Just to echo what others have said and from a personal standpoint. I have been 'no showed' on. And I, like you, think I'm not a bad date. But I learned earlier not much point in trying to see someone who clearly demonstrates they don't share the same interest. If a lady replies or an explanation exists...then all is forgiven. Agree with others that I would think most ladies have no problem with this. They are in a service business of making their clients happy. And if this is what you seek...it doesn't seem out of the realm of what they would do. Perhaps it was your approach. I would either go back or select a new lady and try again. Everyone has their own approach to this. I will add one aspect which has worked extremely well for me. PLANNING - I know it doesn't work for everyone but the encounters I've been able to plan well ahead of time are generally better. It allows for any technical glitches or absences so that we have time to initially connect. It presents an opportunity to have some exchange in advance on all business aspects. I think recommendations certainly have their place and frankly mean different things on different boards and also from who provides them. So here is my little take. As a reader: - I certainly looked at them more in general when I first started. I think I had my own personal doubts and wasn't really sure what I wanted or what to expect. - I still use them and in particular if visiting a 'new' city and searching for a new lady to meet. - I've learned that different boards have different styles/cultures of their recommendations so this influences how I read them. - I likely put more stock in my own interactions with a lady or her posts, ads or website than someone else's recommendation. But that has come with experience. As a writer: - I really like writing them when I've had a good experience and feel proud to play a small part if it helps a lady in her business. - I generally see the same ladies (regular) so might not always write one after each encounter but I do think about it and we'll often discuss it. Again if I know it can support her than I want to do that. - The process of writing is creative and sensual as it gives me the opportunity to relive our experience. babyg - many good threads/posts on 3somes. For the FMF encounter and since it is a couple with another F then I completely agree with the previous post. Good communications prior is key. Do some research here looking at posts/pics of ladies and find someone you might both be interested to meet.
