If I may weigh in on this...I have no piercings, implants or tattoos (ok, one!) And although I love the badass look of of those things, it just isn't me. Now as I look around me, I see that my decision put me in the minority. I like that. I feel like I stand out sometimes because I don't have any mods or tats or implants. Vive la difference!

Congratulations on finishing school! I'm sorry I cannot help you with your hotel quandry by naming one, but when calling to book a room, before you give them any information about yourself, ask them if they have 'Day Rates'. If they do, they're likely privy to this sort of thing and are smart enough to cash in on this niche market. You could also try saying that you need a room for a couple of hours to conduct some interviews. They don't have to know what kind of interview it'll be! lol Good luck and congrats again on graduating!

Not everyone digs tattoos. They're only a recent phenomenom in our culture, so it's no surprise to me that they still garner looks, disrespectful and not. Yes Cleo, you are a gorgeous girl, inside and out, no doubt about it. However, to people like yourself, Malika and other funky, confident individuals, you have got to expect looks from others...you're fun and interesting to look at. And besides that, you know folks can be ignorant and unaccepting of things they don't understand, so continue to walk proud, with your beautiful heads held high. How boring would life be if we all looked the same?

Here's one for y'all. My 5 year old little PugZhu suddenly has epilepsy and he can't quit having seizures. He's been at the animal hospital for 2 days and every minute he's there, it's killing me. :( And no! Not because it's costing me hundreds. They have him on phenobarbitrol, which he was on before, 15mg twice a day. But now, because the seizures have gotten worse and more often, they're doubling the dose. Here's the super shitty part. A 10 pound little dog with more personality and heart than many people, is never going to be the same on that amount of medication. It's an unbelievably sad day for me, and I write this with a huge lump in my throat, because I know that even though I'm fortunate to still have my dog, I also know he won't be the same Butch when I bring him home. I guess this is what they call bittersweet? I wish I knew how to add some pics of him, because I can guarantee he's one of the cutest dogs in existence. Ok, maybe I'm a teensy bit biased.

I have to agree with etasman2000 Malika, you're beautiful regardless of what funky colour you dye your hair. Having said that, I've had streaks of every colour in my hair (that's as crazy as I get!) and I have to say that the colours that fade the nicest are purple, blue and pink. Go for it sweetheart. Individuality Rocks!

I get the impression many people expect me to be bitchy or snotty. But when I smile real big, and ask them how their day is going, no matter how gorgeous or terrible I look, I get things free and good customer service on a regular basis. But I truly believe it's not because I'm blonde, or attractive. I think it's because I'm genuinely nice to others. I honestly think it works for people of all levels of attractiveness. Hope that didn't come across bitchy or snotty! lol

After 5 long years of waiting...I'm finally going to Valley Fair in Minnesota! I love thrill rides and roller coasters and it's only a 7 hour drive. I also purchased a skydiving jump for this summer too! Woohoo! Farmer's Almanac is calling for a long, hot summer!

Great Question Big Al! My Uncle has worked for Coke my whole life, and because of it, we got as much as we wanted. Along with kitschy item like Coke bottle phones and Coke sweatshirts. Back then, I actually preferred Pic-A-Pop Black Cherry, but to me Coke is way too sweet and loses its fizz quickly. Pepsi, especially the kind sold in Mexico where they still make it with real sugar, is the best. It's just sweet enough and stays fizzy longer! PEPSI.
