I couldn't agree more with this theme. I have had some amazing experiences, average, and OMG. Absolutely some of the least memorable were with well respected and reviewed SPs. So I've learned to accept it can be me and the connection. Which has led me to learning the value of being a regular with a select few ladies. I have also learned about myself more and do better at identifying women I might be compatable with. (Where was that skill 30 years ago?) Thankfully we have enough different people that we can all find someone we click with. Cub

Sounds like I might be the same vintage as you. And many will say 'oh yeh' but honestly the number for me isn't important. I have and sometimes (not predictable) can do 2 or 3 but that has so much left the criteria of what is a great meeting for me. I often will see a lady over a couple of nights and for longer (2hr) sessions. I try and find ladies who I think I'm compatable with and we might find a connection. This removes so much pressure of the # of orgasms I have. I've actually spent 2hr plus appointments with a lady and never had 1...knowing I would be seeing her the next night and it would be my turn. I've been lucky to meet some great ladies on CERB and made (IMHO) a connection that makes my time with them measured in much more substantive ways than the number of orgasms I have. Now don't get my wrong - I love the feeling. But am much more prepared and comfortable to just let two people explore each other slowly and naturally and see what happens. Cub

I love it all but what catches me eye is likely an overall 'air of confidence'. This translates into personality. So it isn't as much about the physical art but how it is displayed.

Good thread Cato. Let me add my waiting story. Saw this Calgary lady about 8 weeks ago. She is unique and quite special. In part because she makes the waiting fun. The 8 weeks have been filled with some flirty and exciting exchanges as we planned my next trip and our encounter. The arrangement was for her to join me in Banff. Not much better setting. As we get closer to meeting time she only builds the excitement more by providing travel updates until that much anticipated text. "I'm in the lobby". Now not sure which is more difficult? Waiting the past 8 weeks or the next 24 hrs till we meet again. Cub

I have been extremely fortunate to have a relatively easy life. However, like everyone else, I have down days too. What brings me up? Well somewhat similar to others but a little more general - YOUTH. I find inspiration in the excitment, innocence, and positivity of young people. And at all age groups. Some young teens are just so smart and idealistic about the future. I love to be around them, try and share my insights, and guide them if I can. In younger years it is all about being involved and active. At ages 5-13 is really when I believe great human beings are formed. And I can honestly see it in many kids. But infants can literally bring me to tears of joy. I love any excuse to visit a maternity ward. A baby's laugh is probably the best sound in the world. When I need inspiration - find some young people. Cub

Yours I shall reply to. So Erin I think I am like you and love a good intellectual debate. I also highly value people who see things different than I and truly believe we are richer when exposed and open to other points of view. I've also learned with 'age' to be more reflective and calm than I might have been a few years back. Thus many of the recent discussions I have not partaken in. Not because I don't care or have an opinion - I have just learned how to be patient and let things unfold. On a slightly different note I want you to know how attractive a smart and informed woman is. Every time I read one of your posts, whether I agree or not, I am left with this desire to want to know you more. Smart is Sexy. As a guy who hobbies in many Canadian cities I can attest that Wpg is not high on my rankings for quantity and quality of providers. However, these things do also change over time. A few dependable CERB ladies are in Wpg but may not meet specifically what you are looking for. The only other good part to this is that I have noticed many reputable agencies and a few highly regarded independants are touring into Wpg. In the interim the few quality ladies on CERB who are based there or reliable touring ladies are your best bets. IMHO Cub

I must first say that since starting to see SPs I spend much less time at the SCs. However, Bridgette at Barbs is definately drawing me back. Only saw her once but will never forget it. Cub

Julias, I don't think the issue is would I take you up or not. Because so much depends (at least for me) on circumstance, timing, location, etc...as others have said. But the bigger turn on for me would be that you thought about it and wanted it to happen in the first place. Hell I got excited about that notion and I wasn't even the guy. Someone wanting you. Someone pursuing you. Is just so exciting. I may not have been able to make this encounter work...but the fact that you might have thought about me that way....Oh my I would need to see you soon! I'm with Tina. The Delta or Fort Garry. Both downtown, well known, easy access, no elevator key, good restaurant/lounge/bar on-site, both have pool/work out facilities. Fort Garry is old style CP railway hotel quite charming and well maintained. Nice comfy beds. Delta has been well maintained. Has an Elephant & Castle pub in lobby and downtown mall is across the street. To me either are good choices. Humphrey's is a scale down. No restaurant. A little like Holidy Inn Express with so called continental breakfast in the morning. Plus side is it is across the street from Earls and everyone knows about Wpg Earl's Girls. I would go with Delta or Fort Garry. Cub

So many of us have seen some great people through this site. But often you can get to know someone just a little but never actually have a chance to meet. This isn't about who you want to see but who you almost saw. This is about those people who you have come close to meeting but for whatever reason it didn't work out. The good part is there is always tomorrow. My story; - well my first 'almost encounter' came in Regina about 4 years ago. It was before I knew of CERB and had my first hobbying experience. On a business trip and sitting at the bar in my hotel (which is where I'm often found) a lady was sitting a couple of stools over. We struck up a conversation which came quite easy. I didn't connect on who she might be and wasn't really looking. (Didn't have my eyes open yet) A few drinks later and great conversaton I noticed she had eaten all the cashews in the dish in front of her. I offered her some of mine to which she replied; "no man has been so kind in sharing his nuts with her". Ok, if I had any doubts at the moment I knew the potential before me. The conversation got a little more explicit and she said she would like to talk and get to know me a little better but we would need to extend the discussion in my room. Yeh, I bailed - said I had an early morning and headed off. Looking back I was an idiot but it did get me thinking more about the possibilities which some months later...I finally took the plunge. - close encounter 2 is with a travelling lady, like me, who I have wanted to meet since I began this hobby 2 years ago. Unfortunately, Keissy Hennessey and I just haven't been in the same city on the same dates. I've actually come as close as 3 days but it just hasn't happened - yet. I keep thinking some day we'll both be travelling, in the same city, same hotel, and I'll see her in the elevator. Oh my, a cub can dream. - I'll cheat a little from my own purpose of this thread with a close encounter 3 which is a little in the future. I may have an opportunity to visit the East Coast at the end of September. I have long wanted to meet some great Eastern ladies like Angel Starr and Carley Chase. Missed you sex. I truly do get excited about first time encounters with a lady. But for me I tend to be more regular and visit the same ladies when I travel. And sometimes travel circumstances arise where I will have to wait months to see a lady who I've seen a few times and built up a relationship with. And when we do meet I know that it may be some time till our next chance. So I prefer longer encounters where the mood slides back and forth between (animalistic I missed you and need you now) to (I really want to be close and just take in your company).
