Found Barb's a bit quiet on Friday afternoon (10/7) as well. There seemed to be a number of dancers who were new (or at least new to me). It took me a while to recognize Zoe as a brunette and in fact it was not a very 'blonde' day at all, to say the least. However, Jayda (Jada?) looked great on stage as did Zoe. It was left to spangle-booted Roxy to carry the banner for blondes. The next couple of posts reminded me that 'uber-red'- haired Claire was in on Friday afternoon. I continue to be astonished by the consistency of Claire's attendance at Barb's. I'm pretty sure that every time I've been in since last April she has been there.

I would tend to agree with this. It's been a while since I was there on Sunday as well but in the past I've found Barb's to be superior to other (local) places on Sundays.

I'm pretty sure it's Kirsten - if I recall correctly she has the name inked near a collarbone.

Perhaps yeahey's post would have been best put in the Ottawa Warnings section but it seems to have been removed in any case. On a positive note, I would add that I've never had any problems of that nature at Barb's, but then I've tended to repeat with my faves in the evening (Savannah, Bianca, Erica) and the afternoon (Jenny).

A very pleasant (if somewhat subdued) Friday afternoon (9/2) at Barb's. There seemed to be quite a few dancers who were not familiar to me but I certainly recognized a few. Jade looked great on stage and Claire seems to be very regularly in the club - in fact I think Claire has been present every time I've been at Barb's this past summer. Malibu was looking stunning and Jenny was as gorgeous and fun as ever.

Thanks for the post Reddog01. Nice to know that Jenny is back - the last time I saw her she told me that she would be away for 2 or 3 weeks. Appreciate the update.

Loanna has all of those characteristics for sure. She is also more than somewhat busty.

Sounds like it was a great evening Cato! One of the aspects of Barb's that I've always liked is that Monday or even Sunday night can be just great there. Sunday to Tuesday nights are sometimes a bit slow at many clubs but, even though it may not be as busy as Fri. and Sat., I've often found that early-in-the-week visits to Barb's are more than worthwhile. Thanks for reporting on your Barb's adventures.

At Barb's - Sonia, Crystal, Jade and, of course, the lovely Jenny. Also, Cato's recent post in the 'Barb's' thread reminded me of Zoe (Zoey?) and as well of another lovely new (at least to me) blonde at Barb's, Kirsten.

Saw (and chatted briefly with) Malibu at Barb's in the afternoon about two weeks ago.

I've seen Maude (she pronounces her name "mode") both evenings and afternoons but more often in the evenings at Barb's.

Yes, I believe there was a shooting at the 'Den some time ago when the assailants had been ejected from the club and then came back to attack the bouncer/doorman. That is my recollection of the event. Regarding the Ottawa Citizen article referenced in an earlier post, I wonder what others think of the Citizen publishing two pictures of an "employee". I'm not familiar with standard journalistic practice/ethics in this regard but I wonder if these photos were really all that pertinent to reporting this story.

Always been told (never been there myself) that Pigale (or 'Big Al's' as some Anglos may refer to it) can be very busy to the point of craziness on Fri. and Sat. nights and this post would seem to confirm that rather strongly. Also been told that on these nights there are many blonde, busty, tattooed dancers but S_A seems to suggest that (at least on this occasion) spinners were predominant. Maybe it's best for some of us calmer types to forgo adventuring to the Sixth Republic and remain on the Ottawa side of the river.

Yes Reddog01, Jenny apparently was managing rather well without any attention from either of us. Her appearance on stage was very welcome but she spent most of the rest of the afternoon (at least from 2:30 to 5-ish) with two of her many admirers. These were both, at least by my humble standards, truly epic CR sessions. In both cases, I wondered if she would emerge before sundown. On an upbeat note, it's always nice to see the dancers who are great on stage (e.g. Jenny, Sonia, Jade) "doing well."

Stopped into Barb's on Friday afternoon (8/5) and ended up staying for a while. After many previous attempts my patience was (partly) rewarded with a sighting of the exquisite Jenny. Although I was unable to have any dances, it was great to see her on stage. Tried very patiently to wait for an opportunity but it was not to be. She was extensively occupied for most of the afternoon. My quest for a Jenny encounter continues. Sonia was looking stunning as always and Jade unexpectedly was present and as gorgeous as ever. One lucky guy had a Jade/Sonia duo. Now that must have been fun.

Yes, I second this. All readers of this thread owe Cato a big thank-you for his updates/reports on the situation at Barb's.

I certainly can't say for sure re most of these ladies but I've seen Sonia at Barb's in the afternoons, and Bridgette and Crystal as well. Ariel too I think. Jade told me she is a Mon-Wed daytime dancer. Sorry I can't be more helpful regarding the others.

Sonia and Jenny in the club at the same time! Wow!! A nice afternoon at Barb's for sure!!! I've noticed the lovely Crystal as well - a very beautiful look. Wait a sec.... if it was a Wednesday, Jade was probably there too! Crystal, Jade (maybe), Sonia and Jenny!!!! Cato has all the luck - it's just not fair!!!!!

"At Barb's there is......" If this lady starts around 5 weekdays, it may be you are referring to Bianca? Tall, blonde and quite curvy with amazing legs, Bianca is a long-time gem at Barb's.

Guess I'm of two minds about this. On the one hand I understand about the sense of adventure and not knowing how things will turn out but feeling the anticipation - especially with a new dancer. On the other hand it can be nice to know what to expect - there's a different kind of anticipation (without the uncertainty) when you see a fave and recall a good experience from the past. If the thrill of the hunt is more your style I suppose you will tend to prefer exploring the possibilities that remain unknown until fully investigated.

Had the chance to have a bit of time with Sonia on Sat (7/9) afternoon and had my initial impressions of her impressively confirmed. She is one of the loveliest and nicest dancers I've spoken to at Barb's since....well...for a while. A true gem at the club.

Sonia did look just stunning today (7/7). I especially liked one of her stage outfits - a kind of super-tight leotard kind of thing, kinda. Whatever it might be called, it certainly accented her amazing curves.
