Was watching the football game (Ott/Edm) and having an Iced Tea with a little vodka/rum kick.

I'm with Cleo. About 10% for take out. Maybe a little more getting close to 15% for delivery or buffet. Then 15-20% for full sit down service. Now I go up and down from those amounts based on the overall service. But that's generally my range. It is amazing when you do drop a big tip. Remember once while travelling for fun I went to casino. Won a couple hundred bucks. Next night went to a usual restaurant I go to. Sat at bar and ordered same pizza I usually got and couple beers. Once finished my pizza and ordered another beer the server said, "How was it?" I said "as great as always and I'll have another beer". Then I thought for a moment reached into my pocket and grabbed a $100 bill. When server came by I said; "Please take this to the kitchen and give it to the guys in the back." The head cook came out and was so amazed. The Regional Manager for the chain happened to be in the restaurant and came by too. I finished my third beer and asked for my bill. The server said; You have no bill tonight. And you're welcome to stay as long as you like. WOW!

Wow in challenging situations those with Class really rise to the top. Way to go! I always knew you are of that calibre and you've set the bar for the rest of us gents as we ponder our exits. All the best to you! Cub

Ok, well other than the drooling - I'm not this cute guy. I'm 5'8" and about 185lbs. I would say average build for a gentleman my age >50. But a usual comment is that I look much younger than my age. Certainly not in the physical shape I was when I worked construction in my early 20s but not bad. I have all my hair still (brown) and usually clean shaven unless camping in the mountains, weekends, or other holidays. Also have brown eyes that are very dark. I'm told I have a nice smile and often get comments on my naked bum. (Well at least from the couple who have seen it - haha) I think that is my French/Italian mix of heritage. I am usually well dressed and do like fashion including men's - so might often be seen in a tailored suit/tie with nice shoes. Cub

Certainly the overnight is a great time. Provides you with opportunity in evening, night and morning. And frankly just being in the company of an amazing person for an extended time is pretty nice. But mostly because of timing and simply practical circumstances - my dates are evenings.

Had to fix some wood around my garage door and now just installed some new weather stripping. Ready for winter. Just kidding.

New Suit. Well at least got measured up for another. Now 4-6 weeks till it arrives.

I'm seeing way too many times recently when someone posts something, they get comments back, and then it turns into a great debate. SPs and MAs are professionals that provide a service which has a cost. For us the clients it is their time, intimacy, services and companionship that we buy. That isn't to say that an SP/MA and client would never meet socially or 'off the clock' but it's not nor should be their business model or our expectation. I think of it this way. I pay a lawyer for his/her advice. They get my $ and I get their advice. Would 2 lawyers meet socially? For sure. But should I expect a lawyer to meet with me, provide their advice and I don't pay? I just call it a 'social' meeting? No I'm not sure if I've explained it well but for me - I totally get it and have no problems with the relationships I have. Cub

My opinion is that you wouldn't go wrong with CMJ, Angels, Paradise or an independent. You've made the best first step IMHO and that is starting off on CERB. The agencies and independent ladies who are here are all top class. I doubt you'll be disappointed in the experience. You'll see a slight difference in booking/approach with an independent lady but that is simply because of the business model. Some guys have a preference of one over the other. I would suggest visiting the profiles of the spa ladies and independents to find a woman that interests you. I'm a bit of a 'researcher' and chemistry is important so I'll often look at a ladies posts or maybe connect in the chat room to find someone who I'm not only physically attracted to but, I think we'ld also enjoy each others company. In my case I've seen Sensual Erin and Jessica Massage in Ottawa and would love to see either again. Great read Maraena. And see that is why we admire you and know how smart and intuitive you are. Often the media already has a pre-determined direction they want to take a story and do so with the belief they are going in the direction their buyers/subscriptions want to hear about. Much of media is also driven by business/advertising and unfortunately not researchers and trying to tell a balanced story. The citizens of Truro missed out because of the biased view of their media. It also very much depends on the nature of your first email. Was it to clearly set up a date and did you make that clear and for when? Or was it a more general - hi how are you? With maybe a brief introduction of yourself and a question or two? I don't know the circumstances but it is important to remember that these ladies are professionals. Their time is money and they aren't usually looking for pen pal relationships. As mentioned I would also watch for other activities of the lady I've contacted. So for example if my first message was respectful and clear to set up a date this Friday I would clearly state that and also say that "I'm hoping you can get back to me by this Wednesday as I would very much enjoy meeting you and would like to confirm our time together". And if I saw that she is active on this board or other and advertising I would double check that I have the correct email/phone number and try once more. Then move on. If your contact was more general in nature and didn't have an imminent date then again keep in mind these ladies are busy and they will get back to you. Hope that helps.

Congrats....that is a big milestone and you must be proud. A couple suggestions but they do depend on what their doing next like take some time and travel or begin working and have a job lined up. - a nice watch might be good and you could have it engraved. - portfolio and pen set especially if they'll be in an office environment. Could also consider a nice soft case. Graduate from the back pack but nicer than the hard side old looking briefcase. - clothes are an option. Again especially if transitioning into a work environment that they don't have many clothes for. If you don't want to pick something out you could get them a gift card from a suitable shop. - if travel is an option for a break could always give them aeroplan/airmiles. If you have some yourself you can also transfer them. Hope some of those give you ideas....and enjoy the moment. Cub
