    Morning All. Again, to all my Cerb Family, thank you for the continued support, prayers and best wishes, it means a lot! Sooooo, as most of you know, I went to the Cancer Clinic at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbour to see if they had any ideas on how to fuck this cancer up. Got stuck with lots of needles, probes, scans and ended up pissing in technocolour (with the help of alcohol), see previous post...or not!. There was a conference call yesterday afternoon, with myself and the local docs, plus the docs from Toronto and Michigan. Here is the result: -The cancer that attacked the muscle around the shoulder is rare (around 1 in 750 cancer patients have this type floating around) but not so rare they were scratching their heads. -It spread, however the good news is it missed the lymph nodes under the arm (which would have meant a very short game plan for me!!!) -However it has spread to the lymph nodes in the neck and the muscle that surrounds the spinal cord (medulla oblongata?) that interfaces with the brain stuff. Bottom line, they have deemed it stage 3, with minimal options with significant, severe consequences including looking like a zombie with major holes cut out (unless Walking Dead is going for another couple of seasons and they need a new leading zombie !) . So will continue with chemo about every eight to twelve weeks to try and slow it down, rest whenever, and live life LARGE until I can't function any more, hopefully 3-5 years, worse case 18-24 months. So unless I get hit by a bus or swallowed up by a City of Ottawa sinkhole, or die in bed because of being drowned by Cerb ladies continuously squirting in my face for three continuous days (the CIA should have done this to the Taliban instead of water boarding!!) I will be around Cerb and you good folks until I can't play any more. THE OTHER GOOD NEWS.....IS THAT MY TONGUE STILL AND WILL CONTINUE TO FUNCTION UNTIL I AM PUT INTO THE GROUND!!!!!! This weekend will be spent telling family and friends in Southern Ontario what is going on and probably drinking lots of 30 year old Macallum single malt scotch. Well, that is it for now!     OMG! now I know why the folks at the UoM Cancer Clinic "recommended" that I should not drink alcohol for 48 - 72 hours! Thought I was pissing for a Kodak moment! After drinking (inhaling) beer and shooters with my buddies in Detroit Sunday night, got into my son's house in Toronto, and immediately went to the bathroom. Standing there doing my thing, and a Bright Blue stream is coming out of my cock!!! My kidneys are hurting and I am waiting for the CBS Peacock to come walking in to observe. Just about gave me a heart attack. Call the CC, after they stopped laughing, gave me a "told you so" said it was a reaction to one of the tracing drugs they gave me and the alcohol I drank.     Well that was fun.......not! Had more fluid drained out of me than back, to back, to back and back again blow jobs!! Feel like I slept with an ugly cactus, and look like it as well! Will get some results today before I leave at noon, the rest by the end of the week. Same sort of timing we get with the Ontario health system right? Going to Greek Town in Detroit to watch the Lions play, eat and drink the rest of the day and crawl onto Air Chance, I mean Air Canada to Toronto, until the end of the week.     Good evening All! First a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you who have shouted out in support, offered up prayers and good wishes over the last week and a half. I really really appreciate it! Just confirmed today that I am going to be evaluated at the University of Michigan, who has a cancer research facility beside "The Big House" their 110,000 seat football stadium. Good thing I am already a fan of the Wolverines! They are going to look at why the cancer cells are attacking the muscle structure and then discuss the situation with the folks at both Princess Margaret in Toronto and QCH here to determine next steps.     While attending university at New Mexico State on a golf scholarship,my four other team members and needed some extra play money. So we decided to offer "massages" which turned into a full service opportunity. We took massage courses, started with female students for $50, then female teacher assistants who were charged $75, then female prof's and some of the alumni at $100. First year, we cleared $10000 each! Second year, we did not focus on students or TA's, targeting prof's and alumni. Then we were going well, 20 something's giving massages and lots of oral (hence the beginning of my nick name) three or four times a week. We had a receptionist, business cards and tons of fun. Perfect! My buddy and I go, get to the house, confirmed that the husband was away, got our money and we went up to the bedroom. I look up, face very wet, and look up to see the university President!! Oops! We get thrown out of the house, next morning we get summoned to the Provost office, handed our " your thrown out of school" letter, scholarships cancelled and Immigration called! Oh we'll, it was fun! Additional Comments: When I got back to Canada, applied to the university of Windsor, got accepted, only to find out that they only gave me credit for three courses after two and a half years!!! Oh well, at least I got to perfect my massage skills, and my oral skills. I think my tongue should have been the valedictorian that year!

    As some of you now know the cancer doc's are putting me through another bunch of tests. It appears that the cancer did spread to the muscles surrounding the arm pit (isn't that just stinky) and probably to the pectoral muscle. More alarming is that they think there is a strong possibility that the lymph nodes are now involved, not cool. So more tests, probes, needles, probably chemo, probably surgery is in my future. I want to thank all the kind folks that have sent me heartfelt messages of encouragement, it is really appreciated. I will try and continue to play whenever I don't feel like a bag of hammers (thank heaven that my tongue is still in working order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Once the prodding and poking starts, my days as a two handed masseuse will be limited (again, thank heaven my tongue is still in working order!!!!!!). Will continue to share this journey until the majority tell me to shut up. If I don't make it to the Ottawa Social, have a drink for me!!! Cheers and Thanx tom theliquor

    Well amongst everything else going on, last night's storm that came off the Ottawa River and knocked down an older weeping willow. Not a big deal, right? Wrong, unfortunately it ended up on / in my neighbours garage, tore open its roof and his Miata convertible got an unexpected car wash, including the interior. Nobody's fault, as a friend told me last night "shit happens". So call the insurance company, "ok they say, we can have an adjuster out there right away". "Right away" turned out to be 03:00 this morning, as they did not tell me he was driving from Toronto!!!! Although VERY tempted, I did not go postal on him, made some coffee and did the paper work. Moral of the story, shit does happen, this served to keep my mind off today's and tomorrow's chemo treatment and no one was hurt. Move on. Have a good one folks. TL
