Hi Auralie, I can only speak for myself. Whenever I make an initial appointment with an SP/MP it is only after having completed as much background research as I can about the person, i.e., read CERB profile and view pictures, if any; read SP/MP's web site in its entirety; read any reviews on CERB or elsewhere. My preference is to exchange introductory PMs or e-mails with the SP/MP indicating that I am contemplating making an appointment within a date range for a specific time preiod (number of hours) and whether it will be incall or outcall. I agree with you that the ladies would prefer as much up-front information as possible so that they will be in a better position to reply to the "gentlemen" with appropriate details. It is the old dilemma: how can you respond intelligently when there is a lack of information to beign with? ;-) P.S. Just love those "naked chef" menus! -

I agree with Antlerman. Not only is the Mod's explanation beyond my limited technical capacities :confused: (although I quite fully understand that fellow CERBites who themselves are techies, or so inclined, will have loved his detailed explanation) but it only proves how well we are served by his mastery of all things technical in keeping our Board running smoothly, with only the odd little hiccup. Well done Mod! Now relax and have a glass of champagne to celebrate a job well done! -

If one looks at a dictionary (what a concept), and I checked the Canadian Oxford and the Cage Canadian, the correct spelling is "hobbyist". Unfortunately, I do not have an American dictionary and could not verify if our neighbours to the south have a different "official" spelling of the word. ;-)

Definite thanks go out to Christine (JoyfulC) for the work she did as a pioneer in the establishment of an initial review board. Things have certainly evolved, especially in light of the technological advances in software and hardware. However, if you read Christine's blog you will note that she is always perfecting her technical skills (not those ones!!) in the use of the latest communication tools and other high tech gadgets. Congratulations Christine!
