Pan Fried. And in keeping with the seafood/fish theme. (at least for a moment) Crab or Lobster?

Hi Jenny. You certainly sound like you have the right attitude and approach to this. And the ladies as always are providing some found advice. From a gents standpoint...yeh it's just wrong. A rare occasion can occur and I can imagine a cancellation is a little better than an outright no show. As has been said it is very disrespectful. And those are likely not situations that would turn into a 'good' date. In 5 years I've never cancelled. I was late once but that is because the plane I was travelling on was delayed and the lady and I stayed in contact by text so she was aware. But I too have been 'no-showed'. 3 times in fact. It does really suck and in all cases those ladies didn't stay in the business long. Hang in there, know it happens, and cherish the great encounters. Cub

Bad experience, what do I do?
Winnipegcub replied to MarkOttMassage's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
That's too bad to hear. Agree with what RG said and will add a couple more: - you didn't mention where you found the lady but that can make a difference. I have found sticking to reputable sites and reading reviews isn't a guarantee but does help increase the chances of a good encounter. Some conversation by chat, email, phone or text can also help determine if a connection and positive experience might be there. - and as the customer you can vote with your future choices. That doesn't give much satisfaction in the short term but from what I have heard is that many of the ladies really value good and long term customers. So the lady you met has lost that opportunity with you. But the next meeting just might bring that connection and the future lady will be grateful for your business. Cub -
From this client's perspective. I generally prefer a lady with independent service. Like the notion of a private lady running her business. Often like to meet a lady when I'm travelling so this often means establishing or getting to know someone in advance and hopefully over time. However, I have traveled to cities and frankly didn't have the time to find someone in advance or been able to connect schedules. So in these cases I'll often turn to a reputable agency in that particular city. Glad they're there and certainly in my particular case...fill a need.

Wow hate...such a strong word. I'm probably the other extreme from some of these posts. I love almost all sports. Watching and playing. Golf is great and well it's coming up to Masters weekend. Basketball, Final Four! Need I say more. And yes I also like tennis and a Prairie boy has to luv curling. The one I wouldn't say hate...just don't get. Cricket. However, it is so fanatic in some parts of the world that I'm also intrigued. I think I'm gonna have to figure it out and then give it a watch. Might take a little longer before I can actually try it. Cub

Checking into a hotel with a bottle of champagne, biscotti and truffles. Hmm...I should come here more often.

How do you handle this?
Winnipegcub replied to 50 Shades Raven's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Miss Raven, I'll never suggest that I should influence how you conduct your business or the business model you use. But as a general rule in the market...when something is offered at a 'discount' or sale price it de-values that for the normal market. I can understand the reasons for wanting to offer a special at a moment in time or on a particular site or in a particular city. But in doing so...you set the market price. And the market/customers don't respond well when the market price varies. It leaves doubt. Which is never good. My suggestion would be if you do offer a 'discount' be very clear on the limits. It's even better if the buyer understand the 'why' or circumstances. Then when they pay what they believe to be a higher price they can rationalize that. IMHO...I wouldn't ever offer discounts. It distorts the customer and market. Says the humble economist. -
Meeting in a hotel bar
Winnipegcub replied to schoolboy48's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
I think this is totally in the realm of something to ask about. As someone who travels often I always think about ladies I meet in bars. One thing to keep in mind if that if arranged...you should be prepared to compensate the lady for her total time with you. PS, many ladies I know I love having a drink and just chatting with. -
Open Air...and Rolling Stones may have been the best. Hot Tub or Sauna?

Well I'll call it a highlight. But first was shitty cause I had a trip set for May which was going to take me to a city which is home to an amazing lady I've been wanting to meet. Circumstances have caused that trip to be cancelled. Damn. But, I need to take another trip in 2 weeks which will bring me to a city that has a great lady I saw for the first time last fall. I've been hoping for the chance to meet her again...and looks like that's gonna happen. That's what happens when my meetings are tied to my travel. One desire in sight and one still an aspiration. Escort for my visit to Ottawa??
Winnipegcub replied to ThisOneWorks's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
You can scan both Ads and Recommendations here. https://www.lyla.com/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=95 That's generally a good start to see who may be around and also read some reviews. Then I would select a lady who seems to align with your interests and follow her suggestions on how to contact her. Every guy has different interests so best to be guided by what you seek. Good luck. what is your drink?
Winnipegcub replied to clearlycanadian7583's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
My drinks of choice depend on mood, food and time of year. But likely is Beer, Wine or Scotch. Not usually on the same night. Haha And I have a lady friend who I really enjoy sharing a bottle of Port with. Cub -

I have a fav lady I've seen many times who has a nasty little habit of this. Hehe. Often in summer when she is wearing a dress. I absolutely love it! The first time I learned of this she mentioned it as we sat on the couch kissing. I found it so sexy. But, the second time and before I realized it was somewhat of a trend, we had been out for dinner. It's a killer when over dinner conversation she softly lets you in on her little circumstance. OMG, I'll never forget that moment. Cub

Tom and I never met but did cross paths on this great forum. We also had a few finer things in common including interests in golf, single malt scotch and some of the same amazing ladies. You can tell what someone gave to the world by the deep sentiments shared from those that knew him well as well as brief encounters. Glad that his end was peaceful and he was surrounded by loved ones in person as well as many who honored him in our thoughts last evening. And with a glass of single malt. Be at peace now. Cub

Well to start with and for those who know me I'm extremely positive. But what really brings a smile to my face. Well so many things but I'll rattle off a quick couple: - spending time with a special lady. - good single malt. - little babies laughing and actually maternity wards. - the human touch (actually stimulating all 5 senses) - forest and mountains. - sleeping and hearing the ocean waves. - fireplace - good cigar - most pets but especially dogs and cats. - travelling - learning Ok that's probably enough.
