Came across this article and I found it very touching so I want to share it with you. Most of the time we read/watch news that upset us so here's one that in my case made me feel positive emotions so, enjoy! Mother brings baby back to life with a cuddle Fri Sep 3, 6:23 PM By Jordan Chittley Yahoo! Canada News All it took was a mother's touch and baby Jamie was breathing again. Mother Kate Ogg, of Australia, recently delivered twins, Emily and Jamie, premature at just 27 weeks. While Emily was delivered successfully, doctors battled to try to get Jamie breathing. After a 20-minute effort with the one-kilogram infant, doctors gave up hope and declared him dead. "He (the doctor) said, 'Have you chosen a name for your son?'," Ogg told CNN on the brink of tears. "We said his name is going to be Jamie and he turned around with him already wrapped up and said we lost him." Doctors then gave lifeless Jamie to his tearful mother to say goodbye. She unwrapped him from his blanket, told him how much she loved him and held him tight against her skin. "I arranged him on my chest with his head on my heart," she said. "We wanted him to know who his parents were and to know we loved him before he died," she told NBC's Today Show. "We tried to entice him to stay with us." Shortly after Jamie was handed to his mother he started making small movements, but this was dismissed by doctors as a normal reflex. After being embraced and spoken to for two hours, the movements were getting stronger and he even opened his eyes. "We thought, what a blessing, we get to see his eyes before he passes away," she told NBC's Today Show. "And then they stayed open." Kate fed him some breast milk on her finger and Jamie started breathing normally and put his little fingers around Kate's husband David's finger. David told NBC's Today Show, "We are the luckiest people in the world." Kate used a method called the "kangaroo cuddle" to bring Jamie back to life. Kate said she had read about the method before and putting the baby back on her chest was as close as he could get to being inside her. It is named after the way kangaroos hold their young in pouches, which act as incubators. In many cases, if there is a problem with child birth the baby is rushed to intensive care, but the kangaroo method is being increasingly used in British hospitals. "Kangaroo care" allows mothers to warm the body temperature of babies, especially premature ones that are born with lower core body temperatures. Research from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm found that after four hours of cuddling, 90 per cent of babies had normal body temperatures. Only 60 per cent of babies placed in incubators regained normal body temperature.

Why we ask for refferences...
Isabella Gia (Banned) replied to Grass_Hopper's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
I would say cerb handles are not a reference no matter how many posts the member has. In my personal experience I have had good get-together with more than one member with zero posts and one bad encounter with a member with many many posts. Yes, I do feel safe meeting cerb members but the number of posts he has is not in the list of things I consider to meet or not the person. IMO the lady should contact you back at least to explain the reasons why she will not see you. -
A while ago I posted a thread about what us ladies mean when we post our ads and how sometimes they are misread giving a chance to explain that we would appreciate readers going through them a little more carefully. Today I was thinking how I have read a few ads where IMO the approach of some of the information provided is a little inappropriate (I may be wrong and not judging anyone for this) but made me realize I may have done that in one or more occasion and have not noticed. So I decided to post this for you gents to help us out and tell us a bit about what you do not like reading in an ad but please DO NOT MENTION ANY NAMES as the only purpose of the thread is us ladies getting some tips. Thanks :)

Clean towel
Isabella Gia (Banned) replied to c****s m********a's topic in Ottawa Discussion - Escorts
I always bring bottled water, do not trust hotel glasses. I actually have thought about it, I know ppl do not wash their hands as often as they should so I always carry my bleach wipes and spray. -
I agree they have great stuff and I'll be going to Toronto as soon as I have the chance :)

Sex Work is Work!
Isabella Gia (Banned) replied to Megan'sTouch's topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Thank you Megan for this post. I have to admit I was one of those who would not like calling this work (mostly because I do not do it full time) until I read this and you are so right. I too have another part-time job that most of the time I enjoy very very much and that does not mean is not work :) -
Clean towel

I am sure Angela meant the SP not the client :) I bring mine, figured they are softer and of course cleaner than the ones provided by hotel. -
So I just created my first group. See? Today I read a post from our Dear Masterowls sharing how difficult some circumstances he goes through can be. He gave me his consent to mention him and his post but I know there is other members here through his same or similar situation. So this group is with the only purpose to give them advice and probably for the ones that have the time and willing to, well give ideas, contribution and probably offer a way to help? I will be posting as I'm sure they will be too sharing their particular needs. Hope to have many of you joining us. http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/group.php?groupid=44 Thank you all in advance! IG

Etiquette Question - Tipping
Isabella Gia (Banned) replied to Incognito's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
This is the kind of tip/gift I was talking about that IMO wins over some extra cash. It not only shows appreciation from the client but is also great that he remembered about it and put an extra effort getting it. -
Etiquette Question - Tipping
Isabella Gia (Banned) replied to Incognito's topic in New to this? Things you should know...
Very sweet thing of you to do ATH and great that she still appreciates it. Just like most ladies have commented I do not expect a tip neither do I ask for any gifts but I don't think cash always wins. I feel happier when a client brings something thoughtful for me :) However Etas made a very good point by saying there is a difference between a gift and a tip. So either of them I'm grateful. -
Ladies, how big a problem is
Isabella Gia (Banned) replied to a topic in General Discussion Area - all of Canada
Well, yes it can be immature depending on what the intention of the comment was. I replied to one of his posts and admit it was not the best way to do it but the message I wanted to give was that a lady who decides to spend time with someone expects respect and I did not see any of it in his reply. However yes, let's not make the thread about that unfortunate situation and go back to the original topic, perhaps a thread on respect and approaches can be started but also not mentioning any particular names. So, back to the original post I have never been in a situation were a client shows under the influence of alcohol or drugs. So thank you for the ladies who have been through that experience and commented how they handled it. It will help me have some idea of what to do if it ever happens to me. -
Ladies, how big a problem is

And I assume the little luck you are referring to is that those fine ladies you met have not read this thread?? -
Tulsa for what I read looks like the guys that wrote in here appreciated more your company than the 'services' you provide . Ok , a little of both ? lol Also don't forget is likely not you doing something wrong but not clicking with that particular person. The important thing is when you know you gave the best of you :) Guys & of course Tulsa hope you don't mind having another lady posting here if so, my apologies.

What a great age Gboy. Happy bday!!! -
I know many members here do not use the chat feature. As one of the members who does I have witnessed a few things that IMO shouldn't be happening there and that probably have caused some of the members not using it anymore. Please when you read this keep in mind is not a rant or me trying to tell others what to do is more like a reminder to all of us and giving my point of view as well as suggesting things that may make a difference in the chat room. 1. Start and carry conversation politely. 2. Whisper or use private chat for specific questions, to book, etc. 3. This apply for sp's and hobbysts ... If you do not get what you were looking for from the person you are chatting with the ideal would be to have the courtesy to notify the other instead of just closing the window/leaving chat. 4. Guys I know you like to discuss about some of the ladies but what about trying to keep specific details private and perhaps whisper? Keep in mind whisper sometimes fails, I have been a victim of that a couple of times (ok more than that lol) 5. No arguing or trying to put someone in evidence in open chat or getting other users involved in a particular situation. Again, this is not me trying to list rules, just suggestions to keep chat a cool place to get to know other members :-)

It's time - Social in Ottawa!

Jazzi, The pic is gone again  -
So there I was yesterday night on chat when as part of our conversation someone mentioned having seen my schedule for today (I posted an availability from 10am to 10pm) tho what he said 'wow that is a long day of work'. To which I responded 'not really' and explained him that I advertise my availability but that does not mean I am taking appointments all that time. And right then I remembered how it has been mentioned in other threads the way sometimes what we post in our ads is not quite understood so ladies here is our chance, anything else that you have been questioned from your ads and you would like to explain to our gents here? Let's help them understand us and our ads :-)

When did I mention hobbyists or SP's using CL not being worth or being less than the ones in here? In fact I did not once mention any of the points you bring up ... my comments were not referred to respect, no shows, reputations, etc. I actually said it is great that the guys ask ladies they meet from there to join Cerb and that is very admirable that ladies here only mention the site when it comes to warn others from a safety issue so I invite you to re-read my post as apparently my message was misunderstood. The thoughts I tried to express are that IMO is not right to use a site that does not agree with the way this other site works as a tool to find information that can't be found there due to the lack of professionalism from the people who run it.

Hmmm ... I was going to stay away from the thread as it is becoming a dialogue between SA and myself but IMO and I know as I can see MANY here will not agree this is the perfect example of all those who complain about something but keep doing it because everyone else still do it and that is how it never ends. My point is the less men use CL the more SP's will have to find another place to advertise and yes, hopefully a safer one.
