of patience and determination. Congrats Winterpeg! Here's hoping they seal the deal by renaming them the Jets (the NHL has already given them permission). Great to see David win over Goliath now and then.
  16. Happy belated birthday. Hope it was a good one.
  17. Don't get me wrong, I definitely did not vote Conservative and I support a sincere dialogue on electoral and Senate reform, but I get frustrated when I hear complaints by people on political message boards and in day to day conversation and I know that they would defend the system if their party won. Your passion and affection for Canada is apparent and something to be proud of and your concern for its values and future is commendable. But we should always keep an eye on our values and freedoms, regardless of who wields power.
  18. That's quite the list Amelia. Here's hoping you finish it all off and had a good birthday!
