I installed a heat pump in my house this week, it works fabulously and the company owner was by today for his money and told me use this unit full blast and it will cost $ 100 per month to heat my home. Yes currently my oil bill is $400 every two weeks and its still not warm. Katherine is sitting in her house getting hotter by the minute ! :biggrin: :biggrin:

When I am not having guests or entertaining I don't shower, wash my hair or brush my teeth. I slop around the house in my cat pajamas, drink wine and talk to my cats. I have also gone for groceries and to the NSLC in same cat pajamas, jammies are pink and my crocks are blue. Very classy!

Exactly and in this business thinking of tomorrow, next week and so on is very important.

Great question and I have heard this exact type of logic your friend is talking about. I would not do this. I can afford to travel on my own when the time is right for me . The time I would be away on my paid vacation I would be losing money here at home of wherever I may choose to visit that week.

I would not. Those of us who are partnered or married depend on the support we get from our SO. Many times they help us book tickets, rooms and keep the home running while we are away. They also support us financially, if we have a bad week their paycheck is in the bank, guaranteed. This allows us not to fret about seeing X number of people and saves a lot of stress. In return for all this if my SO wanted to see someone else that is a treat he totally deserves.

Yes I was running in Point Pleasant Park on Monday and a guy let his dog have a big one and I just stopped and asked him if he was going to pick it up. He said this is a park of nature and there is no need. Hell if everyone did this we couldn't walk in there.

I plan to clean all my windows properly . Pick up any leaves that I missed in the fall. Maybe dig up one of two trees. Fill all my pots and planters with flowers. Start a new flower garden. If I am very lucky I will be getting some special flowers from PEI and some help with my flower garden . Here spring means my flowers are going to grow and I plan to have as many possible. Yah to flowers. :icon_smile:

This woman is know as Mamma Flo and has been around and maybe still is a provider herself. I have never met her but I know people that do. I also had not heard she was running underage girls . The last I heard she was living in a basement apartment on Evans Avenue. This is a section of Fairview in Halifax . Its a section of town that boarders Old Clayton Park. It has good and bad parts all through Fairview, this one not being particularly bad. Perhaps not a good walk at night.

Almost every day I get up and see that there were several missed calls in the middle of the night right up to 5 and 6 AM. Well I am getting up at 6 or so but I bet the person that is calling me at 5 AM is not someone I'd like to see. There must be some people out there willing to see "gentleman " around the clock otherwise requests like this would not be made.

I heard from some of my best friends here , its so exciting to see each others greetings. I also got some personal PM's and the day ended in a beautiful dinner with great wine and conversation. That is living the high life for me and I am thankful for all my true friends that love me. :)

I am so sorry to hear about this and I completely understand . My first couple of trips to Ottawa were disastrous and I would be crying in my room trying to figure out why people booked and did not even bother to show up. Here is the good news, perseverance pays. If you can afford to build a good reputation there with a few word seems to get around. Ottawa is now one of my favourite cities to visit with very polite and grateful gentlemen. You just have to find them. A small deposit really helps and having them call a few days prior to confirm and then the day before. All the best to you and I really hope it works out for you!!

I used to trust every one. I have a keen sense of who I can trust and cannot. In this industry however I have been saddened to find we are talked about weather it be jealousy or a myriad of different reasons. Being male or female doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm pretty fine with that , this is a place that is very competitive and I guess it can be expected. Life is life. How ever I was once what I had considered to be best friends with another lady here. We ate dinner together , shared laughs and sadness's of life. I truly felt we were forever friends and I loved her. Then things became difficult for me for a short time and I was not able to be the friend I wanted to me. I tried to get through this period of my life without complaining as I knew it was short lived. I was dropped from this persons life because I missed one dinner and acted in a way uncharacteristic to me. If she had only asked or perhaps if I had told exactly the hardship I suffered may be things world have turned out differently. I am still very wounded by this but I will not lose faith. I believe if you look hard enough and are lucky there are many people you can trust and my mind remains open that I will get another great relationship here that can preserve time.
