    For those who don't like the actual exchange: put it in an envelope, upon arrival excuse yourself to the rest room and leave it on the counter. The lady can then go and retrieve the donation as she freshens up. I do this with a few guests :)

    Perhaps you could elaborate on your reason for wanting a "tab". Why not pay as you go? If there is a benefit for you to pay in advance, I am sure that most ladies would make this an option. Just curious as to why you would want to proceed in this fashion :)
