  1. Not disagreeing with you, I'm just telling what I was told by the salesman,...they had a sale on laptops, $400, but you had to buy...well pay for the OS system over and above that. Seemed bait and switch to me which is why I went to Costco. RG

  3. Don't know the age of your computer or how much getting a shop to wipe and reinstall an operating system will cost, but you can get yourself a laptop for between $400-$500. Maybe cheaper in the long run just to buy another computer Be careful of Future Shop though, they might have computers in the $400 price range, BUT then you have to pay another $400 for an operating system (Windows8 ) I know went there first when buying a laptop, didn't buy there...ended up buying at Costco And now Windows 7 is gone, Windows 8 is here :-( Just a rambling thought RG

  15. I don't know if my opinion matters. For me as a touring gentleman locally is from Ottawa, Ont in the east to London, Ont in the west. Seeing a companion has nothing to do with local versus visiting however. It has to do with whoever interests me, and second, if I can tour to the city (or cities) she is in to see her. To me touring ladies aren't a threat to local ladies nor should local ladies be considered a threat to touring ladies. Each lady just needs to present and market herself, as the saying goes there is someone for everyone. Instead of worrying about what another lady does, just advertise yourself, and who you are. Maybe a gentleman wants to see that other lady, whether she is touring or local, but also, by the same token, some other gentleman wants to meet you. And seeing a companion at least for me, is based on my interest in meeting her first and foremost. Not on whether she is a local versus visiting companion A rambling which I hope makes sense RG
  16. Well beyond a pet peeve, a strong dislike to put it mildly, much more than most here know, but my family, for what they have put me through :icon_mad: I find it very difficult to be around them, even to talk to them Nuff said RG
  17. Well can't speak about electrical or structural but certain plumbing type issues can be done yourself. Clearing a drain like in a sink or bathtub. First, go green, don't use draino. Sprinkle baking soda down the drain, then pour white vinegar down the drain. The bubbling action brings up or clears whatever is blocking the drain. Whatever comes up, throw out, don't put it back down the drain LOL In hard cases, well a plunger can also be used on a sink drain. Speaking of which, a plunger is your best friend for a clogged toilet...YUK Whenever using a plunger make sure there is water in the sink/toilet bowl whatever RG
  18. If the lady has booked a particular date and time for an individual already, even two minutes before me, and I was the regular, I respect the premise of first come first serve. If there is any benefit to being a regular, one shouldn't be bumping a lady's scheduled encounters. As a regular, or even a new client, one thing, first and foremost is to still remember and respect that this is the lady's livelihood, and you expecting her to bump or cancel a scheduled encounter may lead to her lose that encounter for good, which equals to loss of income for her. A gentleman, especially a regular would not want to see a lady lose any income. A rambling RG Additional Comments: I had to cancel last minute once on a lady I see regularly, she got paid in full plus tip by me. While I cancelled last minute due to illness, and it wasn't my fault I got sick, but it wasn't the lady's fault at all...but why should she be at a loss because I was sick. She got compensated in full because she would otherwise be at a loss income wise because she set aside a time and date for me, a time and date I wasn't going to make. And she didn't need to ask me for a cancellation fee, I just had to find out how to get the money to her (email money transfer) A rambling RG
  19. I personally haven't seen too many female clients nor male SP's on CERB. You need to seek an answer from female clients and male SP's. This question is not likely to get answered here RG
