I got the taste for mayo on fries when I was a kid in the '60s and dad was posted overseas in West Germany. That's how fries were served there...with mayo. So the line from Pulp Fiction (meme above) is pretty much true...except mayo for fries is likely a European condiment. Started off this morning with a small dose (can only afford to lose a couple brain cells a day 😆) "Rambo 2" Just finished watching "The Upside"...wasn't sure I'd like it but was a pretty good movie starring Bryan Cranston, Kevin Hart, Nicole Kidman I'd recommend it (The Upside that is) a good movie to watch. Real F*cking Things That Suck The federal f*cking government can't do one damn thing right Last year they mailed me my CPP application which I applied for immediately...my first CPP cheque should have come in April 2021 Government has no records of sending it nor me applying for CPP. I read off all sorts of numbers including form number of the form they sent me...guess what they sent me the wrong form...like how the f*ck was I supposed to know the correct paperwork when CPP doesn't even know it's own paperwork Just thankful I saved copies for my own records or I'd really be f*cked and I have a retirement pension from where I worked to live on A Grumbling Pissed Off FFS Rambling RG 😡

My favorite...??? hard to say. I use it lots for chilli, spaghetti sauce, pot roast, roast pork, soups, etc...at least 2 times usually more a month For me after my coffee maker and Vitamix I find it the most useful kitchen appliance I have Now I'm hungry...again A Rambling RG

Couple Highlights Still feeling high about how much I've lost...sorry don't intend to sound like I'm boasting just this is as major for me as quitting smoking is for a former smoker (best analogy I can think of) Weekend chore I hate...laundry...which I do Sunday mornings I got done today. Dumb luck laundry room was free...so my weekend is free for me now 😃 Right now sucking back a cold (no alcohol) 🍺 wearing warm...well hot lounge pants and t-shirt fresh from the dryer The biggest...finally after a few extremely frustrating weeks of telephone tag to different customer service🙄 depts in provincial ministry of finance and ministry of transportation to get wrongful fines off my record (they had unpaid parking tickets showing on my records...never had a parking ticket, much less an unpaid one) Talk about extremely frustrating...putting it mildly But I got told today it has been cleared off my records...ahh hallelujah A Friday Full Of Highlights Rambling RG 🙂

I've got one date, date already paid for in full but actual date TBD, but likely to be consimated this summer (factoring in getting the vaccine, lock down lifted (and we're Ford and covid free too lol) I'm going to contact and book another lady...again date TBD. Some questions maybe some can answer/give input on. What is travel like? I'm going to have to drive a couple hours to T.O. for an outcall. Is traveling in-province a hassle or not...you can hear different things on media. Speaking of which is isolation after travel strongly enforced or people's word taken they'll self isolate Getting a hotel...a problem or not. And dinner out, with restaurants closed would companions like take out/delivery (eg pizza...def no pineapple lol🍕) or some other options Anyhow throwing all that out for discussion A Rambling Response RG

Bought a bathroom scale today...yes loose fitting clothes were my first hint and I know this scale and my old scale may not match 100% but it looks like I've lost drumroll............ 32 pounds!!! No not saying my weight because I'm still overweight (but can see my toes when I p** lol) and you'll know how overweight I was Only thing I can factor for this weight loss is my daily physiotherapy exercises I may starting next week venture short walks (with my cane still)...I feel kind of motivated An invigorated lighter rambling RG

I answered yes only because on Tuesday (May 4) I get my first shot...yay road trip to Peterborough. Could be worse, cashier at grocery store told me she has to go all the way to Lindsay. (put in context I live close to western side of Trenton...joy's of smalltown living lol) Could have drawn short straw and had to go to Apsley or Lindsay so not complaining Anyhow back to my point...I'll be having a date this summer (all other things being equal eg lock downs etc) and making plans for another date too (including pre-payment in full) As for proof...no. As analogy we don't ask each other for proof of STD-STI testing, so why now ask for proof of covid vaccination? So I plan to see one of my favorite ladies and hopefully meet another who also becomes a favorite A Locked Up Rambling RG

Maybe reading too much in this, maybe it's just coincidence but today driving to and from Peterborough, round trip two hours for me didn't see one police car. And the route I take policed by three different OPP detachments plus one city police force. I'm not saying the police are doing what they can to descalate the "fire" Ford started, just it was unusual to not see even one cruiser or one speed trap on this trip to and from Peterborough. Every trip except this one you'd see the police Just an observation nothing more though A Rambling Still...don't speed lol RG

All I got back were messages I had saved (some very important like my covid vaccination appointment)...I don't know if I got any texts or phone calls though nothing showed but maybe yesterday no one even called...don't know RG

My phone out all day...back about an hour or so ago. Phone is everything...phone, internet, email, text, banking etc etc etc...and in this day and age people live through their cell phones, not land lines Very quiet day Glad...touch wood Rogers is back RG
