  1. Sarcasticsid ... Congratulations!! More than one of your posts have been of big help to me thanks a lot :) Gia
  2. Meg thank you!! How could I forget my CPK collection? You have no idea how much I cried when my mom got rid of them. I still love them  (not really embarassed but a my age I thought the embarassed smiley would be appropriate lol)
  3. This is not an email but some ppl trying to take advantage of a natural disaster to scam those trying to help so watch out before you donate! No wonder why some have become hesitant to help others.
  4. Barbie was my favourite toy I think mostly because I loved buying clothes and shoes for them. Now I do that for myself :) I also spent a lot of time & had so much fun with this ...
  5. Who doesn't like shopping? I know you guys are nodding and thinking 'not me' but hopefully this will change your mind. Just received an email with a promotion for Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy. Not only you'll get 30% off but wil get to help too. I am not allowed to provide any details in the general area so if interested please visit the charity group. Have fun shopping. I will :)
  6. I want to thank all those who have joined the charity and the chicken soup for the cerbites soul groups, let's try not to forget to visit them once in a while, especially in times when we know our contributions can make a difference :)
  7. Today is our day. Through my life I have had the pleasure of meeting great women and during my time on cerb (mostly through posts) I have learned a bit from great women too so ...
  8. Found this today http://www.brandonsun.com/breaking-news/judge-at-heart-of-firestorm-pulled-off-trial-117393568.html?viewAllComments=y My thoughts? I hope never to be in court with a judge like that. Basically the message he is giving is criminals can get away if they were 'provoked' ... If you dress sexy you can be raped, if you leave bank with money in your hands it can be stolen no consequence to thief as you didn't put it away?? What a shame!
  9. Like I was not feeling in a Grinch mood already I came across this article which really made me sick but mostly sad  Repulsion is the word that comes to my mind towards this Gadhafi 'person' (if he can be considered one). Admiration is what I feel for all those people fighting for a better country and indignation that with 2000 people dead already, nothing can be done and that the ones by his side don't turn their backs on him and stick with their people  Ugh as I said I'm grumpy today so not very inspired but had to let this out, so there :ablow: IG
  10. This evening as I was in chat, I found myself asking the person I was having a conversation with a very silly question, and to think I used to believe I was smart he he. After a long pause in the conversation I sent a message that said 'Are you gone?' like if he was he would actually respond back, duh!! This made me realize how often some of us tend to do this so, with no other intention that us cerbites having a good laugh I ask you to share some of this non-sense comments :icon_lol: Let's have some fun!!
  11. I can't believe no thread yet about this very important day. Anyway, not here to lecture but to wish you a ... xoxo, Isabella
  12. Meg, you may be right on what that article says if we base it on the definition of cure which is 'to restore health'. Yes, these treatments do this in some cases but what they don't mention is they only keep the virus 'passive' (that's how doctors call it) but do not kill it so even when the person does not present symptoms this does not prevent the spread of the virus which is important for those who have it to keep in mind to avoid giving it to others. Is a shame they don't mention this as in my opinion they only care to show their achievements and have recognition for this without being 100% honest about it. I found a warning on this medications that may be worth reading. I apologize if I sound a bit passionate on this but have been close to this topic for years as my grandma died from it, 3 of my aunts/uncles currently suffer of it as well as a close friend of mine and they all stopped taking treatment because the side effects were too agressive and the results not so good.
  13. There is no cure for hepatitis C. There are only treatments that supress the virus for a long period of time and decrease the damage it causes but the virus remains in the body.
  14. Two things Al, I have not met Soleil but have communicated through few PM's & emails as well as have learned a bit of her personality from her posts (you of course having had the chance to actually met he know better than me) and I very much doubt she would turn someone down by his voice b and this is where my second point comes, I'm sure you think your voice is a lot worse than it really is, us humans tend to understimate ourselves a bit. So, to make my comment belong a little in the thread I do appreciate when a gentleman is interested in meeting me for him to share a bit about him and tell me if he has particular expectations so that if there is something I would not feel comfortable with or not willing to do I rather suggest for him to meet other SP. I always always invite gentlemen requesting an appointment to visit my website to avoid false expectations or disappointment.
  15. Oops you are right. To the OP , first of ignore my previous post. Second, if as other have advised, you are respectful and show up with good hygiene then you should get the most mileage based on what the lady you are visiting offers. I may be wrong but in my opinion nothing you do (unless she advertises offering extras) will make her do more activities than the ones she has posted in her ads or website. My point being if a lady is a professional she will not deny or provide anything extra. So as many have suggested, do your research, and try to communicate beforehand booking to confirm what you can expect from the particular lady you intend to meet. Good luck :)
  16. She actually asked if any ladies are interested to PM her. I find somehow inapropriate to suggest someone, as flattering as it would be for the lady who was suggested and as good the intentions of the member who suggested her for this may be, it could get awkward if the lady is not interested and she gets asked.
  17. Here's a thread on that topic I started after listening few stories I heard on what some 'consider' YYMV. It may give you some idea on what it means.
  18. I have opened two groups here but this one is different to start with because I can't entirely take credit for it. A couple of days ago received a PM from a member asking me if I knew of a group one could join for emotional support. I felt terrible for not being able to help so I came up with this idea, a group where we can either visit when feeling a little sad or to offer support to others so we now have 'Chicken soup for the Cerbites Soul' which will hopefully help many and make those tough times little easier :) xoxo Isabella Gia
  19. Hmmm ... I would not be so sure about that as I have read many ads here offering specials which in the end is a discount only using a different word. I personally don't find his post offensive plus think when posting he knew he would probably get no response, but don't think he was expecting negative responses though as in my opinion his post was written in a respectful way and he probably already got some PM's from ladies asking what his budget is as he did not especify how 'inexpensive' he's looking for oh, and I don't think inexpensive = cheap. Let's also not forget some here are 'people of few words' and have a hard time trying to put in words the idea we are trying to express.
