Today, I learned that there is Google Patents (http://www.google.com/?tbm=pts} which gives details of many patents. Also, keep an eye on Google News, where you can keep up to date on me being the recipient of several forthcoming patent infringement lawsuits.

Given that it has been established that communicating online is not soliciting, and that you wouldn't be legally fooling anyone with these codewords anyway, why do codewords such as Greek, Dining at the Y, etc, still exist? I understand using abbreviations for the sake of brevity (eg. BBBJ), but that isn't always the case when it comes to codewords (eg. Greek). So is it a sense of propriety that keeps these terms in use? Is it better to say Greek than Anal, DATY than cunnilingus? Or is it simply historical? Or am I missing something?

Sounds like a great time! I was there when I was a teenager and it was a very interesting experience, Especially because I was in a smaller city on the island of Kyushu where there aren't many westerners, so I was a point of interest for all the locals. Many of them would point or stare when they saw westerners, and enjoyed practicing their English with you. Enjoy it, Japan has a fascinating history and culture. I'm just glad "Travelling to Japan" isn't a new euphemism I wasn't aware of along the lines of Greek, Russian, etc. :D

My sincere regrets at missing this fantastic event. I was involved in a minor car accident earlier that day and was diagnosed with a concussion. Physically, I'm completely fine, but I've had to stay home and stay off the computer because of light sensitivity. I'm doing fine though and glad everything sounds like it was a big success!
