Happy New Year everyone! Rang mine in a day early! (Patience was never my strong suit!)
-
Sorry. I missed that. The "New User" tag through me off. Just trying to keep things positive. I just don't think it is up to us to judge what is too much for an SP to charge, except by with or hobbying choices. Let the "free hand of Adam Smith" decide that. It is a free market economy after all. Best of the new year to everyone! Mikey

Super Heros Who Wear Capes
Mikeyboy replied to Jabba's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Lets not forget my first favourite caped super hero. Super Grover! -
Welcome to Cerb Bigbirdofprey. This is a wonderful place to discuss anything as long as it is done so with respect to members. I would caution you to read the rules with particular attention to the golden rule of "if you don't have something nice to say, best say nothing". It has served us well as a community in the past and has helped make this a wonderful place. Again, welcome and hope you enjoy Cerb as much as I do.

Great advice RG and great post Doc. Seems a fitting time of year to look at new beginnings. Lets make 2012 a fun and postive year for CERB. Happy New Year everyone. Looking forward to all that 2012 brings. -
True to his word, Hard has already posted a review in the Halifax Section on Dec 24th: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=75280

Questions: Leftovers!!!
Mikeyboy replied to DixonD's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Chili is great too. I put the leftovers in single serving containers and freeze them. Great meal in a pinch. The Yves "veggie ground round" works well in this if you are cooking for vegetarians too. Hard to tell the difference. -

vegitarians, please help
Mikeyboy replied to JuliasUndies's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Pastas are always a great and easy choice. It is important to establish before hand when cooking for vegetarians however what their specific personal choices are. For example, I have a friend who is a vegetarian who will eat dairy and cheeses as long as the cheese does not contain rennet or lipase, which are animal products. Cheeses hardened with bacterial cultures and microbial enzymes are fine for him. If eggs are out, you will need to find egg free pastas. -
For me, it's about knowing that I am not alone out there. I am not some sort of sexual deviant for having normal human desires for companionship and well....sex. There are thousands of "normal" like minded people out there with similar interests who aren't afraid to talk about it, even if it is in this somewhat anonymous setting. I also like staying informed about all of the current issues that pertain to this hobby. Cerb has also helped me to see the sp's as "real" people with the same wants, needs, likes, dislikes, desires, etc as everyone else. Thanks to everyone for making CERB such a great place.

New Years & The Hobby

Unfortunately I'll be behaving myself. Got to keep up my "good boy" persona with friends and family. Looking forward to more play time in the new year though. Enjoy the holidays everyone. -
One down, four to go, hard. Welcome to cerb! Enjoy.

All the best to everyone!

My 5000th and last Post
Mikeyboy replied to PistolPete's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Sorry to hear this Pete. Your contributions will be missed. Not just for the volume of contributions but also for your willingness to speak your mind (and occasionally "stir the pot" if it needs stirring.) Everyone should always feel welcome to voice their opinions here as long as they respect the other members. Good luck in future endeavors. -
I believe this was one of the places I had called while staying in Fredericton. Don't recall specifics but it was legit. These agencies do have their place. Sometimes you don't have time to plan ahead while travelling and someone can come see you at the drop of a hat, 24/7. I've had good and bad experiences with this type of agency. Always comes down to the sp they send.

CERB's Got Talent!
Mikeyboy replied to Alexandra-Sky's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Always loved the guitar (which is probably obvious). I very much consider myself an amateur although I used to play and sing in a couple of different bands in university. I do miss those days.... -
Question about agencies...

Opinion Needed: Was this a genuine "come on"?
Mikeyboy replied to drlove's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Sounds to me like you are actually more interested in Holly anyway. We all like the idea of arm candy, but if you have something real going with Holly, then go for it. You now have 3-5 weeks before you need another hair cut to see where things go. Back burner this for now. (I should point out before taking any advice from me that my track record with reading women is ....well less than perfect. The only thing predictable about women is their unpredictability.) -
Well said WIT (as usual!)
