I agree with your gut on this one Stevecurious. This isn't a place for public bashing. I just hope that the offending sp is a member of cerb so that they have seen the thread. Most of the lady's here seem to understand that this was inappropriate. (and if they didn't before than you have given them something to think about at least).

I would have thought that this was the "golden rule" for independants. We are required to take a leap of faith by calling from an unblocked number. We are trusting that they are both who they say they are, and that the number won't ever be used other than at specified times. I would have assumed that the importance of developing that trust would be understood by all. I hope that these were isolated incidents.

This isn't an issue for me as I severed my account years ago. (She's a chronic spender and I had to make sure the bill payments went through ;-)) This post came to mind however when I was buying groceries last night. The cashier asked if I wanted any cash back with my debit purchase. It occured to me that if I wanted to take cash from my account that didn't show up on the statement, I could pad every purchase I made with some cash back. Most places will do this, and it is even a prompt that comes up on most self searve checkouts. Just a thought. Hope it helps. M

Here is a story that had me a little "wigged out". I was in Fredericton last week. I was disappointed to see that the new phone book no longer listed Savanna's which has been one of my faves. It had a new listing that looked similar to Savanas old ad. I tried to call and it went to an automated voicemail with no name given. I didn't think much of it so I called a different #. I met with an sp and before she left, she informed me that her boss was warning people to be carefull as there is a new listing (the one I tried to call) that seems to be linked to a lady who is an under cover p.o. (The same one who was responible for a bunch of busts last year posing as a street walker.) She also pointed out another listing (just a listing no ad) that was also supposed to be linked to the same person. This surprised me as I've always had the impression that there was a blind eye turned to this sort of thing. It's out of the public eye and I'm not even sure what the legal implications are. (Any thoughts anyone????) I havn't mentioned the names of the 2 places as it has also occured to me that there is a possibility that this is either misinformation or even sabotage of new competition. (pm me if anyone needs to know though). Any additional info on this would be appreciated.

I've been thinking of giving her a call. She looks amazing. I see she's out of town this weekend. Maybe another time. Thanks for the recommendation.

I called Savanna's last time I was in town. Met with a young girl (21 ish) who went by the name Amber. She was originally from Toronto. It was one of my better Fredericton experiences, although she had a thing about having her breasts touched. (Ultra sensitive or something...an unfortunate affliction for someone in her chosen profesion.) She was smart and I enjoyed it. I'll probably call that # again next time, as I had less luck with other numbers. (Can't remember the names of the other places.) It would be nice to have some idea who was going to show up when you called though.

I'm visiting Fredericton on Business in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone has any tips for a good sp. I've tried calling a couple of places in the phone book on previous trips with mixed results. Has anyone had any experience there?

Sad indeed. I guess GMC's infamous neon "OPEN" sign has dimmed for good...

I unfortunately only discovered GMC a couple of weeks before they closed. It's a shame. It was so civilized. I was given my choice of 2 very attractive women. (I got to choose after they left the room to avoid any awkwardness). Very clean rooms. Great set up. What I liked best was that you could drop by on a whim or if you ended up with a free hour. (Or on the way home if you struck out at the bar!) No appointments necessary. I too would be interrested in finding another place like this, but have had no luck. :cry:
