when a lady decides .....
Mikeyboy replied to Miss Jessica Lee's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Well said Steve. I can understand the desire to know "why" in these circumstances, as it is a form of rejection. (Our egos are more fragile than we big strong men let on at times.) If nothing else, I would want to avoid whatever behavior made her uncomfortable for future interactions with other sp's. Giving the person the reasons however, would likely lead to them getting defensive and trying to argue the points. I can see why it is best to stick with the "not a good fit" approach and leave it at that. Gents, accept it and move on. Arguing will likely only confirm her suspicions, not change them. I am surprised and sorry to hear how extreme the behaviors can be, and that it is getting worse not better. I assumed that we were moving into more respectful and understanding times. I guess cerb tends to shelter me from the less pleasant sides of the business. You ladies have my deepest respect. I know it is not always easy doing what you do. -
Bartering in Our Community - Ethical or No?
Mikeyboy replied to Layah's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I don't think the intention of this thread and that are the same. Sure some negotiation would be involved with a barter system, but not in the way the other question was asked. That had to do with haggling down prices, which is down right insulting in my book. That implies a hobbiest looked at a posted rate and asking for a lesser price. Bartering simply implies alternative means of compensation than money that is agreed upon by both parties. So what if an sp posted in an ad saying: my rate is x $, however "if you're a mechanic, I'm having trouble getting my engine revving", or "if you know about roofing, I'm getting wet in all the wrong places", would there be an issue with that? Obviously it would have to be agreed upon by both. Showing up with a vase that you figure is worth a certain amount would not be cool if she is expecting cash. But otherwise, why not? Modern currency is merely a means to standardize transactions and ultimately, make them fairly taxable. I don't see an issue if it is good for both and agreed upon. It may however open doors for the other type of haggling mentioned above. Edit: sorry, meant to quote rg's original post. Stupid smart phones. ;) -
She is a member here: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/member.php?u=69848 I have not yet had the pleasure, but the name has come up in a few of the "squirting" discussions. I'm intrigued.... ;)

Here's a non-hobby related (yet still service related) question that I was hoping for some opinions on. I know it doesn't really relate to the site, but I figure I might get a good cross section of opinions. Lately I have eating a lot of take-out food. I'm not just talking about the pizza joint, etc., but actual restaurants like the local Italian, Thai or Sushi place. What are the normal expectations regarding tipping when you pick up your food. I have no problem with tipping well for good service when I actually eat in the restaurant. Someone waits on me, brings my food, pours my wine, and ensures my every comfort. In fact, I often tip better than the norm. Hey I'm Canadian. I once showed my extreme displeasure with the service by only tipping 15% to the penny. Take that! Somehow it seems excessive to me to be expected to tip by the same standards when all they have done hand you your bag and rung you through. I don't want to seem cheap, but 15-20% on bill that can be upwards of one or two hundred bucks (if I'm picking up for a group of people) seems like a lot since they haven't really done much. So, what is the normal expectation? Tip as if you were eating there? Tip a few token bucks? I'm just never sure what the expectation is at that awkward point when the Visa machine asks "Add Tip?" Thoughts?

Glad to see you take the high road, as tempting as it can sometimes be to do otherwise. Sorry to hear that things have not been going smoothly as of late, but you are exiting with class. Your contributions have been appreciated. Good luck to you in the future, Mikey

Maraena Blackwell (Aka Penelope & Angel Starr)
Mikeyboy replied to jackdill's topic in Nova Scotia Recommendations
I had the extreme pleasure of finally meeting Maraena a couple of weeks back. This meeting was a long time in the making. I originally contacted her about 3 years ago. After three different failed attempts to meet her, (no ones fault, life can throw you curve balls at times and it was a bit of a comedy of errors on both of our parts), I moved on. I always suspected however, that I had missed out on something special. A few weeks back I noticed that she was returning to town. I threw caution to the wind, said "fates be damned" and decided to contact her again. I made the appointment, and eagerly awaited the day, half certain that something would come up to prevent it from happening. To my surprise, no global catastrophes or stray Armageddon type meteors came to prevent our date. I went to her conveniently located hotel where we finally met. I was concerned that perhaps I had built her up so much in my mind that she would not be able to live up to it. I am happy to report that I was wrong. She is even more beautiful in person than she is in her pictures. She has spectacular long legs which were emphasised with the heals she was wearing. (I'm rather tall so I was ecstatic to be with someone so tall.) She can very quickly put you at ease. She is a good conversationalist, although it didn't take long for us to lose interest in the small talk. The specific details of our encounter are mine, but I will leave it at this. She is an incredibly sexy lady with a charming personality. Don't be a fool and wait as long as I did ;) . She doesn't seem to come to town very often so watch the announcements and book her when she does come. You won't be disappointed. -
any sp's able to provide this
Mikeyboy replied to hotbull's topic in Escort Discussion for Nova Scotia
I believe he was referring to sex in the great outdoors. Free as the wind so to speak. Would require a residence with a private yard. Some of my most memorable sexual experiences have been outdoors. May be tricky to find with an sp though. -
My compliments to all about both the letter, and the thoughtful responses. I do believe that it is important to point out that the overwhelming majority in this industry are there by choice and that most do not fall into the category of "victim" that MacKay has grouped all of you into. I agree that it is important not to create our own classes, although I don't believe that this was the intention of the letter. I do believe that there are real victims in the industry, such as those who have been trafficked against their will. This is argument that the Conservatives will keep falling back on, even though they know as well as we do that there is nothing in the new legislation to address this beyond what is already in place. It is important however to make it clear that these people are the exception, and not the rule and that the new laws will simply serve to put the rest of you at risk, instead of helping anything. Keep up the good work, and let your voices be heard. Mikey

I think scars can be very sexy. They are a reminder that this is a real human being that you are with. The idea of "perfection" that everyone is supposed to aspire to is an illusion. The only concern that you should have is whether or not a specific mark like that will risk your privacy. If it is a concern for you, then don't show the scar in your ads. Not out of shame, as you are correct that it is a badge of honor. Just do what you need to do to stay comfortable with your risk level. Either way, I don't believe it will negatively impact your business. Good luck with the procedure. Not many of us can count ourselves lucky enough to have such a giving and selfless friend as you. Truly inspiring.

For contract law, there has to be both an offer and acceptance. It has been determined that a price tag on an item does not constitute an offer, but merely an invitation for the potential customer to make an offer. The merchant is not obligated to accept it. Therefore a mistake on a price tag does not legally bind them. (at least this is how it was explained to me many years ago in an intro to business law course). Many retailers will choose to honor small mistakes anyway in the interest of customer service, but that is at there own discretion to my understanding. If there is intent to mislead, there may be grounds for some sort of false advertising complaint, but if it is a mistake, then I think you are out of luck.

I hear you on this. I choose to celebrate the liberal (small l) thinking Canada that I grew up with. The one I have always been proud to be a part of and call my home. I don't know where we are going as a nation but I don't like the path that we are on. Thank you for sharing this. Happy Memorial day to all of my Newfoundland friends, and happy Canada Day to everyone. Mikey

I am deeply concerned about this legislation as well. I don't believe that there will be mass enforcement and sting operations the day it is passed, but the risk level for me will still be very high. Getting "caught" would affect my personal life, my employment, my family, my volunteer positions.... everything. I'm still not sure how it will affect my choice to hobby in the long run. Likely I will take some time off and take a "wait and see" position. I don't like to use the words "forever" or "never", as perspectives can change. I will likely step back for a bit though and wait to see what exactly the fallout will be and how enforcement will be handled. Once again, the Conservatives who like to present themselves as moderates are trying to legislate morality and their own personal beliefs. It seems like they may get away with it this time. What is happening to my country?

MGF Canada has a great reputation and they advertise on this site regularly. I have seen some of their traveling girls personally and would recommend based on that. Top notch organization and ladies. Definitely worth checking out.

Taller? Shorter? What's your preference?
Mikeyboy replied to Miss S. Lane's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I'm 6'4 so I've never been with a girl who was taller than me. Although I love many shapes and forms, I am especially drawn to tall women. Something about long legs..... I can't get enough! Plus, kissing a taller girl is much easier on the neck and back when you are as tall as I am! -
Anyone had the pleasure yet? http://halifax.backpage.com/FemaleEscorts/serena-new-in-town-23/1853601 Passes the tineye test. Any info would be appreciated.
