  1. I followed the bookmark, and you cannot post. The last entry was from 2:32pm today. It's over.
  2. So the politicians really think this is going to stop human trafficking?
  3. That's interesting and great to hear! I have to admit, I was the same way. Around ages 16-20 I thought "I will never use my body to make money because I have brains so I don't need to!" Funny how I use my brain just as much, if not more, than with straight jobs. When I was dancing, I had a few guys comment to me: "If you're smart and educated, why are you working here?" Nothing pissed me off more than that!
  4. This reminds me of a quotation from Southpark. Chef sings a song about prostitutes: "A prostitute is like any other woman (they all exchange something for sex) but she does it well!"
  5. I frequently check out the "gigs-adult" of CL and the occasional sugar daddy websites, not really for work, but just because I find them interesting. I find several postings by men who are looking to pay for sex but they specifically write "I'm looking for non-pro women only." I understand the appeal of the "girl next door" or the innocent thing, but a lot of escorts I know can offer this! The vibe I get is that these men want to pay for sex, but they don't want to have sex with a working girl, seeing themselves as "above" that. It makes no sense to me to say "I want to buy sex, but not from someone who sells it." I also see the occasional woman posting "I'm not a prostitute and I wouldn't normally do this but....." as if they are somehow better than the rest of us. Let's face it, honey, if you're having sex for money, you're a sex worker just like the rest of us! You're not any better than us just because you're doing it *insert reason here*. I could be naive. Maybe this is just an SP who has a clever marketing scheme. This isn't really a vent, just an observation I made and wanted to point out to someone...... and that led me to CERB!
  6. All independents I know, including myself, clean the shower after each client. The massage oil sticks to the tub making it dirty very quickly, and it's also slippery. It's unsafe if you don't clean it after each client!
  7. I worked at Bare Fax and Nu Den during the day and I find they are both good from a dancer's perspective and client perspective. Bare Fax probably has Nu Den beat, though.
  8. The majority of MA's do not offer digits. You should NOT try to do so without her consent. Ask first!
  9. Wow, Tiffany. That teacher story if awful. If he suspected he was getting a massage from one of his students who is under 18, he should have left!!!!
  10. I just clicked "Report this post" and suggested to mod to move it to the reco section.
  11. I think that a thread should be started in the recommendation section for Kelly's recommendations. This is the "massage discussion" forum so I think it's okay to discuss things like insurance. It's nice of people to recommend her here, but truth is this thread will eventually be buried and lost. Hopefully someone will start the recommendation thread she deserves.
  12. From my understanding, if your massage includes a happy ending, your RMT can lose her license. I wouldn't want the insurance company looking into this and I don't think they would be too happy to learn they are subsidizing your "play time". If it's a risk you're willing to take, go for it! But I do think people should be educated about the risks.
  13. To try and bargain is to tell me that I'm not worth my asking price. That's not a good way to start off an encounter!
  14. I'm also addicted. Another good easy one is 'cut the rope'. Posted via Mobile Device
  15. Zoning by-laws make it difficult to open a massage parlour downtown because it's too close to residential zones, but you could try doing a Google search. The only one that comes to mind is on the DNR/DND list. There are a few independents that are based downtown, but advance bookings are usually required. Alternately, you could try an outcall if that's an option for you. I believe JessicaMassage was advertising outcalls for awhile, but I don't know if she is still doing them or not.
  16. My friend just broke up with his girlfriend, so I decided to take him out to a strip club and get him some lapdances to cheer him up! We headed to Pigales at 6pm and discovered it doesn't open till 7pm on Saturdays. We went across the road to Taboo. Taboo in general was a bit disappointing as there was only one dancer on stage during the entire hour we were there. Dancers weren't approaching us, I guess because they thought we were a couple. Finally, a curvy, exotic lady came to sit with us. I wish I could remember her name! She saved our trip to Taboo. She was very friendly, and I sent my friend off to the champagne room with her. He informed "Everything still works down there" LOL! By the time 7:15 came around, we decided to head on over to Pigales. Even though it had just opened, there were almost continual shows onstage, which was great! There were about 5-10 ladies to choose from over the hour. Ladies were very beautiful in a model kind of way. My friend has a preference for curvy & busty women, but I know that Pigales is strict about weight. I wish there were curvier women there! Overall, lots of great women to choose from and dancers were very friendly. XOXO
  17. An interesting quiz on life expectancy. I have no idea how accurate it is. I'm expected to live till 87. I would actually expect that to be longer given my healthy living and my family history. http://www.canadianbusiness.com/my_money/planning/retirement_rrsp/life_expectancy/tool.jsp#hbpControlQ
  18. Different styles attract different clients. What is important to one person, is not important to another.
  19. It would be pretty cool if this were a female client. I've only had a handful myself, but they're pretty awesome.
  20. I am unapologetically someone who strongly dislikes winter. It's not reasonable for me to move at this stage of my life with a career, family, and school in Ottawa. I live for the summer!
  21. There is big business for intimacy, much more so than sex, in my opinion. Over 50% of my income from both dancing and massage has been with regulars who are looking for hugs & cuddles, conversation, and intimacy. If I were just selling a sexual release, my business would drop off like a cliff and I wouldn't expect to get much repeat business. It's the connection and intimacy that I and others offer that keeps the guys coming back.
  22. This is a very sensitive issue. Mostly as a dancer, but also as an MA, men are very open with me about their sexual fantasies, even if we just talk about them without acting them out. I have discovered that there are many men out there who fantasize about degrading women and roughing them up, while also being 100% respectful towards women. Fantasy and reality are two very separate things, and I don't think we can judge people for their fantasies unless, of course, they act out their fantasies in any way other than between meaningfully consenting adults. I do, however, have to take issue with the comment about tattoos. I don't like to see myths like that perpetuated because it could mean women with tats have guys try and rough them up.
  23. That is very strange because I also remember the OP asking about bbbj. Maybe the post was edited? I could be wrong. This thread has been around for awhile.
