  1. Personally, I just love when someone sends me a proper email, introducing themselves, telling me where they found my ad and a date and time they're interested in seeing me. Even if it's for the next day. Although I do realize not everyone can plan ahead, but it's just so much more meaningful than a call out of nowhere to see me in an hour, or worse yet, a text. I'm not complaining though. Just stating my preference. :)
  2. Oh dear! You're being much too hard on yourself. Life happens, and anyone who doesn't understand that, probably doesn't have much of one themselves. Go easier on yourself Steve. I'm sure in the end, it'll all work out. Wishing you the very best. :)
  3. OK! Looks like we're going to have to do this thing then. I've gotten lots of feedback, and it appears there will be enough interest to warrant trying to have a party. Now I can't say when this will happen, but I'm telling you all publically that I'm on it. Just please be patient! ;)
  4. So should we do it? Who wants to help me with ideas or suggestions? I will be grateful for any feedback. :)
  5. 'The Changeling' with George C. Scott is very scary. Uh...let's see. If you want classic horror, then maybe 'The Omen'? Or how about 'The Ring'? I love scary movies and I find the older ones are often better, without all the CGA and stuff. The Exorcist is always a good choice. Make sure to lock all your doors and turn the lights off, for full effect! And don't forget not to spill the popcorn. ;)
  6. I love your charitable souls! I too am someone who gets much joy out of helping others. I have volunteered regularly with cancer patients for the last 11 years. Although money is always needed to fund research, support and such, giving of your time does just as much, if not more. I know we're all very busy, but many of these charities could use an hour or two a week of your time just as much. I noticed a lot of you commenting on helping children specifically. In addition to a donation, imagine the impact you could have as a Big Brother/Sister? Or perhaps a very lonely elderly person who has been dropped off and forgotten at the nursing home. Why not go and spend some time with some of these poor, lonely souls? I worked with the homeless for years here in Winnipeg. Many of whom suffer mental illness and substance abuse. But I'll tell you something. These were some of the most misunderstood people out there. When someone actually stops and talks to them, as if they were a real human being, it lights something in their eyes. That's all they really want, from my experience. Not to be forgotten. I admire everyone who gives. Whether it be monetary or just some of your valuable time. It's good to give and I applaud you all!
  7. Please go out and do something wonderful for yourself today. You deserve it!
  8. LOL Now there's a great idea for a Halloween party! All the men come dressed as SPs and we'll come dressed as you guys! I've always wanted to wear a suit and a fake moustache! ;)
  9. That sounds like an awesome idea Holly! I'd be more than happy to come and meet some of you! Count me in, I'm there! As for the 'other' party with SPs and hobbyests, I need some help planning it...I've never thrown a party before! lol (Remember, that was Chavez's baby)
  10. To me, age is truly irrelevant. I have dated younger, my age and much older. As far as dating someone, it all comes down to mutual attraction, both mentally and physically. I have felt that way with men of varying ages, so I can't say I've ever had an age preference. For me, it's always been about the person, not which year they were born. :-)
  11. Unbelievable. Two members from cerb have donated towards Alex's birthday. I only charge him for my travel expenses because he has no extra money. I don't think money should necessarily stand in the way of someone like Alex finding a little joy. He never asked to be born with Cerebral Palsy. Anyway, I know his 2 younger brothers also donated towards my arrival. I don't know if either cerb member wants this to be anonymous or not. Since I don't know the answer, I will thank you both here, for your unsolicited and unexpected gesture of generosity. There's 2 more angels walking among us.
  12. Thanks for the offer Emb3750! I knew I should have participated while I was in Ottawa. :( But on a positive note, maybe once Chavez sees how many of you would be interested in coming this time, he may just throw another one soon! Let's all keep our fingers crossed and be extra nice to Chavez! lol
  13. Oh you guys! Thank you so much for all your unbelievably sweet words. But I don't really feel comfortable with all these accolades. Alex is the true hero here and I know, that many of you would do the exact same thing for such an incredible person. Because of his situation, I have offered to go and visit Alex once a year, on his birthday. My present to him. As you can all see, no one deserves it more.
  14. I wouldn't be interested in the whole 'watering hole' type of thing either. I hate bars.

I have to agree with theliquor, you belong in an ad miss Tasha. Incredible windows to your soul. Make up is impeccable too btw.
  16. I just started a thread in Winnipeg about having a social because I'm so jealous of all you friendly Ottawans doing it. But then I thought, what kind of party would we have exactly? Would it be a meet and greet or a 'poly party'. Thing is, I don't really know how one works. Sps and hobbyests alike, please enlighten us. Or me at least! What is a poly party, how do they operate, tips and suggestions for having one, locations and fees or even just experiences, would all be greatly appreciated. I can't believe I never asked this question sooner. ;)
  17. A certain level of trust must exist between the SPs and the hobbyests for this to work. No one wants this innocent little get-together to get anyone in trouble, in any way. But I do need to ask, since I know they do them in Ottawa; is this going to be a meet and greet or an actual 'poly party'? I'm not totally sure how they work, but I know their popular in other cities. Just curious what way most people saw something like this going.
  18. Not bad! Myself, Kaylee, Zoe and Tina, hostessing a Winnipeg social. I think that would be a party for all lovers of big, beautiful NATURAL breasts. We all got 'em! :boobies:lol Any more hobbyests interested in coming NOW? ;)
  19. I did mention in my last message that I was not responsible for the inviting. That was up to the host. In any case, it's nice to see some of you would attend if we were all so fortunate to have another one.
  20. It's too bad us Winnipeggers couldn't have a 'social' like they do in Ottawa. Chavez tried to throw a 'mixer' with an ideal number of SPs and hobbyests, being 6 of each. One guy came. And that was because I brought him! Chavez rented 2 rooms at the Mariaggi and one of them was the Jakarta room! This room was unbelievable. He also rented another theme suite just down the hall, in case anyone wanted some privacy. It turns out with 3 Sps, myself, TinaDDdoll, an SP from TO, and just Chavez and vgedit, we still had a great time. Why wouldn't anyone come? We had trouble getting both SPs and hobbyests to attend. I'd love to hear some feedback from some of you. Would you attend such an event in Winnipeg, if you were invited? I have no idea if he's planning another one, since the last one cost him a lot of money. Oh, and just so you know, I wasn't in charge of inviting anyone the last time! lol
  21. Looks like you've officially made a comeback Tina! Way to go girl. :)
