it might certainly be a south american affair for the semis. Atleast 2 of them being brazil and Argentina might go thru. But i think Holland will take out brazil. Where as the argentina vs germany game is going to be about which defense is more organized on that day because both team are running out of control offensively. Certainly Spain will take out Paraguay so its the uruguay vs ghana game that is hard to call mathematically. My heart is with Ghana on that one.

Absolutely. There is more the 4th official can do other than organize the subsitutions the teams on the field want to make. How did the the ref know in the last world cup final that Zidane head-butted Materrazzi when he didnt see it? it was because of the 4th official intervened. how long did that take? easily less than 10 secs. Which they can always add to the additional minutes before each half is over. Its really not a case of technology anymore its more about what cases the 4th official can intervene that seem very debatable at the point in time of occurrence.

My take at the very beginning when i heard this was going to be in toronto before i moved over to ottawa still stands. they should have chosen different city other than toronto in the first place. The smart ass mayor knows the city is in heavy debt and choses to host this kind of event. Its not like this kind of event will or lure tourists therefore make the city money, IT IS A POLITICAL EVENT, they rarely do. Then you hear how much was spent on security alone. Well the city councils will say its not them paying the bulk of it but also the provincial and federal. Well, no matter what how much the city is involved, its just never going to re-coup that money back but just bring in more devastation in communities and produce a terrible image for the city after all the ad campaigns that went on the last few years about how nice the city is. Basically the mayor is at fault for this. i know what he was trying to do is for a good will and end is tenure in the right way. But i think he needs to look into his council first , there are just too much of them for so and so district. Stop getting suppress by their increasing wage demands and perks. Its only in this line of government workers you see the fastest rise in pay and perks than even the public. Cut all that first. then you can hold viable events for the city and see if that makes money.

I dont know if they move their stands arounds but if they dont There are 2 stands in front of the the CIBC entrance. The one on the right of the 2 stands was where i bought mine. I think you can choose anyone really since they all the same prices, serving the same things. But the sauce for the particular store infront of the CIBC entrance really sold me.

First time going for one of these events although i have come across them in toronto and mississauga but never had the chance to make it there. today was nice though. had 2 rounds of rib and chicken combo and 1 alabama pulled pork sandwish. Really amazing stuff. Might go again on friday.

Yeaa a few lower teams ahve impressed so far except from the African teams. its looking like only Ghana and Ivory coast might make it through. Then You have Chile, Mexico and i'm still looking at Serbia to wake up in the 2nd round. As for the game play, alot of team were just being very cautious using alot of defensive tactics instead of coming out and actually play. With the 2nd round which started today is make or break time for all teams. Score or go home really lol. The Vuvuzela's arent a problem but i do think the ball was poorrly made and not thought out with regards to the altitude of the different cities where the matches are being played. The pundits should not deny that this is having an effect on the game. I would say at the end of the first round alot of the team were being very cautious as taking a draw in the first game would have been seen as a positive result by the coaches. This kind of made the whole competition a bit dull but this 2nd round has been a complete turn around.

From my friends in ottawa, it has been so far so good. I chose not to join them because i just feel these new companies are advertising luxury rates that wont last long due to their loans or capital.

My assumption would be that you installed a software recently or went to a site that installed something into you computer without you knowing and is now being intrusive on the system. It only mean the anti-virus guard didnt do its job of blocking or giving a warming of the installation in the first place. Now since, as i am sure, it has to be an installation of something recent, the only ways to get rid of it is to either: 1) find out what was installed recently on the computer and un-install then scan the computer with the anti-virus and clean up what showed up. 2) do a system restore to a previous day before the software was installed.

Is there a confirmed list of people showing up / a guest list type of thing. Wouldnt mind showing up. its just a couple minutes walk away from me.

As far as i know, Cougar was a term that you would hear among women and their friends of relatively the same 40+ age and all of a sudden became socially and pretty much culturally acceptable mainstream. Where as MILF must have been derived from porn themes as female porn actresses grew older (or in some cases have done a whole lot of scene in just a short period of tiime) and have become very familair or just have that aged look about them. MILF is a throwaway in terms of what it should mean. That is not any woman that looks aged or 40+ should be called that by a man. Since the M stands for Mother, it should generally mean a woman who has atleast had a child regardless of age. Where as Cougar should be a woman, whether or not she has had a child, is dating someone young enough to be her child or looks young enough. So cougar should be the more fancier/general term eventhough it does sound more matriarch.
