Decided to take a mini road trip (about 40 minutes one way) to go to the cheese factory Bought Cheddar and Mozzarella cheese with Salsa, Mozzarella with Jalapeno and Red Chillies (must be of legal age to eat, yes that hot....but good) and Mozzarella with Onion and a Bag of fresh curd Keeping My New Years resolution. Tonight fresh curd for dinner, then over the weekend nibble on the Mozzarella with Onion (along with fresh veggies) and Sunday and Monday nachos for dinner (guess using what cheese) As of Jan 1st no cheese for 4 months So this was my last purchase, this was my last cheese purchase of 2018 and my last cheese till April 2019. Pretty good for a cheese-a-holic LOL RG

It's Dec 26...THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS. And after radio stations polluting the airwaves since the beginning of November with Christmas music, (and not for any Christmas spirit reasons, helps for the commercialization reasons of Christmas) now that Christmas is over, the pollution and commercialization continues. Had the radio stations shown restraint in playing Christmas music, first by not starting till Dec 1st and not flooding the airwaves (average of 3 Christmas songs out of 5 played just in Nov) it wouldn't have been so bad. No I'm not Scrooge, but please, over playing the music has nothing to do with the holiday spirit, just all part of the commercialization of the holiday season Rant over till next year LOL RG

Seeing Christmas is over now, next topic, how many here are making New Year's Resolution? If so and you wish to share, please do. As for me, not biggies, but two resolutions First, major clean out and cleaning of the fridge. And even before 2019 has arrived, fridge cleaned out and almost cleaned. Just did that today Second is to get back on track with my health routine. Continue my daily routine riding my exercise bike. Walking to the bank and grocery store. Diet wise eat lean proteins, no bad fats only fresh fruits and veggies. For the most part I have done so (no cream, no butter, but I have had some cheese (I'm a cheese-a-holic LOL) and come Jan 1 cheese is getting cut out for awhile. But weight is holding steady (no gains but no losses too) My BP is good, cholesterol good etc etc. Hopefully by April I'll have lost enough weight to get into size 36 waist jeans. For comparisson Oct 20 2017 when I had my mini Stroke I was a size 48 waist, now I'm a 38 waist Anyhow those are my two resolutions, one is almost done, will be finished in about an hour, the other starts up again Jan 1, 2019 RG

Highlights today, got Christmas grocery shopping done, before the crowds got there. And second highlight, bought my six pack of no alcohol beer but even with no alcohol beer got asked for ID. At my age a treat to be carded, something to be dreaded when I was underage...do I really look like a teenager Merry Christmas RG
