Going to the Dentist for my annual checkup and cleaning in July; and not having seen my family friend Dentist since his wife was murdered at their summer home in Mexico. Can you say awkward and emotional? Thankfully I've hugged my dentist before so that wont be so weird.

SP's are as different as Hobbiests. Some prefer variety, some prefer regulars. Both are fine. Having regular or semi-regular clients does indeed build up trust and friendship, and in my opinion, makes our playdates more intimate for exploration of other fantasies, and much much more familiar with each other likes, and bodies. This is especially true with my 6 hr Playcation Gents. And sometimes they share personal problems or accomplishments, or a story in their personal life, knowing that the friendly "bartender" is just an unbiased ear for them to run stuff by. It doesn't mean any lines have been crossed; it's because of the trust and our knowledge that this is as far as it goes. Also, to be honest, meeting new play partners always makes me a little nervous. Excited yes, but I always have wee butterflies usually for the first few minutes. :icon_redface: As long as all parties understand that it is a friendly business relationship; it's all good.

So I think we can agree that there is nothing wrong with lurking; as everyone has their own reasons for being here. I liked the challenge because it might give someone who is a little shy inspiration to share their pearls of wisdom, or humour, or whatever. I doubt it was ever intended for anything other than that. Lurker can have negative connotations, and I like the word Observer. :)

Central A/C And yes it does effect my performance. I am a summer person and dislike Winter. I was probably Latino in a previous life. :) In the summer I feel better, I can go camping and be outside more, wear less clothes (you should see what I have on right now!), more freedom to explore places, wear less clothes...oops I said that already. My mindset is much better (not that it's bad in the Winter, just better in the summer) and I suspect it reflects in my personality in the boudoir as well.

I would like to think I'm both. If I have something to say, I do. Otherwise, I may read a thread, but have nothing to add. People are here for different reasons. To find an SP, be part of a community, share in a forum, whatever. But I will say, that at the moment I am on several forums, and am really only chatty here on CERB. :)

LOL Well I was totally out of my element and kept thinking...what am I doing, this is so not me?? But I wasn't very nervous. I'd been having sex of all varieties, after all, for years before making the leap 2 years ago to SP. And then the appt happened and all that went out the window. But I was a lucky one as someone took me under her wing and taught me the ins and outs. He was a regular of hers, and I was at her location and I had excited goosebumps and felt like throwing up at the same time. He was a gentleman; we had a wonderful time together, and I still see him occasionally. But the time went by so fast. I do get nervous meeting new playdates however. And I suspect other SP's do as well. But most times the minute you are in the door and we chat a while, neither of us are by that point. I think. I hope. :) I have had other women advise me and help me grow in this industry...to exactly who I want to be. It wasn't a far trip as I am transparent as glass and I guess Clients sense that after a few minutes. I am grateful and appreciative of these women who took their time and wisdom and shared. I've made mistakes, embarrassed myself inadvertently, dislocated a Gents shoulder (oops), had my pearls run all over a Gents hotel room, fallen off the bed (more than once), cum on my own face (another story unto itself), had mysterious bruises, exhausted one of my regulars and he had to have a nap before he left, got really hammered at a social, and on and on. And I've never had a bad date. A few no shows. But damn I'm a lucky woman. And I thank CERB for that.

I think somewhere along the way something got lost. CB is looking to "practice", not find ladies while doing so. Social dating/time is offered by many SP's, and yes it is the fantasy that accompanies you. But...if you are upfront about what you are looking for; I suspect one would not hesitate to be upfront back at you, whether in the bedroom, Timmies or at Beckta. I feel that just because you are seeing Chanel, my experience as a woman is no different. I do other types of ...ahem, training. How is this different?

To keep my location discreet I only do daytime incalls. Nobody is around or napping. But in the evening my little Mooneys Bay neighbourhood comes alive with folks barbequeing, walking their dogs, walking themselves, chit chatting on front porches. I kind of like it that way. I am due for a hotel stay downtown soon though. Total pamperage AND play!

I tried once for 6 months to quit and did it the gov't's way. But sitting in bars listening to music got in the way, and the next thing I knew there was that damn ciggie back between my fingers. About 10 years ago I was sitting at the comp writing a dry history article with half my ear to CNN. There had just been a study released by the AMA that there was a direct link to smoking and the cancer I was in the middle of fighting. Put my smoke out and that was it. However, having said that, I do enjoy one from time to time. Especially if alcohol and lots of happy people are involved. lol

My precious Jake. He has seen me through so much in the 10 years I had him. He was a rescue and at 6 yrs old had some pretty bizarre hardwiring. He was also a special needs dog. I will miss him very much, but look forward to the day I am ready for a new pitter patter in my home.

You are correct cat. And reco's are from the perspective of the person writing it. They don't tell the whole story either. I agree with Boomer that the reputation of the poster is more important than how many reco's folks have. Of course they are important if you are looking for that "special" something you want, but there are so many Ladies here, that you can browse to your hearts content.
