Veggie restaurant downtown Ottawa?
Two Thirty replied to AlannaJohnson's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
The Green Door on Main St. across from St. Paul's University is quite good albeit buffet style. Make no mistake, though, they put their money into great tasting food, 'very nutrient dense. About 5min in a cab from downtown. -

Happy Birthday! Treat yourself well today :) -
Yesterday, one of the coldest days of this New Year, I found myself looking back on the times I warmed up in the company of one of the lovely women of this community since joining it a little over a year ago. A few of those times have been with Naomi. What is it that makes me want to be with her? Honestly, I'm not sure it's any one thing. I do know this: Pretty, slim toned physique, beautiful clean silky hair, great skin, sophisticated with her own chic style; she's all these things and more. And oh yes, smart. Definitely smart. With an eclectic range of interests, Naomi is a wonderful companion with whom I've enjoyed great conversations. And just as easily as she can hold a conversation, without words she can turn 'it' on with a sparkle and look in her eyes that says, "I want you, now!" In those moments I've found myself thinking, "I'm having such a great time just talking to this girl, how could it get better?" But it does! Trust me, it definitely does get better!! Naomi epitomizes the girl-next-door turned college girl-hottie; the one you might have grown up with prior to either of you being sexually aware of each other, and then wondering what it might be like to be with her in bed. Well, you need not wonder. She's all grown up now and definitely enjoys giving and receiving pleasure. Of course, YMMV. But if you are mature, respectful, D&D free, and practice good personal hygiene, dare I say you'll enjoy discovering Naomi, again and again, and again

You're living what a lot of us still only dream about; a second chance. Wishing you and yours best of luck!

I agree, that kind of behavior is very disrespectful -- and frankly, I'm not sure if a client who does could have a reason. We all know that "Life happens", but regardless of the cause, giving some notice is not unreasonable. Sorry to hear this happened to you.

Very insightful -- and appropriate, considering it's New Year's Day, which a lot of us use to mark new beginnings. Myself I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone from having or even following one's dreams. After all, when married with the right mix of ambition, and drive, and smarts, etc., you raise the odds of actually realizing the dream. Of course, the spread on those odds are measured when the outcome depends not only on what you do, but also on the actions and decisions of others upon whom your dream depends. Henry David Thoreau probably put it best when in writing Walden he said, "If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with success unexpected in common hours." That said, he also put a condition on how to realize one's dreams i.e. doing the work necessary to put the right foundation underneath those dreams in order to realize them. 'Pretty smart fella. And what if it can't be done? That's when you gotta learn to let go, so that you can move forward and not carry the baggage that would go with a "shattered dream." 'Definitely not always the easiest thing to do, especially if that "dream" was about a relationship, which I should point out depended on the action(s) of a partner. But as you implied, going for it but failing in the process is just one more piece of our lives that makes each of us unique.

Question for the ladies...
Two Thirty replied to Sensual Erin's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
'Really sorry to hear this happened to you. I agree with the posters' comments: A gentleman WILL provide you with his consideration/donation upfront, no questions asked. I echo Emma's suggestion as well, which will not only help you but the other fine SPs in this community. Have a better day! -

Not allowed to say no?
Two Thirty replied to VictoriaJolie's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Victoria, Please be assured that you are NOT in the wrong. No should mean no. Unfortunately, there will be people who, despite hearing you say "No", do not listen. For these people, there a few things you can do to help them understand. However, you do have control over what YOU do. May I suggest adding a screening program? Such screening could take the form of a few choice questions (on your cerb advertisements? your website?) that you would require a reply to in order to help you infer the soundness of the person who would have the privilege of your company. I know of a couple of MAs who do this sort of screening, and it seems to work for them. This sounds like a hassle, but you are putting your time and your whole self on the line. So, a bit of pre- emptive screening might help. 'Just a suggestion... Regardless, take good care of yourself! -
would you stop this?
Two Thirty replied to Loralee Reach's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Myself, I'd stop hobbying if asked, but only if doing so was right for ME. As well, I wouldn't presume to ask such a question of a SP or anyone else who is a consenting adult. -
toine is right -- cato and cowboy kenny not only have good insight, they're both community builders here on cerb.

People, but especially us men, are visually oriented; and among men, I don't know too many who loiter for any length of time when seeking out something they want. So, in support of what others have said in reply to you, a website that is simple yet visually appealing, with all the essential info, (who is available; their stats; their portfolio; hours and days they are available; their limits; their likes/dislikes; FAQ; how to contact/book) and no music, would probably work best. I believe the phrase "user centric" is what you need to bear in mind.

Abuse is abuse is ABUSE! From what you've written about your experience, to me this person has self-esteem and perhaps even latent anger issues. I'm happy that you've moved on before this person could escalate his indignities. -

Thanks for this initiative, 'very thoughtful of you. For sure cerb is a special community, and I would think that anyone engaged in our hobby can afford just this extra bit of consideration to it. Good on you
