Well said. I agree that people should not be judged on such things. I've known highly intelligent and articulate people with little formal education, and I've also known highly educated people who could not carry a conversation. Letters after a name mean very little to me in my personal life. As far as prejudging in the sp profession goes, I have to admit that I was probably a bit guilty of this in the beginning myself. Hey, I only had TV to go by and that's never wrong right? One of the first things I noticed way back when I found this site was that there were many very intelligent, articulate and insightful posts from some very interesting ladies. Some of whom who were quite highly educated I might add. (Again, not that the formal education matters, but it just helped to shatter all of my preconceived notions.) Thanks for the great (intelligent, articulate and insightful) post.

I normally try to post reccos when I have enjoyed myself. I feel it is my way to help the lady out with her business when deserving, as well as to give back to the other gents, and to this site for all of the helpful information I have been given over the years. Communities like this are give and take. It's only right that I give back when I can. If everyone was here simply to get information and not share their own experiences, it wouldn't be much of a site. Nobody would win.

While men seeing women is by far the most common situation on the site, there are female hobbiests here, and some of them active posters. (I'll let them identify themselves if they like though.) All perspectives are welcome here. Welcome to the board! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Pushing 6'4" myself so I've never been with a taller woman. I've have been with some rather petite ones though. The height difference can be a lot of fun. Challenging if you are into standing positions, although if you can always pick them up! The possibilities are endless.

As painful as it is, it sounds like you have already made your decision. Life is full of bad timing situations, and often we have to live with that. Now you just need the strength to stick to your decision. Staying "good friends" with either of them is not going to help you to achieve it.
