I use SnapHost.com (free captcha service) and a contact form (with e-mail addy hidden from the public) on my websites with the domains I own (100s). I found this works well for me. Without any legacy issues for marketing of any particular e-mail address, I created a new one for the form and have not had ANY spam since. I voted for The Simpsons, as imho it is comedic genius - the last few episodes have been hilarious! Longest running cartoon ever for a reason. ...and I agree, it's also the show that paved the way for South Park, FG, AD, the Cleveland Show, Ugly Americans, etc. Anecdotal evidence is the fact the Simpsons and South Park have had silver-screen movies whereby Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story went straight to DVD. Also, D'oh is now in the dictionary. Family Guy is a predictable regurgitation of jokes and days gone-by for me. Stewie and Brian have their moments, but far enough apart that I can't watch the show. As an example, I lean much more to the humourous stylings of Arrested Development moreso than SpongeBob Square Pants. ...but still love the toilet humour. :twisted:

In my experience, while websites are informative, I have found they are not always up-to-date or accurate, as I have been burnt several times of late with B&S from what I thought were reputable, professional, 'classy', SPs - only to have them turn out to be nothing but 2-faced liars. They know who they are. Example 1: A couple of SPs touring Canada are advertising videos services for an extra charge only to take ones money and not send the videos. These 2 people have done this multiple times now. One claims they were not ready to provide the service they listed and took money for - like ok, then don't advertise the service and take peoples money then if you do not intend to provide said service. Just a pathetic excuse. It goes to show - it's hard to trust ANYONE in this hobby. :-( So, in the end, I find I am forced to have to do many layers of Due Diligence (which involves calling and confirming things as best I can) in trying to find a Decent, Honest SP out of all the scammers out there (which there are many) - blame the marketplace and the lack of integrity of some people for the extra burden you and others have to deal with as part of the standard fair of this extremely dodgy industry. As well thou - some people just have a voice fetish and like to find SPs whom have a particular charm in the way they speak, or what-have-you. ;-) In the end, generally speaking, men can be very simple at times. Read instructions or ask for directions? Pawww-leeeeezzzzzz :-P

Well - personally speaking, I did take 2 limo tours of Ottawa recently (...but can't say I saw much of the city! ;-) ). When I do escape, it's usually to Montreal or Halifax. In general thou, I am out to each end of the city at least once a week, whether N, S, E or W. Beautiful city with lots to explore and do (bar scene aside). And to mention - it's the 6th city I've lived in so far! I've been around the block more times than the ice cream truck. :-D While I have a DL, I am too lazy to drive a Virtucar, and would just take a taxi (like I do to work every day). As a Web Developer with some SEO background, I believe it's as AA says with it being a technique to avoid having bots (Google, CL or otherwise) scrape the number and list it/block it/what-have-you. For a Discretion is Advised Business, I believe this is proper Due Diligence. As an SP on-the-side to other business, friends, family, I am sure eliminating as may ways to be exposed is desirable.

IMHO, short answer: No. Based on my understanding of logic, this is wrong because if everyone was a lurker and no one ever contributed (content to be lurked over), then there would be no CERB, and therefore only lurking would be counter to what this site is all about - contributing in the form of recommendations (it's stated right in the site name ;) I believe there is a reason to why it's not called the Canadian Escorts Lurking Board :???:). Yes, you are right, I misread and misspoke: the court decides... but after reading the article again (dated April 19), I do not believe he was let out - this time. "Saleh was scheduled to make an appearance in court Monday." ...being April 20, where he was arrested Friday, April 17 ("When police finally arrested Saleh this past Friday"). Looks like he may have been in the clink all weekend. They "let him out" the first time thou, and well, we now see how that turned out. ...but I digress. Whether the police did the job well is left to be seen (with provincial stats showing OPP are regularly among the worse at solving crimes), as Saleh was 'finally' arrested just this past Friday, a year after the first assault was reported, and long after he missed his court date (yet he is reported to have been working nearby in Kanata). I have dealt with the 'less than professional' Ottawa police who are well known to protect and serve - themselves. With their lies and cover-ups to profiling and discriminating against people. So ignorant I am not - and well, rude is subjective. That is not to say they did anything wrong here, but their overall track record speaks for itself. IMHO - it's far worse for the cops to be ignorant and rude in not protecting and serving the community as best they can than me stating so here.
