I love to create new recipes but the measurements are only written down after a few attempts. Tonight I made the following which we shall call Meg's chilly curry. Diced celery, onion, medium tofu, fresh mango Crumbled toasted walnuts Fat free mayo Fresh ground pepper Curry powder Lettuce Tomato Greek style pita (the kind with no pockets) So, like I said, no measurements just yet but imagine making a chicken salad sandwich. Mix everyting together except lettuce and tomato and then assemble the sanny. I heat the pita in the toaster oven just a bit so that it folds nicely.

I am down with the bacon! I cook up a whole package and stick it in a ziplock. When the mood hits, I grab a slice from the fridge for a salty good snack :)

Well, I never thought this was funny but... Please park in the laneway. I have told numerous people this and they park on the street. I finally asked someone why. He said it's because what I think of as a laneway is known as a driveway here in Ottawa, a laneway would be a street between houses. Who knew? I've lived here since the age of 8 and it seems this is the one eastcoast saying I kept.
