In my opinion, the International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers exists because the violence experienced by sex workers is unique. I gave a talk to a sociology class at one of our universities (of which I am a grad) and I told the students the following: "As an upper-middle class white young woman in university, if I claimed I was raped while on campus wearing my 'student hat' the police would be all over my case and it would likely receive media attention. I would also undoubtedly receive community support. However, if I were raped while doing what I do/did to support my schooling, that is sex work, the police would likely be uninterested or I myself would be investigated, it would not receive media attention, I would receive considerably less community support, and many people would blame me for the rape." Let us also not forget that there are male and transgender sex workers as well. To answer your question "Is there an international day to end violence against women?" that requires one simple google search :)

My general view on attached clients as a sex worker is that each relationship is unique and I'm not there to judge.

I put a huge white beach towel on the bed to cover it and and obviously each client gets a new one. (Well my first 4 clients got either a purple blanket, or a wolf blanket, but I've since bought the beach towels :P ) The towel does get damp, but it has never soaked underneath to the mattress so this hasn't been a problem as of yet. Hello Massage Hobbyists, I started doing massage outside of my home with a massage table. My plan was setting up independently, that I would use my bed until I had made a bit of money and I would buy a massage table. Now that I have the money, I don't want one! I'm very comfortable on my bed. It's wider than a massage table so I can lay down comfortably next to my client, and it's low to the ground so I don't feel afraid of falling off. My question is: Would this put you off? I prefer the bed from my perspective, but what about the client perspective? I haven't had any complaints yet, but you never know, people could be too polite. I'm going to disagree. When a child is born into the world and is his or her own person, it's the duty of society to protect that child. As long as the child is part of his or her mother's body and cannot live separately, it's the woman's business. That's my opinion.

What I meant is that the "good guys" of CERB that we want her to see won't be visiting her anymore while this post might attract someone who is interested in harming the girl. I don't think a regular CERB poster would go after her daughter, but this isn't a private forum and I'm quite sure we have at least 10 "lurkers" per actual poster. I think it would be empowering for you to choose that what your ex think doesn't matter to you and has no bearing on your life. Exactly! They're way too conservative for me. I posted an ad on Craig's List. I wrote up a detailed posting of what I was looking for. A sexy, smart, fun, respectful guy for NSA sex.
