Tipping delivery people is the right thing to do and I agree with all of you who have encouraged others to give a generous tip. I just saw a poor delivery guy getting soaked bringing food for someone and I hope he got a good tip. I will not give suggestions other than please always do your best to be considerate and respectful with those in the service industry and what I always try to do ... Treat others the way you would like to be treated if you were in those shoes.

Tim Hortons don't have strawberry cream cheese in their menu anymore :(

These are some of those things that sound easy but we struggle eith everyday. Hopefully we can come back, read the message below and work on it :)

I don't think you were wrong however, her not having recommendations and probably not being a member of a review board doesn't mean she is not a good provider. Maybe she hasn't heard of them or there are none where she is from. I agree with you, she was deffensive which was probably what caused you to decide not to see her but had she reacted different or if ever in a similar situation I would suggest to communicate a bit with the lady in order to get an impression on her and decide to book or not, not all ladies are active on boards same way us providers know not all gentlemen have a reference or are members in review boards.

Skype does not offer numbers for Canada. Here's the link where you can see the list of countries where that feature is available. I think with google voice you can make calls but not receive them. IMO the best for you would be to use a phone application for work on your smart phone.
