  1. Happy Birthday newboy Enjoy your special day RG
  2. Past posts (pre C36) shouldn't, (and I'm neither a lawyer nor do I run CERB LOL)be at issue. There were no laws broken at that time, so why the need to remove those posts? Something else that likely needs to be changed on CERB is the recommendation template, no checklist of services a lady offered/provided. And posters must ensure their reco's don't breech C36 law...maybe recos have a moderation period before getting posted Anyhow, a late night rambling before bedtime F*uck C36 Peter MacKay , Stephen Harper and the CPC suck!!! RG
  3. Had my Thanksgiving Dinner Polished off a whole bottle of (no alcohol ;-)) wine :-) Got the dishes done...including the slow cooker Now sitting down, feet up enjoying Apple Crumble Tarts for desert and Nabob enjoying some Hagen Daz vanilla ice cream while surfing CERB and watching tv RG
  4. Fat Bastards BBM is pretty cheap...we can provide our time and companionship at no money. Our menu, well we like anything with bacon RG
  5. Personally I think it goes on too long. I am so glad when January rolls around and things get back to normal. Just a week or so ago I was in Costco and they had Christmas wrapping paper out. Then hit Canadian Tire, and they were getting their Christmas stuff out Like WTF, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Remembrance Day haven't even come Christmas has lost any meaning, it's just a commercial holiday anymore. About the only sane act our family has done is we now limit our gifts to $50...be it cash, gift card or gift...and even family gifts are more obligation than something I like to do. Now gifts for friends, something else, I like giving those :-) A rambling RG
  6. Having a glass of MADD Virgin Blanc wine ;-) (no alcohol wine) watching tv, surfing CERB and waiting for 4pm, when it comes time to mix up the dumpling batter and finish making Thanksgiving dinner (chicken and dumplings) RG
  7. Maybe the idea seemed harmless at the time but now, in practice it seems too intimate an activity for her, a married woman, to do with another man. Or maybe she did it for short term reasons, ie financial, which she has met. The only person who could really answer that question is her. But irrespective of her reasons for agreeing to do it to begin with, she should be free to change her mind at anytime. How many times, for example has a lady started as an SP only to find out it isn't right for her and she retires. When that happens the lady's decision is respected, it should be respected here too My two cents RG
  8. From Russia With Love RG
  9. My feline alarm clock, Nabob woke me up...early again. But I put the time to good use First, two coffees and two apple crumble tarts for breakfast :-) Then into the kitchen I went, my Thanksgiving dinner (chicken and dumplings) in the slow cooker. Then the dishes done. Now I'm sitting down enjoying coffee number three. 4pm I make up the dumplings, at 5pm dinnertime :-) RG
  10. Happy Birthday Hastings Enjoy your special day RG
  11. It may not hurt her now because she is retired but it isn't about her getting hurt. Trust is about character, and if she truly believed and brought the case all the way to the SCC because the prostitution related offences in the criminal code put women at risk, and she wanted them to be safe, then her comments/threats have the opposite effect. Now a lot of men are reluctant to be screened/verified, fearing in the future they may be outed. Her comments if anything have a spin off effect of ladies being put at risk, because prospective clients will not want to be screened, and screening is a safety tool for ladies. I understand her anger. But outing a client, or former client has in the big picture, a counter effect to the original reason for bringing the case to the SCC. Namely clients now will be less likely to comply with screening, another tool used to ensure the safety of ladies. And retired or not, trust and confidentiality is forever, not just while a lady is a companion. There are things I've shared, beyond just screening information, and had shared with me with a lady. I expect those things to remain between us, just as she expects things she said to remain confidential. Trust doesn't have a lifespan. Well it does, take any secrets to the grave with you. And that is what Bedford should do, and she shouldn't have threatened to out anyone. A rambling RG
  12. From the Past Few Days Highlight #1 Got a hold of the Pension Centre again!!!!...my pension should finally be in this coming week. It's about time Highlight #2 Barely on civil terms with my family (long story but they did something which permanently turned my life upside down and was a major breech of trust)...well told them I'm not doing Thanksgiving with them. A few phone calls from them this past week trying to get me to come, kept telling them no. The highlight, it's Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend and I'm home with my cat...oh and the phone turned off in case they try to call LOL Highlight #3 I was given a recipe for apple crumble tarts. My first time EVER baking deserts (before my desert making skills were opening a container of ice cream and heating up chocolate sauce in the microwave...seriously) Between the recipe and my cooking coach the tarts turned out excellent. And it was my first effort ever. Speaking of which I'm going to brew a cup of coffee and treat myself to another tart RG

  21. My guess she'd like you to be quiet about it just as you'd like her to be quiet about it. Handle it by saying and doing nothing. And no, don't panic that's the worst thing to do. Just be calm and forget about it That's how I'd handle it RG
  22. Parsley flakes, apples, and coffee RG
