Wish I knew this as well. Previous reports re her plans for January have left me somewhat unsure. LTL reported that he spoke to her last December and she told him she'd be around until "mid January" and then go on vacation for a while but then Bridgette suggested that Saturday Dec. 28th would be the last Sat. (possibly) to see her before "she goes away for a while." So I'm left wondering if she'll be back soon or has just started a 2 or 3 week hiatus. Might drop in later in the week to find out.

Has anyone seen tall, blonde Annika in the club lately? Saw her one afternoon in late 2013 but not during more recent visits. Wondering if she's still a regular or if she's no longer at the 'Mate.

That was actually the very first post of the 'Barb's' thread which is apparently at No. 2 in the rankings and quickly approaching one quarter million views - and rightfully so. My thanks to all the contributors and to the thread-starter Cato. Here's hoping the 'Barb's' thread will continue to be active, entertaining and informative in the New Year.

Thread has gone quiet for a couple of weeks. If anyone has been in recently, intel on the current situation at Barb's would be very much appreciated. Could not drop by last week and as a result have been unable to post any reports re recent happenings so feel as if I haven't been contributing much lately - always seem to be asking for info, but hope to stop by soon (maybe tomorrow or Saturday). Always interested to read reports on recent visits, especially re Jenny sightings or info re her schedule/vacation plans.

Sporadic is definitely the appropriate word. Until recently, Jenny seemed to be in fairly regularly on Saturday afternoon, but in the past she seemed to rarely appear then. Whenever I've commented on a "rare" Saturday appearance, she'd seem to start showing up many Saturdays....and then not. As noted (and in my experience) Wednesday to Friday is the best time to see her, but Mondays are not entirely out of the question for a Jenny sighting. Always interested to read about sightings or info re her vacation/schedule and my thanks to those who have posted regarding this.

No doubt this is all true. For those who are able, I'd suggest a weekday afternoon or Saturday afternoon visit. On many weekdays the CR is not that crowded and a good deal of privacy may be had, although Thursdays and Fridays can be busier than other weekdays. Saturday afternoons can seem a bit slow, but if an ATF dancer (say Jenny or Ariel) is in, it can be the best of all possible worlds - relatively empty CR, no visits "every couple of minutes" and not as much of a wait if you have a particular fave dancer in your sights. Just my view though - I know some clubgoers prefer the more active evening atmosphere.

Not to be argumentative here, but I do have a vague recollection of something called "The Body Shop" on Richmond Rd. along what would now be the prime Westboro commercial area, west of Churchill. This would have been, I think, back in the 70s. It could have been a 'massage parlour', but I'm pretty sure it was a 'cabaret' of some kind.

Recall the "long bench" room but seem to remember small partitions along the length of it, but it may have been entirely open for a while before the tiny partitions were installed. The other CR at that time (and I think it was the only one prior to the opening of the "long bench" room) was, and this seems unthinkable now, a fairly small, more or less square room with benches on all four sides. When busy it could seem quite crowded, although I was never very comfortable with more than one other dancer in there. Things certainly have changed at Barb's but I can recall that era. Wow, am I old.

Stopped by Barb's Saturday afternoon (8/17) and was a bit surprised to see my ATF Barb's dancer in the house. In the past, I've tended to think black outfits most flattered her, but during her first turn on stage (and earlier 'on the floor') Jenny looked stunning in an all white two-piece with the top consisting of a shortened t-shirt seemingly ripped at the hem and tied at the back giving a very tight fitting look up front. Simply gorgeous!

Probably a good idea. I dropped in briefly and was rewarded with a (somewhat) rare Saturday sighting of the always exquisite Jenny and I have to say I've never seen her looking better onstage.

Does anyone know the name of the tall blonde with full lips (sometimes wearing a 'sparkly' dress) ? I'm not sure if she's ever on evenings - I've only seen her during the afternoon.

Thanks for the responses guys! Guess she was still on vacation last week but it seems as if she's back now. Typically I'll look for her Wed. - Fri. but, as noted above, Mon. can also be a possibility. Thanks again for the info.

Agree Skidman! Last time I dropped in hoping for a Jenny sighting, I noticed the very lovely Brennan (just watching her walk is nice) and the very busty Adria (just a gorgeous natural pair). Both were new to me and, to my mind, both are very welcome additions to the afternoon scene at Barb's.

Perhaps I'm guilty of taking too indirect an approach in these situations, but I'm hesitant to be too blunt. In almost all cases, if I tell a dancer that I have to "relax for a while" or "I'm not sure if I'm staying long", she'll suggest I approach her later if/when I'm ready and leave it at that. Barb's in particular tends to have a fairly laid-back atmosphere in this regard, so perhaps that is why the rare exceptions tend to be so noticeable. Your more straightforward (but still polite) approach may be preferable in some situations, whiteman.

Dropped in to 340 on Tuesday afternoon (6/4) around 1:00 and found things somewhat quiet. Recognized only Bridgette and Claire from (not so) recent visits, although Lexy and Courtney seemed vaguely familiar as well. In keeping with the general ethos of the site, I like to keep my comments as positive as possible but I did find one dancer rather aggressive and bothersome in a way that I've rarely encountered at Barb's. I refuse to be impolite with dancers but in this instance I was pushed very close to my limit of tolerance. The atmosphere was really very quiet by the time I departed just before 2:00 with around 6-8 patrons in attendance. Tuesday can be an 'off-day' for an ATF so I wasn't especially optimistic for a Jenny sighting. As always, any info re sightings or intel re her vacation plans/schedule etc. is appreciated. Apparently she was in last week so maybe she'll be around later in the week. I've found Thursdays and Fridays the best days to see her in the club, but have encountered her on a Monday and she can be seen on the occasional Saturday as well, I'm told.

Jenny's been away for so long that I guess it's not too surprising that she will be "fully occupied". Even when she's really busy, it's still great to see her on stage. Suppose some of us will have to be prepared to be patient.
