I've stayed out of this discussion for a variety of reasons. I live in the economics, industrial, and public policy of this issue. The simple reality is that this is a commodity which is priced in a world context with very complex externalities. Phd papers can describe this but are beyond our simple posts here. The resulting economic and political impacts are very real for Albertans and Canadians. The sun will still come up in the morning and in a few weeks time we'll be back to a more sustainable level. In the meantime consumers will enjoy the relief and the industry can benefit from a streamlining. Alberta Bear

I like many winter activities but perhaps the best is just quiet walks through the woods with my dog. Being in the mountains also adds to the experience when I can get there. The peaceful sounds of the odd bird and if it's lightly snowing even better. Then coming home to a roaring fire and the smell/sound of the wood burning. A glass of single malt...and I'm having a great day.

Well I almost never visit ladies in my own town and only when I travel. So I guess I'll go far to see a lady. I have some ladies who tour that I really enjoy seeing and one in particular so when our travel dates align (once Toronto once Vancouver) I feel so fortunate and blessed. Other ladies I've come to know are local in their city so when I can visit them - it is great.

Packing for the 20+ hr journey back to Canada. Hope I'm still under the weight limit.

Shoe laces. Although at the cost of the shoes...I should get laces for life. Although I usually chuck the shoes when the laces go, just cause I like new shoes. But these ones are relatively new.

For me as it gets close to 'date time' text is it. I pretty much only do this when I travel and so in days/weeks prior, contacting someone is done by the ladies choice. PM, Text, Email. But once I'm on the road and have a date confirmed text is my really only means of communications for both technical and privacy matters. But that is just me. Cub

The boy scout in me says - 'be prepared'. I'm a planner and like to do my research and connect with a lady before hand. So if in your circumstance I guess I would signal and ask about her possible late night availability say on an upcoming weekend. But I would be clear about my approach and accept that she may not be available if I contact her late. Some ladies may be open to this 'notional' booking but be careful not to waste their time. A lady you've previously met and has some trust in you may be better. Last minute bookings can be tricky and I suspect last minute/late night bookings may even be more challenging. So plan and be prepared. Says the cub scout. Haha

Had to relocate a plug in a bathroom re-model. And then change a few other plugs and switches from Almond to White. Guess that's an upgrade. Now chuckling watching my dog have puppy dreams.
