  1. I must say thank you all, once again. Coming home from a perfect day at the beach with the ones I love most, and reading even more birthday wishes from my cerb family was the icing on my cake!
  2. Oh thank you everyone!!! Each and every one of you who has taken the time to wish me well on this thirty heaventh birthday has truly made my day. I haven't stopped smiling since I got up this morning! Because I'm a simple girl, who gets much joy out of the little things, I am spending my birthday with my best friend, my sister, my niece, my mom and my dogs...at the BEACH! I can hardly wait to get going... :) Tanlines to follow...
  3. Omigod you guys! Thank you so much! I'm sitting here with the silliest looking grin on my face right now. :) Only a few more hours to enjoy being thirty sex. But on the bright side, when I awake tomorrow, I will be thirty heaven!
  4. I just found out who is coming and I can hardly wait to meet you all! Say what you will about Chicas...The man knows how to throw a party! For those of you who couldn't make it this time, a little birdy told me there will be more parties in the future! I also want to thank you Chicas for once again arranging an opportunity to develop a sense of community here in Winnipeg, like they do in Ottawa. Many of us are glad you're part of ours. :)
  5. I'd say careful with the black. Sometimes that particular shade can look harsh. Make sure you match your skin tone with your new hair colour, other wise you'll end up looking washed out. As beautiful as you are, it can happen with the wrong shade. Can't wait to see what you decide on Lindsay!
  6. Just a few... Jurassic Park South Park Movie My Cousin Vinny Bad Boy Bubby Bram Stoker's Dracula Pan's Labyrinth The Beach Sideways Boogie Nights A Clockwork Orange The Song Remains The Same The Wizard of Oz
  7. Yes Angela, it's true. However, I haven't been asked to bring any of my BDSM accessories. I do know Chicas is not into that scene at all, so out of respect for the party-thrower, I will be on my best behaviour. ;) Also, I wanted to say I'm sincerely looking forward to meeting some new friends at the Chicas Party!
  8. It depends. Do you have a preference over real versus fake?
  9. I think I may have met you at the social. Lots of luck and happiness for the future!
  10. Seriously? What's not to like about Angela? She rocks all around! She's helpful, shares her opinion and is good to her friends. I feel lucky to be one of them. :)
  11. I like when winnipegcub shares his opinion...and with such admirable diplomacy!
  12. Well it's about bloody well time! Now if Canada would only get with the program. Sigh.
  13. I like Elizabeth's talented writing style. She is very eloquent and empathetic in her posts. I like reading her!
  14. I don't quite get it. So this is about vulgarity in the usage of words on cerb? Granted, some of the terminology isn't great, but who cares? We're adults here and if you dislike a thread title, do not click on it, do not read the posts within and certainly do not partake in the discussion. This place is about freedom. Freedom of expression (mostly) and sexual freedom. We're all here because we want to be. No one is forcing us. But keep in mind what type of board this is. It is a board to freely discuss anything and everything to do with sex, which is why we're all here! I prefer to keep things classy, and I don't use raunchy terminology or expressions, because it doesn't accurately reflect my personality. I'm confident that comes through by my not answering to certain threads. That's all I do. I don't waste precious energy getting all riled up about what someone across the country decided to start a thread on. It's fine that you find some threads offensive, but I think you need to grow a thicker skin and remember where you are. Sex can be respectful, but it can also be dirty, sweaty, raunchy and nasty. Which is ok too!
  15. When you travel, you hope to make a profit over and above your expenses. Which can be very high. However, it's often a crapshoot, as clients often tend to book once you've arrived. So pre-bookings aren't always in abundance, or can always be counted on. So, you get there, announce your arrival and wait for the calls and emails. Unless you're a seasoned, well-known, well-reviewed traveling SP, it can be difficult to leave a new place without much money in your pocket. It happens. But now knowing what traveling SPs must go through...booking flights, making the flight, finding and booking a suitable hotel room, advertising, packing, living out of a suitcase, eating take-out all the time, loneliness, cancellations and no-shows; they all deserve our respect for what they go through to see you. Myself, I usually only travel to Ottawa, mostly because of Cerb. I've met wonderful people each time I've gone and it's definitely what keeps me coming back, at least once a year! However, I have decided this year to live and work in Saskatoon for the month September. I could spend the month traveling the country, but the way I am, I'd rather dig my heels and get comfortable in one place for a while. I must be getting old. :(
  16. I just plain adore Cato as a man, and a God. ;)
  17. I'm curious. Who enjoys British humour and who doesn't? And btw what's your fave British comedy series? I always enjoyed Monty Python as a kid, and found I laughed out loud a lot more watching Brit humour than many American shows. Nowadays I have to say Little Britain is totally classic and I love watching reruns. How 'bout you?
