What is wrong with people when the person (Reddog01) who suggests this could be done in a more respectful way is the one who ends up apologizing. I understand we all get frustrated at times and yes we are free to express that however we choose, but in order to share it with others (especially if posting) in my opinion one should find a way to do it so that nobody feels uncomfortable by it. When the negotiation mentioned in the original post is compared to how a boss/employee would react well, normally an employee has a salary not a rate. We (sp's) do not have a boss nor a salary so is not the same. However, people who do business in any field working independent or having a boss often try to negotiate or get deals and constantly get no for an answer, then they decide if go for another option or taking that one if it covers their needs and suits their budget or look somewhere else. I do know some men think our profession is different and allows them to ask for things they wouldn't ask for anywhere else but Miel as you mentioned you are classy, so just decline that way and if they are the kind that don't listen just say 'I have already said no so will hang up now, thank you for calling' Now, Old Dog, is such a shame that happened to you but is a complete different situation as in your case they stole something from you, this is not the case here as asking for a discount or extras is not stealing from someone, some consider it disrespectful yes but still is different.

Hey Malika, is so good to hear from you :grin:. I'd suggest you do some real thinking to what are the reasons for you to want to come back and write a pros/cons list, then based on that make the decision once you are completely sure that is what YOU want. Coming back having doubts will not make you happy and you may lose credibility with the guys which would be unfair as you now have a good reputation here. All the best for you!

Hello, Unfortunately my website is currently down as apparently the host I was dealing with does not allow adult content. BTW I apologize to the ones that have visited and were not able to see any information. I went through their abuse policy and it mentions that .. Any text which describes, refers to, or alludes to services, stories, or products of an adult or sexual nature is a violation of our terms. Which kind of explains why they removed my site. I'm doing research on other sites that would host my domain, this time reading the terms of service and all it says regarding what they consider unacceptable is ... Pirated Software / Warez, Escrow, High-Yield Interest Programs (HYIP) or related sites, Investment sites (FOREX, egold exchange), sale of any controlled substance without prior proof of appropriate permit(s), AutoSurf sites, Bank Debentures, Bank Debenture Trading Programs, Prime Banks Programs, lottery sites, hate sites, hacker focused sites/archives/programs, or sites promoting illegal activities*, IP Scanners, Brute Force Programs, Mail Bombers and Spam Scripts. Forums and or websites that distribute or link to warez content are prohibited. * From what I have learned here advertising or in this case building a website describing my services is not illegal, am I right? No, please don't get me wrong. I didn't mean a lady that works for an agency, I meant the impression I got is of him talking about the agency itself not a lady in particular. I would never be 'ok' with that term being used for any person no matter what kind of service is provided. This is the first time I hear that word to refer to an SP , it is sad what Emma says that is used often.

I think I know which thread you are talking about and yes, at first I got upset but then as I kept reading I found the member that replied referring to the SP in question with the word 'used' thought it was an agency or that's the impression I got, I guess if he reads this he'll clarify that for us.
