Childhood & Current Celebrity Crush
Mikeyboy replied to Brad's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Ok, if we go way back, the first crushes I remember were Daisy Duke, and Wilma from Buck Rogers. (Not even sure if I was old enough to understand why I liked to look at them so much ;) ) Later on, I became a bit of a metal head; Lee Aaron (Metal Queen!) and Lita Ford. Now, I guess I'll always be a sucker for Angelina Jolie. I've also got a thing for Halle Berry, although sadly neither have been returning my calls as of late. Fun to imagine though. The young metal head in me is intrigued with Orianthi. Here she is shredding it out with Steve Vai: -

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughtful wishes. Being a milestone birthday, (yes I'm now officially 40), and with all of the events in my life as of late, I've come to appreciate friendship greatly. Thank you all. Your friend, Mikey -
Congratulations. Wow! 6000. Incredible. Keep up the great work.

My 2 cents worth (although with the penny being phased out, I believe that rounds to 0 cents worth?) I prefer hotels to motels, as there is a certain level of class that I associate with that. I also understand the safety concerns of the motel situation for the sp. Most major hotels are easy enough to enter while remaining inconspicuous. I don't really have a preference for location, although the parking problems in downtown are an issue for me. Central Halifax would likely make more sense for me in this regard. (I know, Dartmouth is never an option for most ;) ) As for time of week/day, I'm more of a daytime weekday guy. (Breaks up the work week ;) ) Not sure if I am an anomaly this way though.

Happy birthday R.G. Hope you enjoy it. -
I find that every situation and every lady is different in their expectations when it comes to pms. I try to get to the point and not ask needless questions, as I am aware that their time is limited, and I suspect that they do get a lot of pms and emails on a daily basis. I also suspect that many of these pms are from "tire kickers" who just like to pm, so I am careful not to come off as one of these people. Whether you are a tire kicker or not yourself, be aware that they deal with many who are, so you may start getting cold responses if you send too many without the appearance of actually planning to make a date. This approach has usually served me well, although recently I pm'd a lovely lady for some basic details on an encounter, and I feel I may have been little too "to the point" in my inital contact. I think I may have offended her a bit at first, which I quickly smoothed over as best I could and had many flirtatious pms with before making an actual date. So as I said, each situation is different, but simply be aware that their time is limited and valuable, and also that you are likely not the only pm that they are responding to that day. Be respectful of them as well as their time and you should do well.

Well, my mother has finally reached the final stages of her long fought battle with cancer. I've been sitting on watch for the inevitable for the past couple of days. Coming to grips with it is harder than I imagined, even though we had a couple of years to prepare ourselves. Things that suck?...... Cancer. And, well mortality in general. Seeing someone you love wither away. To those of you who have lost loved ones to this horrible disease, or are faced with the prospect of doing so, you have my deepest sympathy.

Amsterdam's 2 oldest working girls!

punn intended? ;-) -
This is different from novelty or shock value ideas. There is a tradition of this in some cultures not to mention other species. It is one of the most concentrated forms of nutrient you will find, which makes sense when you think about what it was designed for. I have seen recipes for it, including a spaghetti sauce once. Not sure if I could eat it myself but it isn't as unheard of as you might think.

Happy birthday spud! Hope you had a great one.

Well, I'm a taurus, born I'm the year of the ox if you follow the chinese calendar. I guess I'm meant to be some sort of bovine animal...... or maybe I was simply destined to be horny?

I've been riding for a lot of years and I'm still a lousy passenger! Its completely different when you are in control. Best feeling in the world. As for my fears, I do have height issues. My buddies want to try sky diving. I really want to try it. The ultimate head on challenge to my phobias. I'm just concerned that I'll get up there and not be able to go through with it. The ultimate humiliation. ;-)

Things that make you go hmmm?

Why do all sets of instructions start by telling you how important it is that you read the instructions? What the heck do they think I am doing? -
I have to agree with Boomer. I don't condone what these men did. It is clearly illegal and it is illegal for very good reasons. There is questionable judgment at this age, and these girls should wait until they are old enough to fully understand all of the implications of the decision. Not sure if 18 is even old enough for that. I still thought I knew everything at 18 and it took a lot of time to realize how wrong I was. That being said, lumping these men in with men who commit what in my opinion is one of the most heinous of crimes, sexually abusing defenseless young children, does a disservice to the term and perhaps lessens its impact by using it too broadly. I know we are talking semantics here, but that is just my opinion. I also find it disturbing that LE is taking this "sting" approach, but again, if they keep their sights set on the guys who are seeking underage girls, then I have no issues with that. I just hope that they don't use their success here as an excuse to start cracking down on men seeking in-call locations for example, which are still technically illegal. Likely not worth their time and perhaps I worry too easily, but one has to at times when there is so much at stake. Just my thoughts.
