Trying to clean up a place and ended up making an even bigger mess :icon_rolleyes:

Some yummy pics on the cravings thread that 2 nice gents posted for me made me smile, but it didn't end there, someone actually showed up with my craving, that so made my day!! Oh, I also found something that ended in the wrong hands and could have caused some drama so my day was good :)

In my case the members that are in my friend's list are there because in a way they have touched/moved me, some I have met some I have not (at least not that I know of ;) ) and probably I never will but they have either put a smile on my face or given me a genuine compliment, taken the the time to give advice/support, inspired me somehow or any other positive contribution, I even have members whose accounts are no longer active but having them there reminds me of them so I don't plan on deleting them, at least not for now, in fact there have been a couple of times when differences came up with friends I had there, I never deleted them as it was nothing serious and there once was a good reason to have them in that list and friends have good and bad days, I know is not the same with friends here but kind of. I don't randomly accept or send requests, before I used to send a PM thanking them for the request hoping they would respond and give me an idea on why they wanted me to add them to my list but I rarely got a reply so I just add those who actually take the time to communicate with me in one way or another. Wow I think I just made waterat's post the clearest one as mine could not be more confusing lol.

Having a great breakfast which includes french orange juice & starbucks and with great company ... to think my day is just starting :)

Walking by the mall and noticing swarovski has hello kitty accesories was definitely my highlight of the day. That and the sun coming out :) Posted via Mobile Device

I finally found a place with authentic Mexican food. it was so good I'll share the info with you :tongue: The place is called 'Los tacos de Mauro' and is located in the market, on 349 Dalhousie, right beside Dunn's diner. They have one menu on weekdays and a different one for weekends, they are both great!!

I don't know how to give rep points with my mobile so @old dog, too funny, as always :) valid points on why you guys choose to buy or not buy starbucks coffee but with all due respect I think the thread is being hijacked or going a different direction. The OP asked what are our starbucks favourite drinks not if we find it overpriced or not, or worth its price. I find different things inspire me every day but of course there's some that stay for ever. For me, my biggest inspiration are my parents they are 2 great people that have not always had it easy and in different ways as they each have their own personality but they did not let anyone stop them from getting where and what they wanted. Also, again in different ways they are very caring people and they have and actually keep teaching me stuff but not only with words but with their actions. Children also inspire me, their energy the way they enjoy the silliest things, how they don't care who is watching or what others think. People who always or almost always see the positive side of things and situations. Those who have a lot less (and I'm not just talking material things) than me and irradiate happiness are amazing and of course an inspiration. Wow what an awesome thread, love it!! Thanks Castle for starting it :)

Ok perhaps you may not have nominated her based on the recommendations but I don't quite get what you mean by her contributions, before making my previous post I actually checked her posts and they are are all or mostly ads. I may be wrong and if so I apologize but I don't think having posts from members in a profile and the amount of friends in your list are reasons to be nominated as a valued member.

According to the requirement below she can't be nominated : This is not an award for best service (that is what the recommendations sections are for) this is a award to recognize the service providers who join in the conversations, help answer some questions and give you a little view into the other side of the business!

I like how Kubrickfan no matter what topic is being discussed always does it in a tactful way and with respect.

Sadly it has, some (myself included) consider it more convenient and don't get me wrong they sure are but there are situations where either a call or a face to face conversation is needed in order to get the real message the other party is trying to send.
