Dreaming happens when you're sleeping, which is a state of unconsciousness, though slightly less permanent for death. However, should you find yourself being dead and looking for something to do, look no further than this song Warren Zevon - Things to do in Denver when you're dead

Wow! That is a pretty stunning number. Which is fitting for such a stunning woman. Congrats Angela! -
Bruce certainly isn't shy to sing about cars, with songs like Cadillac Ranch, Thunder Road, Backstreets and probably a few more. Another guy who likes cars is Neil Young. This song is about his Pontiac Hearse named Mort (aka Mortimer Hearseburg) that he drove from Toronto to LA in the 60's Neil Young - Long May You Run

Well then I guess all gamblers want to do is play cards. Corb Lund - All I want to do is play cards Also, for those foolish enough to enter a card game with Corb Lund, Geoff Berner has a song titled "Don't Play Cards for Money with Corby Lund" though I can't find a recording online anywhere.

CERB Highlights 2011
AndyofHalifax replied to mrrnice2's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
From the sexy side of things... All of Penelope's entries in the Dirty Talking Social Group http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/group.php?groupid=88 For comedic value... Pretty well everything from the Fat Bastard BBM thread http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=63808 A great video posted of an amazing man and scientist... http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=278060&postcount=1083 From a more serious/informative point of view SamanthaEvans post on the Respect thread http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=250046&postcount=35 Also by SamanthaEvans, her thread about reporting a former client to the police http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=66258 Also, a good portion of WrinkledinTime's posts teach me something new or put a new perspective on a topic or are just simply so well written that I always enjoy seeing his name pop up on a thread. There's many many more that I can't think of at the moment as well. -
Of course, the Queen of Hearts is a card. So lets expand to Casinos as a whole. Wilco - Casino Queen

Although quite different from my usual listening fare, I have found myself rather enjoying what I've heard from the latest album from Toronto's own "Fucked Up" album. Admittedly, that is a fairly small selection, but I'm definitely willing to endorse this song. Fucked Up - Queen of Hearts

Sounds like. Two words. Gnarls Barkley! I'm sure everyone has heard this song enough, however, not enough people have read this Malcolm Gladwell article about companies that try to predict hit movies and songs. http://www.gladwell.com/2006/2006_10_16_a_formula.html The computer system in the article correctly predicted that Crazy was going to be a huge hit. Very interesting reading, although it is a few years old now and it would be interesting to follow up and see how successful they have been.

Pink Floyd's The Wall is undeniably a masterpiece. As long as you don't mind being a surrogate therapist to Roger Waters that is (and I mostly don't although it bothers me more after repeated listens). But David Gilmour's guitar work transcends Waters' whinging. Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb (Live 1980)

I like Penelope, because, well, why the hell wouldn't I like Penelope? She's equal parts sweet, saucy, sexy and sultry plus she's always fun to talk to. Thanks Penelope, glad you're back online!

I'll bring it all back home with the Great Scots, otherwise known as Canada's Beatles. These five boys from Nova Scotia flew to New York in 1965 and snuck into a Columbia Records executive's office and were soon playing American Bandstand. They disbanded in 1967 when the lead singer was drafted for the Vietnam war. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBLLpDh41f4

Franz Ferdinand is Scottish. "No you girls will never know; how you make a boy feel" Fitting. Franz Ferdinand - No You Girls

LeeRichards is a helluva guy, and now that Kim Jong-Il is gone, he's the only one that can pull off the 3 wolf shirt with panache.

Congrats RG! Very impressive! -
I like megforfun because she's mysterious to me, what with her lack of avatar and all. We haven't spoken much, but I always enjoy reading her posts. She is a beacon of positivity guiding CERB towards happiness and fun. Thanks and Happy New Year, Meg! Edit: I like RG too. He doesn't beat around the bush and gets right to the point. Too often that means that he beats me to a post. I suppose that means he has a sharp mind and fast fingers! :)
