  1. I went to high school with two women who wore the niqab, the veil that covers a woman's full face. One was a Muslim convert whose Christian parents grossly disapproved of her faith. It was a constant battle for her to wear niqab when her family, school, and community disapproved. The other woman was raised Muslim and her mother wore the hijab. Her parents forbid her to wear the niqab which resulted in many fights. Her parents felt it would put her at risk for violence and they did not believe it was part of the Muslim religion. She married at 18 to escape her families liberal views and she has worn the niqab ever since. I'm not saying that the nib is never an oppression. Some will say western women are more free because they can wear what they want. Muslim women would say they are oppressed being put on display for the enjoyment of men. I don't agree with either. To me freedom is being able to make your own choice and oppression is having choice taken away from you. Posted via Mobile Device
  2. Very controversial thread. I look forward to seeing the direction of the thread before adding my thoughts.
  3. I believe they will open at 12pm. Most other establishments open at 12pm. I get the feeling it's only considered disrespectful to be open at 11am, as that is supposed to be a moment of silence.
  4. As mod said, to cover tattoos, but also some dancers use it to cover up acne/scars on their body, or to cover up razor burn/red bumps from shaving their pubic area. I've never done this myself, but I have to admit it was stranger to watch dancers put cover-up makeup on their pubic area.
  5. I usually have the best sessions when they are booked 1-3 days in advance. It's enough time to enjoy the anticipation, but not so much that schedules are subject to change.
  6. I spoke with Jayda and she respectfully requests that she no longer be discussed on CERB.
  7. I agree with the death penalty in theory but I don't trust the system or any system enough to see it put in place. Posted via Mobile Device
  8. I just want to make it perfectly clear that I never blacklisted you and never discussed you personally with any SP at any time. I have not shared your personal information with anyone and don't intend to. I value discretion as much as you do and only share personal information when I think an SP could be in danger.
  9. I agree. I've gotten a lot of requests from new clients this month, October seems to have been popular for massage lol, and I always choose the ones who open up and bit and tell me about themselves. The guys I tend not to meet at "Joe Blow 52-year-old white male disease and drug free" LOL. Not a very interesting description and doesn't make me feel compelled to meet them.
  10. It's something I notice on all forums, not just CERB. Lots of people leave, some like to go out with a bang LOL.
  11. I agree and as I said in my first post, I reported his post and mine to mod and I expect they will be taken down. I didn't feel right having his version of events without mine. He didn't name me, but there are only a couple of independent MA's in Ottawa who do prescreening questionnaires so it easily could have gotten back to me.
  12. That's exactly it. I'm meeting a stranger in my apartment by myself, and I need to feel 100% comfortable. If something just doesn't feel right to me or rubs me the wrong way, I don't go ahead with the appointment. My comfort and safety is the most important thing to me and sometimes, unfortunately, that involves turning people down for appointments.
  13. CERB is not the place to air dirty laundry, but because you've posted this, I feel I need to reply. I'm also reporting our posts to mod. I didn't reply to your email within 23 hours and you wrote back saying among other things "it's your loss not to see me, there are so many other MP's out there." Why would I want to meet you after a comment like that? You could have just written "Hey Megan, I noticed it's been almost a day, did you get my email". That being said, I have NOT blacklisted you or shared your CERB name, email, or number with anyone. I asked the SP's privately if they thought I should see you after that email, without mentioning you personally, and they all said no I should not go ahead with the appointment. Now that you have shared my email, they will know who you are. I signed the email telling you that I had no hard feelings towards you and I meant it. Sometimes people rub each other the wrong way. It's doesn't mean we're bad people, but it's better to figure out these things before an appointment instead of a dissapointment for both of us. As for the other MP, when I'm sick, I don't schedule appointments because I would rather be in bed and I don't know when I will be better. I do rescheduling, if the client would like to, after I'm better. I wouldn't interpret what she did badly. They say bad luck comes in threes, so maybe you'll be getting your good luck soon.
  14. The ruling is not in effect. It's business as usual. I would stay away from high-volume locations.
  15. There is a Robert Pickton quotation where he is quoted as saying that he targetted prostitutes because it was easy and no one would notice, or something along those lines. Can anyone help me find it? Many thanks!!
  16. From the best of my knowledge, showers are mandatory for most independents in Ottawa, including myself. What is a table shower?
  17. I sent her a message on Facebook alerting her to this thread.
  18. Bethany's Sweetest Massage: http://sites.google.com/site/sweetestmassage/
  19. I agree with this and thank you. It's easy to say "Megan and Jessica offer 'more' " but what is more to one person is not necessarily more to another. The overwhelming majority of service providers on this board are escorts and offer way "more" than me including touching pussy, full service, bbbj, daty, dfk, etc. The clients who see me see me specifically because they are interested in what I'm offering. Contrary to what some may think, men are not constantly battling to get more mileage. Many are quite content with the services that MAs provide, including the "lesser mileage" (I hate that term) of Jude. I've seen several of her clients and never heard a bad thing about her, just rave reviews! I refer clients to her who are looking for not just an erotic massage, but a therapeutic massage with eroticism thrown in.
  20. I'm the opposite! I'm usually great at writing, but when I speak it's hard for me to express myself properly. I guess that's because speech doesn't have review/edit buttons LOL
  21. Not worth it. Move on! No amount of money is worth making you feel shitty.
  22. The We Vibe is hot, but wouldn't that be kind of gross to use a toy that was also used on other guys? I guess I'm just a selfish woman....... I don't share my toys with anyone ;)
  23. There is Annessa who is half-Asian. http://www.wix.com/exoticannessa/annessa
  24. That's disgusting. I user Myo Ther, a professional water-based oil. I like it because your skin absorbs it and I find it's easier to come off in the shower. I'm sorry for your bad experience.
