Don't confuse jacuzzis with hot tubs. Jacuzzies are simply a regular bath tub with water or air jets. (At least that is how I understand the difference.) Fresh water every time.

Maybe try sending them a pm through this site. Being an active member with a post history may carry some weight. Maybe not. I have heard that they don't often accept new clients these days though. Good luck and looking forward to your report ;)

I always assume that the age stated is 'give or take' a few years. That's the nature of the beast. When they list 18 as the age, then you can't afford to risk that it's a 'take a few'. No court is going to care that she said so in her ad.... Best not to cut it so close.

This one also had an ad placed here by Body Language. https://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=251155 I found it odd as it is not their usual M.O. (non-pro photos) and she also isn't listed on their web site as one of their ladies. I have had great experiences through them though so likely legit. Just a bit out of the ordinary for them, and odd that she has the other 2 ads.

There are many reasons for the stigma to persist as have been mentioned here several times. The truth of the matter is that there are many reasons that ladies get into this profession. Sometimes it really is a lack of any other options. Here is a quote from a bp ad that is currently running in Halifax: "ive never done this before and its quit emberassing for me . Im clean , dont drink , dont smoke or do drugs . Im like the girl next door !! Pretty girl with nice curves big boobs ! Unfortunately with this world it revolves money .. which is the root of all evil . And i cant let my kids suffer ! " I am not posting this to try to shame her here. I have a lot respect for people who will do whatever it takes to care for their kids. I'm just pointing out that the industry isn't always as rosy as we like to think. This person is simply being honest about it. That being said, when I started following this site, many of my own preconceived notions were broken. I started reading posts from highly intelligent, often well educated ladies who seemed to be here because they loved the work and the freedoms it gave them. This certainly didn't fit the stereotype. This is the end of the business that many don't see or often even realize exists. One big reason for that?.... Most of us gents are only willing or able to go so far to explain it to them. I've caught myself arguing a bit too hard with acquaintances over some stereotypical ideas they had. I stopped myself, added the words "or so I've read..." to the thought and moved on. My own need for discretion only allows me to go so far I'm very sorry to say. When you deal in an industry where secrecy and discretion are so important, outsiders are left relying on the only sources of information they actually do get: Movies, TV, News, etc. We all know how unbiased those sources are.

I agree that you need to keep your distance as long as she is using, for your own sake. You can offer her your friendship and support if or when the time comes that she wants to get clean. The fact that you come from a genuine position of understanding in this gives it sincerity. It won't come off as preachy as you have actually been there. There isn't much more you can do for her though until she is ready for help. Maybe the offer of support will make a difference. If not today, then down the road when she is ready. Knowing she isn't alone in it may one day give her the strength. Best of luck Mikey

Great post Leviathan. Very informative. All of this is news to me. I wasn't aware that there were different ads showing depending on how you sort them. Seems like sorting by "date" shows all of the ads, while sorting by "top" (the default) gives you less. Sorting by "gallery" gives even fewer still (presumably because they are paid ads if I understand you). I have always sorted by gallery because hey, I'm visual. I recognize photos and determine very quickly if it's an ad I've seen before. (A system Leviathan also alluded to.) I always assumed that all of the ads would be there regardless of how they were sorted. I know differently now but I doubt most people do. I assume most people view the way I did, which might explain your slow spell. Honestly I don't think I had ever seen your bp ads. (I would have remembered them ;) ) You may want to seek the advice of other sp's who use bp to fully understand the ins and outs of best ways to get your ad seen. Interesting questions, but I think that you will find somewhat biased (and predictable) results based on your choice of demographic for this particular survey. Most who are opposed to the idea of this industry do not likely frequent this site. If you surveyed the congregation of a Baptist Church however, your results would likely be quite different than they will be here ;)

Thank you everyone for the Birthday wishes. Unfortunately I worked most of it. (My suggestion of a 'MikeyDay' national holiday has not yet caught on.) I will make sure to treat myself soon though. I appreciate all of the kind words. You guys are the best ;)

Unfortunately, the way my schedule works, I find booking too far in advance difficult. I rarely know when my "free times" are going to pop up. That means many of my encounters fall into the short notice request category. (Yes, I'm one of those guys, sorry ;) ) I always ask politely and assume responsibility when it is not possible, but I always figure it's better to ask then assume the no. Often it can be accommodated.

I had the great pleasure of meeting this wonderful lady this afternoon. She is a beautiful Latina girl. She has an amazing body and a very pretty face. Her deep brown eyes are spectacular. She has a charming personality. Conversations are not forced or difficult. She was quick to put me at ease and I enjoyed my time with her immensely. She is highly skilled at what she does. I could have stayed all afternoon. She is only in town another day or two, but she is well worth a visit while she is here. Hopefully she will return at some point. Thank you Daniella. It was truly a pleasure.

I can see how legitimate sp's would end up there, with the amount of BS they have to deal with. They waste a ton of time on no shows and last minute cancellations. It must be particularly hard for traveling girls who base their trip around the pre-bookings. I've also heard that it isn't always us inconsiderate arsehole men who are behind it. That sometimes rivalry and cattiness among other sp's can lead to intentional false bookings. That said, although I sympathize, I would still only consider it with someone I had seen before or someone with an established reputation. There are too many scammers out there. Most of those ads are likely just some dude ripping off photos from the web, creating ads across the country and filling his bank account from his easy chair. No thanks.

I read, use and highly appreciate recco's. Yes, of course YMMV. Not everyone is going to have the same experience. It does tell you that the girl is real, not a scammer, and gives some idea of the type of experience to expect. I also have gotten to know some of the posters tastes which gives the recco from them more weight. There are a few members who I've learned to trust them when they give thumbs up, and that it's worth listening to. I have had many great experiences that I might not have if not for the recco of other members. I totally disagree with that statement. I'm here to find the good experiences. Not the bad ones. There are many sites that will help you find those. Not sure why you'd want to though. Just my thoughts

This is a difficult topic as there are good points on both sides. I can see how it escalated so quickly though. I saw it coming with a cringe when I read the original post. That is why I avoided weighing in at first. Sadly, that isn't in my nature. ;) I always disagree with any perspective that tries to paint whole groups with the same brush based on a small sample. It's not only discriminatory, but it is simply bad science. Also, the 'if she does this, she is likely that' approach can only be opinion and are likely to be just wrong. It is also easily disproved by pointing out the many times it is incorrect, as we have seen already. But........ (and I always get myself in hot water when I add that word to a post ;) ) There is a serious topic that he has brought up, that should be acknowledged by anyone involved in this industry here. I don't know the statistics on how common drug abuse and exploitation is, and the incomplete article that was posted here is the closest I've seen to anyone even attempting to find out. I will say that it seems as if there is a greater than average problem with it here in HRM, and particularly lately. (And I could go on for hours on how this can all be traced back to Harper and MacKay's quest to legislate their religious morals and drive the industry underground, but that is a topic for another post.) On bp, there seem to be an increasing number of young girls who pop up for short periods and then disappear, often posted from accounts that post multiple different yet similar listings. They normally advertise being 18-20 years old (real ages often exaggerated from both directions, which is another reason for great concern). Drugs are often a means for their 'managers' to both lure and control these young ladies. It is a real issue and likely more common in this city than many realize. I do believe Leviathan when he states that this has been his personal experience. That said, assuming that the whole group can be painted with the same brush based on this experience is wrong, particularly when stating that opinion here on this site, where the majority of ladies do not fit that profile. I say that not to imply that this is a superior site and that we are above that sort of thing. It is simply the nature of this type of site. Short term ads for quick payoff are much more effective and lucrative in places like bp. Ladies that are attracted to this site (at least the ones that stay) typically are interested in building a business based on establishing a reputation and a presence. It's a slow approach that takes time and dedication. The ones who need a quick payoff and don't care about reputation often move along from this site quickly. (Again, a generalization of my own for which I apologize, but this has been my observation.) I really don't know how prevalent this sort of thing is, but it is definitely there. We should all acknowledge that and do our best not to knowingly support any type of exploitation. It's easy to do if you are paying attention. There are so many great ladies around that are obviously not in that category. Just some food for thought.
