  1. Thank you so much for looking into this, November! Posted via Mobile Device
  2. I'd like to be able to click threw images on my computer while viewing them in full form and delete some as I go. This was possible with a PC but on my Mac I can only figure out how to click in thumbnail form.
  3. Great minds think alike: http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=38660&highlight=learned
  4. Nobody seems to think that having sex for free is degrading, so I don't think having sex for a low rate should be considered degrading. It's up to you what you want to charge and your rates, high or low, should be respected. Feeling degraded is a very personal thing. Remember that lots of people think that charging for sex period! is degrading. I also wanted to add that I think in most cases "you get what you pay for" but this, of course, is not a reflection of the provider herself but of the services she provides. The better the pay, the more effort I put into my encounters.
  5. Criminalizing buying sex to fight human trafficking is like criminalizing sex so it's easier to arrest rapists.
  6. Thanks for looking into this for us! Posted via Mobile Device
  7. Yeah, they only serve people in the Somerset West area. I'm not sure the reasons.
  8. I would like to know their reasons for only serving people in their area. Who funds them? I do know a lot of the staff and they are super awesomely sex-work positive. So I'd like to keep going there!
  9. I went to SWCHC and they turned me away, even when I pleaded "This is the only place that doesn't treat me like shit for being a sex worker!"
  10. I used to live with a very promiscuous roommate who had a regular boyfriend, and numerous fuck-buddies. I was comfortable with her boyfriend and he was always welcomed. She agreed she would ask me before bringing over a fuck-buddy. If I just didn't feel like it that night, I told her so, and she would go to his place. This worked well for us. Good luck!
  11. November, Thank you so much for bringing this to CERB's attention. Just to elaborate, POWER has been granted intervener status in the court challenge on prostitution laws. Our goal is FULL DECRIMINALIZATION of prostitution. NOT licensing, NOT the Swedish model (criminalizing clients). This is something that will impact all of us on CERB, providers and clients alike. POWER has two wonderful lawyers working for us pro-bono. However, we still have about $4000 in legal costs including hefty photocopying, legal fees, travel & accomodations for our lawyers, etc. We are looking into fundraising, donations, anything we can!
  12. Great post, Lou! If a lady is not of a gentleman's taste, he need not contact her. We all have our fans!
  13. OP - I believe OPG is a good agency and I respect their choice to not discuss services on the lady's behalf. While I can understand your frustration, remember there are no guarantees. You could call up another agency and they may tell you that everything is on the menu, but when you arrive the lady will tell you a different story.
  14. You are referring specifically to the bawdy-house laws, but there are indeed many laws pertaining to prostitution. Living off the avails of another person's prostitution is illegal. If you are running an agency, you are living off the avails of prostitution and this is not legal in Canada. An incall agency could be charged with keeping a common bawdy house AND living off the avails. An outcall agency could NOT be charged with keeping a common bawdy house because they are outcall-only, but they could definitely be charged with living off the avails. The only way to work completely legally as a prostitute in Canada is to work independently without any third party (agency, security guard, or driver, etc.), arrange all encounters privately, not within public view (email and phone), and to do outcalls only. Also, just to clarify, you the client could not be charged nor could the lady. But the agency and any others profiting from her work (drivers, security guards, etc.) could be charged. So you and the lady have nothing to fear! Not saying I agree with this, but that is the way the law is currently. I find the "living off the avails" law very paternalistic and it pisses me off like no other!!
  15. Living off the avails is illegal, so even outcall-only agencies are illegal.
  16. I always thought of a courtesan as being a "high class" escort, though sometimes I find the "high class" language to be pretentious. I could be wrong, but I think in some cities "escorts" are licensed so some will avoid using the word, and use other words like companion or courtesan to by-step the law.
  17. When it comes to your health, I would be sure to get the advice of a doctor before indulging. I did a quick google search and nothing came up.
  18. I LOVE the smell of a natural, wet, healthy kitty. Why anyone would prefer it smell like lilacs or roses is beyond me.
  19. I also like to take care of business at the beginning. I feel a little akward having to ask the gentleman because I don't like to embarrass people. The situation you describes certainly wouldn't bother me, assuming you did hand me my fee when I asked for it. If you didnt have my fee for whatever reason, that would create feelings of distrust. It's understandable your mind was elsewhere and I think that means your MA did good job! Next time you see her, hand her fee to her at the very beginning. This way you won't forget and she will feel 100% secure. Posted via Mobile Device
  20. If your conscience is telling you no, don't do it. I've met with several guilt-induced married men and I find their inability to relax and feel comfortable doesn't allow them to truly enjoy the experience.
  21. Though I didn't have much of a clue when I first began, my timing is generally intuitive and accurate at this point. It's kind of hard to describe but I just pick up on signs from the gentlemen and go with the flow. My timing/technique is usually the best with regular clients as I get to know their body so well.
  22. I explain the CERB rules and ask them: "Do you have an email address so I can let you know?" If they insist on PM, I save the PM where they ask me, so in the case it's reported to mod, I can just report the PM where they asked it. Unsolicited PM's are not allowed, but if they ask I don't consider this unsolicited.
  23. After performing an erotic body slide on the gentleman's back, I asked him to flip over. It was then that I noticed red splots on the pillow case. I pointed them out to the gentleman and asked if he was bleeding. I knew for sure it wasn't there when our session became because I check each and every sheet/towel for marks, etc. Neither of us could figure out where we were bleeding. Here I am thinking I operate the most sketchy massage parlour LOL :) I assured him that the sheets were cleaned properly, I turned over the pillow, and proceeded to perform a front body slide. During the bodyslide, my lips brushed slight red against the pillow case in the same spot as before. If you haven't figured it out, it was my LIPSTICK that made the red spots, not blood LOL. Boy did I feel silly! :)
  24. I do require a cell phone for bookings because I don't like giving out my address before the appointment. I feel secure knowing you won't show up early when I may have another client, as you don't have the address! That being said, I have made exceptions with people who offer their home number to be. I generally assume that anyone who is willing to give me their real name, real address, and real home phone number is not someone who will screw me around.
