  1. I have had the opportunity to visit Isabella a few times and she is a beautiful, dignified, gracious woman. She shows sincere respect and patience towards those who deserve it. She is a truly extraordinary woman. She deserves to be treated with respect and courtesy. As a community we are all better off with her as a part of it.
  2. Quick story from this year's Darwin Awards. With the recession, the value of scrap steel really climbed. A bunch of guys went into a warehouse to steal the girders. Most of them died from their injuries. They were crushed to death. Lets hope they didn't breed.
  3. One of the nmost worthy causes around. Additional Comments: One of the most worthy causes around.
  4. They should probably change the word whore. At first I thought they were talking about politicians.
  5. The current politcal story is the refusal of every party to allow the federal auditor to examine expenses and spending by the House itself. And these people, where even the most unimportant members make well into 6 figures plus perks, wonder why they are generally distrusted by the public? The political machine has long ago forgotten they work for the taxpayers and are consumed by a sense of entitlement. Want to see where a lot of tax dollar go? Walk into any big store sometime in April when most office budgets come to their fiscal ends and you can see people in suits buying TVs, DVD and Blu-Ray players, iPods, jewellry and other "essentials" to blow their budgets and ensure they get as much 9or more) money the following year. Every cent spent should be made public and accountable to the taxpayers, the ones who sponsor these shopping sprees.
  6. To cope I would buy them weapons! I would not worry about them as much as I would worry about other people. People outside of this community are not as enlightened or trustworthy. I would be worried about their safety from others more than anything.
  7. Congradulations Erin. The world needs more enlightened insight (and less Fox News). Keep up the good work.
  8. Echoing what Angela said about being in "legitimate" jobs where she was treated poorly, most of the ladies I have had the privilege of meeting from CERB treated me better than the type of woman you would meet as a single guy in a club or other single scene. My observation (skewed of course), is that women in this industry are less judgemental and perhaps even less materialistic. Another reason to treat them with respect. You can rest assured that women with this much character are probably choosing to be in this business.
  9. Shortly before this thread started I was discussing this with someone and she wondered if the guys who posted queries about ladies on CL thought about how the ladies on CERB felt about their posts. Especially given CL's rep as a haven for scams. She made a lot of sense and I hadn't thought about it like that. I can understand why the ladies would be frustrated and I do ask myself, while I would never wish it upon anyone, why people would use it knowing what we know about bait and switch and potential armed thievery? No one should ever get robbed, but sometimes you gotta ask yourself what the person was doing walking in a dark alley with a rep for crime. Totally agree with the ladies on this.
  10. I have to admit, I had written the Habs off as first round fodder before the playoffs even started and doubted they could work the same magic aginst Sid and the Pens. But you have to be impressed with their moxie and sheer determination. And not only is Halak brilliant in goal, but he looks so cool and collected doing it. Can they go the whole way? I think the finals is in their future. If that's the case, I can't see anyone winning the Conn Smythe other than Halak, win or lose. Think of the rioting in the streets then.
  11. If he knowingly failed to communicate his condition then he should be charged with attempted murder, at the very least. Someone will eventually come out with the typical "well, his victims should have had protected sex," and they should have, but that doesn't reduce the heinous nature of what this creature did. If there is a Hell, he should prepare to start getting his mail there.
  12. I don't have an So, but from what I understand, there are no shortage of marriages where an arrangement exists that allows leverage for extra-curricular sex, so to speak. But my personal view is that if that arrangement doesn't exist, and you claim you value the vow of faithfulness then you have no right to any sympathy. Especially if that results in the humiliation of your husband/wife in front of the entire world. From what I understand, miss Bullock thiught she was in a monogymous relationship. No one should fault her for tossing her philandering husband aside.
  13. That would definitely be the most interesting portfolio ever. You could probably add Apple to that list though. It amazes me how much Apple can put out redundant or not really useful product and convince people to part with hundreds of dollars, even in a recession, for it. People may already own five different iPods but they just have to have the next one with a slightly different screen and a new colour. It may be sad but you have to hand it to Steve jobbs, he knows his marketing.
  14. For hotel suggestions, I'm sure you could make inquiries in the SP only section. I'm sure most of the ladies in Ottawa and otherplaces would gladly point you in the right direction. Good luck.
  15. For whatever reasons, I have never has a serious SO and have turned to this hobby to provide companionship and connection. I don't get anything out of random, mechanical sexual encounters and have even regretted a few dates I've had since joining CERB (no one's fault but my own). Once I find someone I connect with, I stick with them.
  16. No one should assume that a specific term means they're entitled to anything. As long as the lady hasn't advertised that specific service, her rules are paramount. If someone is looking for something specific, they should do the research first and make sure the lady is comfortable offering it. If not . . . In the end any one who requests or expects anything the lady does not want to do is not or does not offer isn't worth her time.
  17. No matter what you thought of him, there's no denying his place in history along the other music icons of the century. He may not have sparked a new movement on his own, but he certainly was its catalyst. He may well be the last, dominant musical voice we ever see.

    Very sad.

Its seeing things like this that make us realize how lucky we are to call Canada home. It is far from perfect, but far better than what these women are forced to endure. And the scary thing is, there are women who are treated just as bad or even worse in so many parts of the world. Makes you wonder, if there is a God, does He have a soul?
  19. If you feel genuinely threatened, call the police. Something like this rarely goes away. Better to be cautious and not have anything happen then hopeful and be disappointed. this is an invasion of your privacy as well as your anonymity.
  20. Well said, Mr Green. And I hope Amelia came away from her experience okay. Isn't that why this thread was started-to justify references as a safety tool? Do we need any other examples to justify why ladies ask for them? Quite honestly, I think every SP is entitled to at least one pitbull. no one will give you any problems with one of those on hand.
  21. Well, if he needs tips on how to handle rejection, I can write a book. but seriously, having seen Bethany, she is classy, graceful and a great person who I hope to visit again one day. I can definitely appreciate someone developing feelings for her but at the same time this schmuck needs to man up and let go.
  22. Perhaps the SPs who don't provide references for "personal" reasons should ask themselves how they would feel if none of the men who visited them recommended them in the Recommendation Section. That's how hobbyist's offer other hobbyists references. Perhaps they don't see their behaviour affecting the big picture, like return business?
  23. Lately I've been making decisions on who I visit based on how the services the SP offers may affect personal health. I have to admit I'm a big fan of kissing. Not just a woman's lips, but her shoulders, breast, stomach, legs. A woman's body is one of nature's greatest works of art. So given that, if an SP offers services like BBBJ, CIM, COF, COB-well that would virtually make my decision for me-especially if I suspect that she may be in the habit of piggy backing appointments (not having time to sort of freshen up in the meantime). What attracted me to the last SP whose company I enjoyed (and hope to enjoy again) was a post she made on the importance of hygene and high standards.
  24. If hobbyists expect an SP to make their dreams come true, fulfill their fantasies and offer perfect discretion, they have to realize it's a two way street and should never object to the request of a reference. It's completely unreasonable to demand that a woman be your temporary girlfriend, coy and flirtatous, without her having expectations outside of the donation (hygene, reference, etc.). If the SP wants a reference, that's part of the expectation of sharing time with her. That being said, I was asked to provide a reference recently and have to admit I felt a bit awkward asking another SP for one. Turns out she had no reservations about it at all and complimented me in the process. And judging by the time I spent with the SP who requested the reference, it was well worth the awkwardness. I can't say that I might not feel awkward again but I understand the request and don't think an SP should ever be refused it should it be possible to provide one. And if you can't for any of the genuine reasons mentioned previously, I believe the SPs on CERB are understanding enough to appreciate that situation and can accomodate other means of reference if they have to.
