  1. Thanks Kyra, I think I will try that compilation (I've bought a few CDs for particular songs and ended up disappointed with the other tracks), I think a "best of" might be safer bet for me. Flutter is great, it totally has a movement feel - even one of the comments on youtube mentions downhill skiing. That Friendly Pressure reminded a lot of Me'Shell - if she's not already in your playlist, I'd guess she has some stuff you'd like. You should check out this streaming radio: http://somafm.com/listen/ if you get a chance, I think you might like it. Lindsay - I think you might really like Peter Gabriel's "Last Temptation of Christ" (the score for the movie of the same name)... It's a little dark (you might not want to fall asleep listening to it), but it's really, very good.
  2. I'm not entirely sure I qualify as a gentleman, but gosh-golly (I said that in my head like Goofy - you know? Like "Gorsh Mickey"? - it was pretty cute... although you probably had to be there) I'm gonna reply anyhow! Although I have nothing wrong with women wearing make-up, hair-spraying their hair, doing their nails etc., (I understand why you do it) - I personally, don't get why we make you do it. I know it's the norm, but it's a strange thing to me. If you don't know what I mean, imagine walking around the city and seeing all the men wearing heels, their hair all done up and sporting long painted nails... That picture is probably a little odd for most... For me it's the same with women... Okay, well, it's not really the same, I've been raised in this society too. I've learned that it's normal for women to do all of this, maybe even a requisite, but I disagree with it, and do my best to recongnize that these are requirements we've chosen for women. IMNSHO, the most beautiful women on Earth are the ones going au natural. No make-up, no big hair, no long painted nails, no perfume... just women - all woman, and only woman. You ladies are beautiful without all of the fuss! Women are naturally beautiful creatures. Meg, your love of gardening and getting your hands dirty - HOT! :jackoff: Chantal Kyrie, playing piano - HOT! :jackoff: Meg, Chantal, I've seen your pictures up here - trust me, the last thing I'd be focusing on is your nails! Yikes! That probably came off a little judgemental - I'm sorry if it did, I really didn't mean it in a bad way. I just disagree with women being made to feel that they need to wear make-up, have long, coloured nails and lose weight to be beautiful. I'm very grateful that I don't have to do all that as a man, and I wish you didn't have to as women.
  3. Wishing you a very happy birthday Shelby!
  4. Great sampling Kyra! I haven't heard of quite of few of those artists (Bonobo & Bajka, Lamb, Cinematic Orchestra) - I really liked those songs though... I'll be adding them to my own playlist I think!
  5. I suffer from a mild sort-of hay fever in the spring sometimes too. I found my eyes bothered me quite a bit recently with the added smoke in the air from those fires in Quebec. The absolute first thing to remember when your eyes start itching is not to rub them. I don't know exactly why it is, but rubbing always seems to make it worse (maybe you're spreading around the pollen or whatever it is causing the reaction?) I know it's insanely difficult to do sometimes, but you have to resist the urge to rub your eyes... it'll actual feel better in the long run. Rinsing your eyes with cold water in the shower (keep your eyes open), can help to wash out whatever's in there. Visine sometimes helps. Claritin, or some other similar allergy relief medication helps (Claritin takes at least a day to get into your system, so if you try it be patient at first - I find Claritin really works for me). I know you're into natural remedies, but sometimes the other stuff is the only option. If you try all that and it keeps up you should probably consider seeing a doctor... in fact, if it's been bothering you that badly for a week, and it's really swollen quite a bit, maybe you should consider a doctor now - it could be something other than allergies...
  6. Thanks for the link rickoshadows -interesting read!
  7. JordanJames... mmm, mmm! I love this picture!
  8. I've worked some shift work in my younger years and found it messed me up quite a bit. Every once and a while nowadays I'll have to pull an all-nighter to meet a project deadline, and I have to say that the last couple of years it's really taken it's toll on me - it completely messes up my appetite and sleeping pattern for a few days. I think some people are better with shift work than others. My father worked shift work almost his entire life (3 shifts - days, afternoons, nights) and both he and mother seemed to be just fine. He was okay physically (seemed to be anyhow) and their relationship was good. Same thing with my sister and brother-in-law - he works 12 hour shifts (I'm not sure if he's on 3 shifts or 2, I think it may be 2). He seems physically and mentally healthy, and their relationship seems good. That being said, I'm pretty sure I couldn't handle shift work. I think it would take a toll on my personal life and health.
  9. That'd be called a MADILF? (mother AND daughter I'd like to :motion:)
  10. I think "MILF" started as something a male teenager might say in regards to another teenager's mother - maybe even only to another male teenager specifically. I think with kids being kids "MILF" isn't necessarily a bad thing really... well, okay, it's pretty rude when you think about it, but you know what I mean, between teenage buddies it's quite funny - they're chemically imbalanced, totally hormonal, nearly psycho, teenage males - that's how they're supposed to behave... I personally don't think it's really that appropriate for older men to use the term. I know it's become mainstream and we use it without thinking about it, but it's really not a nice way to refer to a woman. It's pretty crude, and it doesn't even really make sense coming out of the mouth of anyone over 18 years old. Not that I really think much of it when I hear "MILF" used, I know it's not likely meant in a hurtful way, but I prefer "cougar" too. When I was a teenager I would have preferred a MILF, but as an adult cougars are much hotter. I'm way the other side of twenty-five now though, so even cougar doesn't really work for me... I'd much rather a really hot mature lady that finds someone my age attractive. After all, the most beautiful women in the world don't even start to happen until after 30! :cooter: :motion: :jackoff:
  11. A second and third orgasm! :sm185: Definitely better than the first!
  12. Bwah ha ha! Don't mention this one in front of antlerman -
  13. I was reading through Carrie's handjob tax thread and started to get a little worked up (I hear ya Pete!)... I figured maybe starting a new thread for a little rant on taxes may be more appropriate BownChickaBown - "PPS (Pay Per Stroke)" - seriously! It's likely only a matter of time! Oh no, wait, that won't be the Government though, that'll be Bell or Rogers. I personally don't mind taxes... I just can't stand the way they're using them... They keep taking more and more and giving less and less. I can't figure how we can all be paying so much tax but the government still needs to cut back on things like healthcare and education... I'm not a politician or an economist, an accountant or even a bookkeeper (admittedly my perspective is probably a little naive and/or ignorant), BUT it really seems to me that there shouldn't be a need to cut back on, or privatize anything with the amount of money collected by the Canadian government in taxes... Where in the hell is all that money going?!? Am I wrong in a assuming that our tax dollars are not being spent very well?
  14. lol - I like Pete's angle! I'm going with the Blackhawks too
  15. Happy birthday Angela! Hope you had a great one!
  16. endoplasmic reticulum - part of cell (the little Martian guy in Bugs Bunny said that all the time - when I was a kid that really cracked me up) discombobulate - to confuse (I love this word! it just rolls off the tongue so nicely! lol)
  17. Yikes! She's incredible! I just about spilled more than my beer checking out those pics! LOL Thanks for sharing spud! (great story too!)
  18. OMG Carrie! Good thing I started bringing the extra shorts with me - that was, well, uh... that was very nicely said!
  19. I literally can't eat brussels sprouts... well, I can technically, but I'll be in pain for hours afterwards. I LOVE brussels sprouts but recently (the last couple of years) I've started getting insane cramps after eating them. What's up with that??? I also can't eat cottage cheese - When I was a kid my dad forced me to eat it while we were out for dinner one night (the whole "you at least have to try it" routine)... Well, I don't know what exactly my problem was with it, but as soon as it got to mouth I started gagging,. After a few seconds of not being allowed to spit it out I vomited... To this day, even just looking at it makes me feel uncomfortable (which is really too bad, because I have this sneaking suspicion that it's probably really good). I'm also not a fan of squash... I love just about everything else - brussels sprouts, turnip, fiddleheads, beets, spinach, onions... you name it - but squash - blech!!!
  20. I'm with kyra - I love the smell of lilacs. I love going to bed at night with a window open and a soft breeze carrying the lilac smell into the house... mmm... good night...
  21. I've heard Clint Eastwood a few times (but I think that may just be because I'm an eye squinter in the sun - LOL) I have a feeling you may even be prettier than Elizabeth Montgomery- she was beautiful, but I've seen your albums here - I'm pretty sure she didn't have your curves!
  22. Stick to it - it's really hard to get started, and even harder to keep going. After a while though, it becomes easy to do and you'll actually miss it if you don't do it (whatever it is). Once you've managed to make it a solid habit, try not to skip it... it only takes an "I'll do it tomorrow" and "I can skip today" a few times here and there before you're right back to square one and it's not a habit anymore (funny how easy it is to start bad habits but the good ones are killers!) Even when you're on vacation, squeeze in some of your routine.
