I am fairly conservative when it comes to this kind of stuff, I believe in the rights of peaceful protesters, however like others have stated. the peaceful protesters use the anarchists to get headlines as in general no one actually cares about their convoluted message. But the sad parts is even after the G20 is over no one will even remember what the message was. Cops will be accused of overstepping their bounds Protesters will get away with hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages to property. regular citizens will have been inconvenienced and possibly harassed. while everyone is critical of the G20, this is just the price of doing business.

Again an iPad combined with citrix can be a powerful combination. I can have a full windows xp desktop on my iPhone if needed via citrix an ipad can only be so much better. But I would say an iPhone and a 13" mac book pro would be an awesome portable combo. As well there are reports of wifi issues on the ipad, I personally would wait till iPad 2.0.
