Each club got a surprise bill of $7,500 to have an entertainment license to operate in Ottawa for 2018 with hints it may be higher in 2019. That is a jump from the $2,500 paid in 2017 . A 200% increase with no warning. That is a flat fee...regardless of seating or size. I am not a strip club owner, but I am a business man and to have a bill of that size come in to just operate would sting. Let alone the other hurdles of being in business as a strip club that many of us do not realize. Like most fees, these get past down to the paying customer. $5 CR charge, .50 cent hike in drinks, $1 increase in door fee. Whatever the case, people will bitch about it. The Fax...I am unsure if its $7,500 flat or $7,500 x 2 as I believe upstairs is a separate license when they put in the stairs in the middle. The owner at the Mate said he needed a license for the Mate and the other for Suite 300.....$15,000.00 license fee. Compound this with increase in minimum wages. In either case, I enjoy going to SC's. I generally go with "x" amount in my pocket. I budget "x" amount for dances, the rest on drinks and anywhere else, the $5 is in that now....big deal....if I whine about $5 I should not be going to a SC. Maybe it is a bad and sour taste to have an extra fee, but to be honest, raising drink prices would be worse and I am not sure how an increase in door fee be taken. Enjoy the clubs guys. Have some drinks, enjoy the scenery and have fun.

Morena .....She has been at the Mate for about 5 years now. She dances Mondays and Wednesdays in the day with an occasional odd day during the week here and there. Very nice lady.

I ventured to the club yesterday and there were a ton of hotties. Several ladies that were AWOL for the summer seem to have returned such as Virginie ( a fav of mine) and also a sweet looking Hungarian dancer from T.O that has visited before in the past. As well the usual ladies which made it a great night for pickings. it was relatively quiet up until 9pm. All in all, it was a great night in terms of talent and ambiance. On a side note, I don't get it with the numerous police visits here. It surely puts a damper on having perhaps that extra drink and makes going downstairs uneasy. The police came in around 3 and also at 8, doing a tour and what I noticed is that they just walk right in and straight downstairs, not wasting time at the door first. Then as usual, a car is always spotted in the lot waiting and/or looking. This is not the 1st time....it seems to be ALL the time whenever I visit.....no matter what day and what time, its an almost guarantee. I really hope the tax dollars are going for genuine time and reason, because it just seems to be a mandate given to them to be sure to be seen at all costs. Just my 2 cents.

I haven't been at the club in sometime. I dropped by today and there were some stunners present. I had my eye on 3 new girls, Olivia , Kelly and Mandy. Olivia is a stunning brunette with a perfect body. Very tanned, best ass I have seen in a long long time and fake boobs. She is from Montreal and speaks perfect English. I had the pleasure to have her for a dance and she does not disappoint. She works days up until about 11 pm if anyone wants to catch her. She works 3-4 days a week....Tuesday-Friday max. and by the way she talks, she plans to visit Pigale often for work. Kelly is a full figured brunette with long curls. Tattoos on her right upper right leg. Another pretty girl with a dynamite body. She was my first choice to grab a dance with, but seemed more occupied hanging with her friends. Mandy came in around 6 and what a stunner. A tiny blonde with a perfect spinner body. Extremely pretty and attractive and you can tell she knows this by the way she walks around. Hopefully this week I can do a recon on the other 2 and post.

@2DCor Diamond is now back in Ottawa and contemplating returning to dancing. She has her fair share of sugar daddies (with due respect in saying this, not in anyway insulting). She has had her breasts reduced and lifted and has scarring, so it may shy her away from returning to dancing. I was a Pigale today and saw an old face return to dancing......I did not catch her name as she was always busy. She is tall, thick boned, brunette, large breasts and a bird,phoenix type tattoo on her back shoulder blades. She is the half sister of a past dancer named Brooklyn. I always had an eye on this girl before, but never had the pleasure to have a dance. If anyone happens to know who I mean, I would appreciate it so I know who to look/hear for when I go back.

@Izzy2 No, it was not Maya, I am pretty sure Mila, tall, slim brunette. English. Maya has been around the times I have been there. There is a girl there this week and will work this weekend. From Montreal and is Spanish and Italian speaking as well. Crazzzzyyyy body. She goes by Michelle and wears librarian type glasses. Tiny girl, but fit and fake breasts. She gives a very close dance and good grind if you are into that (I am). She is working days and nights. I highly recommend her for a dance.

I passed by here for a quick lunch today. At 1pm, there were a total of 5 dancers. The variety was veryyyyyyy slim. The regular girls I saw were Angie and I have seen this girl before, she came up and talked to me, very attractive and actually very funny and great to talk to. Her name was Mila. I made it clear I had a short visit and couldn't go downstairs but she did not mind and kept me company until I had to go. By about 3 when I had to leave, perhaps 2 or so more girls showed up. In all, it was a pretty lame day. I am curious how the Happy Hour has done in terms of quality and clients coming in? Lets face it, if there are guys, there will be girls. Also learned its ALL drinks (except the high end booze) that are 5 bucks as well...tequila, jack, sambucca.....I hope this is a trend.....

Yep...it is true. ALL bottles beer $5.00 between 5-7 only and ALL bar rail drinks $5.00 each between 5-7. I LOVE IT !! It's about time.

it's dead everywhere. Cash is not like it once was, especially in this city when Nortel staff and JDS staff ( and more ) walking around with high incomes. I popped into Pigs and it was deeeeeeeeead.Prior to Pigs, I was out with friends for dinner and drinks and it was busy where we were....after Pigs, I took a couple dancers and went to Casino and had a blast. Drinks cheaper, entertainment was fun, all in all, drinks, a bit of dancing and gambling....all within a 4-5 hour span.......heck of a cheaper outing than spending the night at the local ballet. I tip beyond well, drink, spend $, buy drinks.....but there comes a time when our local joints need to come down to reality. I went to Montreal with my business partner a couple months back and visited a strip joint ( name escapes me but its well known ) and it felt like throw back 10 years ago. dances at tables for $5 and private dances for $15 and drinks affordable ( again, I tip well so it amounts same as local but its the POINT of not being robbed by the bar ) I am treated well because i spend ....but I sense and feel the vast majority who work here are miserable.....I get told this as well. I have my favorites and such, but I can cut the tension with a knife at my regular spots (pigale, barefax and playmate). As tonight, my visit was spontaneous and I didn't know if I was visiting my grandparents at Beechwood cemetary or at Pigales. I visit still because it is a hit and miss for me and I go because I work hard and play hard......I guess I enjoy the excitement of the moment and looking for that.....but more and more I need to ensure and plan to see if my favorite dancers are working and I hate that feeling of going on others time......I want to go on MY TIME, MY MOMENT and that is slowly going away. /vent off .....

It's not very often I am at Pigale's in the evening, but boy, am I glad ( also pissed ) I decided to go. The talent was exceptional, I had my eyes on a few ladies and met several others. In all, I spent a lot of time conversing with a lot of friendly ladies......not my type for CR, but I do offer drinks and one I gave $20.00 to put in the slots and deal was she kept winnings and I get my $20.00 back.......guess what, she won some $ and I got my $20 back :-). I'm a vet in terms of stripclubs, I know the game, I know the B.S if a lady sweet talks....I go to the CR if I feel attracted in a dancer and will repeat in the future if we hit it off.....sadly, I went down with a dancer and if I don't know her well, we discuss the number of songs with an update every few dances and we agreed every 5 songs.....after 3 songs, she tried to nail me saying we are approaching 10.....I flipped and we argued, waitress overheard, the dancer panicked as I was going to see the manager.......she insisted it was over 5 at least and after much regret, left her $80.......I told the manager and without me even needing to describe her , as I didn't want to cause a scene, he immediately identified her on who I had the issue with and he booted her out and asked me if I wanted the $20 back......so ya, I was pissed about that, but thumbs up to the establishment to make me feel right......so I decided to stay longer. With all due respect to the boards policy, I will not mention the name. As the night continued, I saw a lady who I have seen work before in the past, I always found her to have extreme sex appeal and I asked her for a dance....I didnt glance back in the boards if she has ever been reviewed before, but holy smokes was she phenomenal downstairs. Talk about ending the night on a high note. She was open to give out her number and without hesitation took it for another rendezvous in the near future. Not 100% sure her name if it was her work name or real name.....she told me to save her as a contact as Rhianna...........sigh Rhianna.....what have you done to me. I HIGHLY recommend her! YMMV and that is important to take into account......for me, she did everything I enjoy in a dance, wonderful teasing, close and intimate in so many ways with a touch of playfulness that makes you want another dance.....and another, and another.
