I have often said, there is enough business out there for everyone and if you are not ready to leave the high school drama behind, you are not ready to be in this business. IMO, for every good and stable provider, there are at least 5 who aren't. You sound very well balanced and intelligent. Kudos to you for having the courage to post this. If you leave and never come back, they win IMO, so I think you should persevere. You will come out on top.

I really like the "Sagami" brand from Japan. They are one of the thinnest condoms in the world but yet are the strongest. I am still trying to find a good brand of "larger" sized condoms if anyone has any suggestions?

That's definitely a bad attitude eh? Pimping at it's finest. The kind of people who wouldn't bat an eye if a girl was hurt or killed. They'd just fill her "spot". With that kind of thing going, I can sort of understand why the police and the sytem are very "aggressive" and "uptight" with the industry back east. I couldn't agree more. Women taking advantage of other girls\women in a business that already has it's fair share of predators. Disgusting really IMO. The last thing we should be doing is sending out our "own kind" to hang in the breeze. There are already people who are more than willing to exploit others, especially the young and naive. :cry: I've had a few emails too with no response once my questions get tough. Now, I just delete.....:fes:. (Actually, I seem to remember they were all agencies from back east who were sending me emails for "visiting girls"). If you can do all that, you should open a good reputable agency out there. it sounds like it could really use it. It might also pave the way for this industry being more accepted by society such as other places in the world have adapted to it. I wonder if that's even allowed. I thought we had some kind of law that only a certain % can be charged and anything above that is racketeering? In BC, I beleive the max is 30% that they can take. (I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure :?:). It sounds from what I've read that the agencies back there are getting away with a lot more than they should be allowed to. I do both agency and Indy here in BC. The place I contract out to will charge 180 for the hour. Out of that $65 goes to the agency, ($60 to the agency, $5 tip to the phone girl) and all tips are the girls to keep. If it's an out call, depending on the traveling time involved, there are set fees for the drivers which are added onto the initial cost so regardless the girl gets $115 for the hour. I like doing the Indy thing because I get to keep all my own money but the agency is also nice because they have their own advertising which puts me out there to a much larger base than I would have on my own. There is also security, (where I work anyway), and they will, at all cost, make sure that if something bad is going down, the girls is removed from the situation post haste.:twisted: I can and have turned down calls with the agency I work for and they are totally supportive of that. They also keep a list for each girl of clients they won't see so that the girl doesn't have to deal with it again. (No packing the bags for a guilt trip or anything.;)). Sometimes I like that the office books my calls and takes care of everything. As long as they are keeping up their end I have no problem continuing to pay them. I also don't live in the town that I work out of so the agency having a house for me to use for in calls is great as well. I do find though that the Indy calls are nice too, because there's no "knock on the door" and if you go over a few minutes....oh well....no biggie. I have made friends with both Indy and agency clients and have regulars on both sides of that equation. There is plus and minus to being either Indy, agency or a bit of both. It really all depends on what works for the girl I suppose. Some clients prefer Indy, some prefer agency, some just want a good time and don't care where the girl works as long as they, (the client), leaves satisfied and happy. :boobies:. As for bait and switch, it goes on no matter whether it is Indy or agency and a lot of the time the Indy girls, (out here anyway), are the ones pulling the bullshit scams, bait and switch etc...because there is no "overseer" to make sure they're not. Some agencies are also better than others, it all depends on who you go through. IMO, Just like any business, you've got honest and dishonest, both Indy and agency.

They used come through our neighborhood every Saturday morning like clockwork. I liken them to rabid dogs. They just don't give up. I made the mistake of telling them once that I wasn't interested in any religion that let their children die from medical problems. This is especially hard for me to understand because I have a child with kidney disease and the thought of praying instead of getting him medical attention is unfathomable to me. For weeks after they would come repeatedly to my house during the week as well, trying to "save me and my son". However, it appears that they send these people everywhere, (even the middle of nowhere), because damn if not two weeks after we moved in, a new set of them was at the door trying to pass off their "publications" on us. They actually drive miles into the country to "educate the unwashed masses." Unbelievable. They're like a bad smell........they keep coming back. They are IMO, judgmental, intolerant and seriously misguided. Not a value system I want to follow at all. I don't know who said it but there is a saying that holds so true....."Organized religion is for those with no internal moral compass and who require outside assistance". I believe that. I also have a problem with any religion\sect\cult etc.... that requires people to pay a certain portion of their yearly income to the church. That should be voluntary and based on what you can actually afford. Anything else is just greed which I'm pretty sure is the opposite way of the real teachings of Christ.

When I was a dancer, (many moons ago), I was paid $600 a week after all deductions, (SOCAN fees, restaurant tab etc..). At the time it was good money but it was not the easiest or most glamorous of jobs. Sometimes, especially in the smaller towns on the circuit the rooms were horrible, (dingy, cold and in one instance only half finished). You were expected to do 5 shifts of 3 dances each time. I went on at 12 noon, 3 pm, 6pm, 9pm and midnight. It was about 15 minutes each set. Crawling around on stage floors eventually ruined my knees and I had to stop. (the day I was dancing and really sharp pains started creeping up my legs, I knew it was over). There was a lot of travelling, being gone from home for anywhere from 2 weeks to a month at a time, and if you weren't into the "party scene", which I wasn't, it could sometimes get pretty lonely just sitting in your room by yourself waiting for the next set or going to the restaurant by yourself and having everyone in town who was eating there, know what you were doing and whisper about you at their tables. :oops: Still, I loved dancing, I loved music, and I got turned on by knowing that I could turn men on. It made me feel empowered and confident and really gave me a self confidence "boost" at a time when I really needed it. There were good and bad times...... As an escort, some days are better than others, just like any job. Sometimes you're tired or it's a been a long week, or the client is not the most pleasant of people and you really have to focus and motivate yourself. The clients are wonderful, time management is running smoothly, everything is clicking along.....I still feel empowered and turned on by knowing that I can still turn men on years later. Both professions have their pros and cons, relative to the business they are in. Both have good and bad days. Being a dancer you don't have to be "intimate" with the clients. You get up, you dance, you do your thing, you leave. There is no "one on one", it is a bar full of people staring at you and that can be a little unnerving sometimes. As an escort, you don't have hundreds staring at you all at once but you do have to get intimate and one on one with your client. Therefore a different level of realtionship is built with the dancer\client than between an escort\client. Some may prefer being an escort instead, because they don't want to be stared at by hundreds all at once and prefer the intimate one on one experience. Some prefer dancing because of the relative anonymity of it all. Being an escort you can set your own hours unlike a dancer who is relegated to a schedule, but on the other side of the coin, most dancers are done by midnight, escorts can work all night long. It's almost like "6 of one, half dozen of the other" type thing. I think all in all, both jobs, although in the same business, with a lot of the same basic fundamentals are also very different from each other and it can be hard to compare the two. (Same but different you know? Kind of like football and hockey....both sports, both with conditioning etc.....but both are played completely differently). As for which is "classier", I believe that "class" has to do with how you conduct yourself, not what you actually do for a living. I've seen classy escorts and dancers, and not classy lawyers, bankers etc...). There are aspects of both jobs which are seedy, (and this includes some of the girls), but there is also a part that is erotic, fun, sensual and daring and if done right, like anything can be ragingly successful and, if you're like me, a real boost to the sex drive....:69:.
