Contoversy. Should PM rethink refugee promise?
Mikeyboy replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
International aid only helps when they have a place to exist. Sending them back to Syria is a death sentence. They need us. Now. I don't understand how opening or homes to families with children who are in danger of dying is putting us at risk, unless you believe that all Muslims, or all Syrians must be terrorists. Again the "racist card" but I can't see it any other way. Real people, real families, real children need or help. Now. -
Contoversy. Should PM rethink refugee promise?

These are families with children who need our help, fleeing the very people we are all afraid of. The Canada I grew up with would not turn their back on them out of fear. I know the world has changed, but we have to keep our humanity. Don't let the terrorists win. Don't let fear change who we are. How can we stand up in solidarity against their victims in France, yet turn our backs on their victims in Syria? I believe that Canadians deep down are good people who will stand up for the people who need us most. I really hope I am not wrong for all of our sakes. -

I've developed a new litmus test for analyzing my opinions on world affairs. It goes something like this: Step 1: Form opinion. Step 2: Ask myself the question "Would Donald Trump agree with me?" Step 3: Analysis: If no, carry on. Opinion may be valid. Continue to analyze new data and in the event of a change in opinion, restart process. If yes, I am likely being a small minded racist. Reform opinion and proceed. Feel free to use this with your own opinions if you find it helpful. ;) -
I'm with you on that. Girls on bikes are incredibly sexy. Another simple thing I find sexy is watching a woman brush her hair. I've always found the neck to be a very sexy and sensual part of a woman which likely part of it. I could watch for hours except that the neck seems to be begging for a kiss. .....

Smartphone etiquette....

I'm probably "old school" but I think it's rude in any social situation to be pulling out the phone all the time. (A pet peeve of mine actually. ) In an encounter as intimate as this, it's even worse. I like to get lost in the fantasy of the moment. To feel that I am the most important thing right here and now. Checking the phone every time it makes a noise drastically takes away from that illusion. -

It disgusts me the things that some can justify in the name of religion. I don't care which god you believe in, that ain't what he or she meant. -

I decided on a whim to contact Sophie Lee after seeing her ads, and in particular her photos. I am so glad I did. She is in town from Montreal for a short visit. She replied promptly to my emails. No problem at all setting up our date. The location was clean, easy to find and centrally located. Parking was not an issue either. She greeted me at the door, wearing a sexy blue negligee (my request) and Wow!; What a strikingly beautiful lady. Candles were lit, and the mood was set. She is quite tall (The heals added to the effect) which being tall myself just made me melt. Legs for miles, and a beautiful face. Everything in between is spectacular too. I won't go into too many other details except that she is quite fit and quite flexible. Those years in gymnastics were not wasted ;) She is bright and outgoing, well spoken and easy to talk to. She put me instantly at ease. I could have spent the whole day with her, but alas I had to pry myself out of there. Thank you Sophie for brightening up my day. I'll be keeping an eye out for your return.

Smooth peanut butter of course. Preferably surrounded by chocolate in cup form but great on toast too! Mustard or mayo on a coldcut sandwich?
